Kindred Hemel Hempstead Nursery and Pre-School

My daughter loves to go to nursery. When I tell her that we are going to nursery she gets ready. I could see that the staff over there are looking over her very well. She has learned new things and she started asking for things. She is learning what is good and bad.

Our son has been at Kindred (previously Moor End) since May 2021 and he has thrived there. The staff have always been amazing, very supportive and I love that as a smaller nursery, our son (now almost 4) can go say hi to staff across the different rooms when he wants to, show them things he has made or just to see them, showing how happy and confident he is there. I have no issue in recommending the nursery to others, it is a lovely setting and feels as though they cater the different needs of the children to help them develop.

We cannot fault Kindred Hemel! Our little boy has been attending since he turned 1, and before that, our little girl attended the nursery for 3 years. The staff are wonderful - so caring and friendly. Our little boy has allergies so I was naturally very wary of leaving him in the care of others, but his care plan is brilliant and the staff fill me with confidence that he's in safe hands! Thank you all.

The app they use is also really helpful and informative.

The staff have been fantastic so far! Our daughter started in September this year after visiting the nursery a few times prior. Staff have always been welcoming to us and very attentive to the needs of our daughter.

My daughter has just started at Kindred Hemel Hempstead and I cannot be more complimentary of how smooth the process has been. The nursery staff are so friendly and warm and my daughter has taken to them instantly. They keep us updated on her day via the app and they also have phoned me to clarify anything that was unclear about her routine. We are so happy with the choice we made - thank you to all the staff.

My son is developing so well and learning so many new words every day. A big contribution to that is the nursery staff. They are very friendly and polite and I love their good energy. The nursery looks like a fairytale house and is located in a green and clean area.

I was very happy when the nursery had space for my third baby this year. Having a great experience previously, we didn't want him to go anywhere else. The Kindred Hemel Hempstead Nursery and Pre-School is great, the updates we get throughout the day are such a big help and we couldn't be happier with the friendly staff and the beautiful setting. As my clingiest child, he has settled quickly and I think that's because of the level of care the staff provide. Thank you.

I couldn't recommend Kindred Hemel Hempstead more! The staff are wonderful, the setting is beautiful, outdoorsy, and spacious and the communication is great. We moved from another local nursery after a not-so-great experience and have been impressed with Kindred ever since. Our son is happy and loves all of the staff, the meals are great and the app updates are fantastically helpful! Would highly recommend them to anyone!

My son started nursery this month and has settled really well. His face lights up when we pull up outside. When he started he hardly spoke and I've already seen such a difference in his speech. The staff are all so lovely, understanding and nurturing. I wish he had started sooner!

My son is starting nursery for the first time and I cannot thank the ladies enough (and men if there are any but I haven't seen any!) at Kindred Hemel. Absolutely lovely nursery. The staff are all very professional and so very caring. Personally, I have had lots of anxiety and stress around leaving my child to go back to work, and I wasn't happy with any childcare setting my husband and I had visited (both nurseries and childminders), until we went to Kindred Hemel Hempstead to have a look around and meet the staff. The staff truly do cater to all your child's (and the parents'!) needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parents or carers that are considering it.

Our little boy has been going to Kindred Hemel for 18 months now and adores it! It's a beautiful nursery to the side of a little farm with a lovely countryside setting. Our son is now in third room out of four and has enjoyed his time in each. The transitions between rooms have been really well managed, with lots of settling in sessions in the new environments with new leaders, and he always moves along with his friends. He loves to point at the staff photos and tell me who everyone is, and talks about them at home as well. The rooms are great, very spacious with lots of toys and activity stations. There is a big outdoor area with play every day weather permitting. He's developed and learned lots thanks to nursery, both academically and socially. We love to get his artwork sent home, and see updates of what he's been doing on the app. Thanks to everyone at Kindred!

We are so pleased we found Kindred, we knew the setting was just what we were looking for and hoping to find as soon as we arrived, and that hasn't changed. The building is lovely and well cared for, the staff are just brilliant with our baby, from day one they have been supportive of our daughter and us. She loves going to nursery, the team all know and understand her well and she thrives there under their care. It feels like the team are all with us and in our community, and us in theirs.

Our son has just started in the pre-school at Kindred after moving from upstairs. He has been finding the transition quite tricky. The staff have been amazing at helping him to settle and reassuring us as parents that all is okay by sending updates and photos throughout the day. When we go to pick him up, he has a big smile on his face and tells us all about his day. We're very pleased with the support that our son is getting and also the support we get as drop-offs have been quite emotional.

Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the Hemel Boxmoor/Berkhampstead area!

Absolutely delighted with the nursery, it feels like a home away from home. The staff are amazing and show such love and adoration for the children. Lots of activities and play experiences are set up for educational benefit. Would recommend!

Only feedback we would have would be to have a better variation in food.

The nursery is set in a lovely location and my child is very happy there.
