Cherry Tree Bilingual Day Nursery is for all children and all parents who believe in early learning and having the best possible head start in life.

The nursery is greatly influenced by the work of psychologists such as Montessori, Piaget and Konrad Lorenz who believed most children are born with tremendous powers and sensitive periods for learning. These periods from birth to five years are vital and crucial to the child’s whole future.

Second language learning (Spanish) is introduced during the children's daily routine in a fun way by in-house native Spanish teachers. Children are greeted in Spanish (hola, Buenos dias, como estas?) and asked during the day at meals times if they would like milk or juice (Leche, or Zumo) for breakfast. Children sing nursery rhymes and learn parts of the body, days of the week, months of the year and the colours in Spanish.

Staff have on-going training and a key worker system is in place to make sure parents get regular feedback and that each individual child has their development prioritised.

Children enjoy fun sessions of Spanish language and can benefit from access to a large garden, farm animals plus musical activities with guitar, piano, saxophone and percussion.

I'm really happy with this nursery. Very clean and friendly. All ladies are very attentive to the children. My son required a lot of attention and understanding and he definitely received it, his behaviour has improved and now he is much calmer. Really appreciate their hard work.

My daughter loves going to nursery, she always comes home with a smile on her face and full of beans. She always talks about playing with her friends and what she does during the days. I was very fortunate to find this nursery. My son came from another nursery and I was surprised at how fast and well he settled. My son really enjoys going into nursery, the staff are amazing and are really attentive to my son's needs. He has progressed so much since starting at Cherry Tree. His speech
is better (I get compliments all the time about how well he speaks for his age). He is currently potty training and he can identify when he needs to use the potty. The staff are all lovely and should keep up the amazing work they're doing. Thank you to all at Cherry Tree. I always recommend when asked by friends. My son is also now able to sing in Spanish which is astonishing! Thank you very much.

Having failed to settle into a different nursery, our child settled immediately into this lovely, caring environment where our child felt safe, secure and kept busy with lots of different activities both indoors and outside in the large gardens where different play and learning areas have been designated.
Our child's speech has improved considerably in a short time. She has made friends, she enjoys the home cooked food. The teeth cleaning after eating has helped improve this at home.

My children love going to Cherry Tree Nursery. Their development has come so much quicker since going to this nursery. They are always happy and willing to go. The staff are so friendly and always informative/professional. My children love the food and my daughter always asks for more as it's so tasty.
I honestly have no complaint about this nursery.

My son has been at the nursery since he was six months. We are now getting ready to move on to infant and he will not only be the one who will miss the staff. This has been his home away from home. I have watched my son grow in confidence over the years. I have seen his interaction with staff and know
he is happy. He asks to go to nursery at the weekend and can be sad if I tell him not today. Hats off to the staff for all the support they give to the children and us as parents.

Amazing day nursery, my son has been at Cherry Tree Bilingual Day Nursery since he was 2 years old. Lovely staff and everyone knows my son, even the teachers that aren't in his room. I feel that this was the best nursery for him, being loved and cared for every day he was there, especially as he has

My son has attended the nursery for a year now, the staff are very kind, caring and welcome him with open arms each week. I would highly recommend this nursery. My son loves going and never wants to leave. It has a very home from home atmosphere. The staff are fantastic, very caring and nurturing. There is a good menu. The activities are vast, a great garden and my son's learning, in general, has come on leaps and bounds.

My name is Dalia Ros I have been in childcare since 1988
and providing childcare services to my local community


For many years I have been hoping to find a superman to join me in this beautiful field of education and childcare.


After many years of searching and beginning to think that Mr Right did not exist, I found him miles away in another country, another continent that day I saw him stars and lights engulfed his face.


We immediately new that we were made for each other. After knowing each other for three weeks we married and then realised we were sole mates.


Cherry Tree Bilingual Nursery became more like a second home to our children homely, full of joy, love and care. Where our children learn to love nature by looking after and caring towards our pets, garden and vegetable patch.
