Busy Bees Hartham Park is a stimulating childcare setting with an interior that is ideal for all areas of pre-school development, with age specific resources and a qualified team of staff.

They have been given an 'Outstanding' outcome by Ofsted in November 2016 and their main priority is your little ones.

Staff are well-trained in health and safety, with skills updated via regular training courses such as first aid and safeguarding. There is also a focus on making sure children enjoy healthy and nutritious meals which are cooked on site by the nursery Chef. They are part of the soil association and provided fresh fruit and veg and organic meat.

A key person is chosen to build up strong relationships with both children and parents, with the handover every evening that includes an update on daily progress.

The overall nursery experience is great and the staff genuinely seem like they love and care for the children. This is our second child at this nursery and our eldest has very fond memories of her time here.

Our son has been going to Busy Bees at Harham Park for over 6 months now and we cannot be more happy with the experience. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming with our son who is very happy to go to any of the staff, especially his key person.
His development has come on leaps and bounds and he
now runs to the door every morning. We also really like the report we get at the end of each day, updating us on what our son has eaten, slept and played with.
Would highly recommend this nursery.

Busy Bees has been a fantastic experience for my child. She has learnt so much from attending and we notice changes in her every week.
Two staff members, in particular, are brilliant with her and we can tell how much she enjoys spending time with them by how hyper she is when she gets home.

I have been so impressed with this nursery. My child has settled in so well and loves the time that she spends here. It has made my return to work so much smoother knowing that my daughter is in safe hands and is happy. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the communication has been excellent.

Busy Bees at Hartham Park is a very friendly and welcoming place. All of the staff are lovely, every time you go there, and you are always greeted with a smile. Our daughter has been going there since she was 3 months old and she really enjoys her time there. We would recommend it to anyone who wants

My daughter started at 11 months old and the staff did everything to ensure that she settled well, enjoyed her time and that I didn't worry. The communication has always been superb. My daughter is now 3 and still loves going to nursery. She enjoys the food and the activities are fun and she finds them
exciting. The staff are caring and highly professional. It has been a wonderful experience especially when I think back to how much you worry beforehand. A brilliant choice.

Our daughter has attended Busy Bees since the beginning of 2017 and we could not be happier with the nursery. The nursery has a real homely vibe to it and we feel like we're leaving her with family when dropping her off for the day. We are overwhelmed by how hardworking and passionate the staff are.

I am delighted with Busy Bees and to see how happy my son is there. You walk in and are greeted by such happy smiling faces of the most amazing, caring, friendly, just lovely staff who create such a welcoming, happy atmosphere, which I find so reassuring to know my son is so well looked after during
his nursery day. The daily schedule is so varied and they encourage children with learning in such a relaxed fun way. At home time daily chats on my son's day are so informative and honest including everything he has eaten from the nutritious and varied menus cooked by the chef, I also find they take the time to answer any questions I ask and offer such invaluable advice. It really is a homely, lovely nursery for children to start learning their way. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness.

Busy Bees is a fantastic nursery. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the care that my daughter receives there. The carers are great and it always feels like I’m dropping her off with friends or family as they seem to really have taken the time to get to know her. Compared with the nursery I sent my eldest
child to the difference is incredible. It’s the best decision we have made! Thanks to everyone who works there.

Joanne Good

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2003

I joined Hartham Park back in 2003 after completing my Level 3 in childcare. I was delighted to become Centre Director in 2013, a role that means the world to me.


I am truly passionate about my role and delivering excellent childcare and commitment to the children, parents and staff.


I have also completed my Level 3 in Management, Advanced First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, SEND and Behaviour. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for our Centre.


I have a 6-year-old daughter who still talks about nursery and the wonderful staff who helped her transition to a big school.
