The nursery is welcoming. Staff are friendly and always give feedback about my children's day. The manager is accommodating and office personnel always happy to assist. Children have made some good friends and talk about the nursery in a positive light. The use of parent-zone is also very informative
and a great way to be kept informed about children's daily activities and progress being made etc.

My twins have been attending the nursery since they turned one, they are nearly four now and I couldn't recommend a better nursery. The staff are caring and friendly, and always give me feedback about their day. Any queries are dealt with promptly by staff, manager and office personnel alike. There
always seems to be a wide range of activities planned for the children. The nursery has a lot of resources and is bright and welcoming.

The nursery is bright, welcoming and very child oriented.
The staff are so lovely and the manager very accommodation.
It is always clean and tidy and you rarely hear children crying which tells me they love it there.
I only have praise for the staff in the nursery!

Since enrolling my children at the nursery a number of years ago I have found the care they have received to be exceptional. The manager and her team take great pride in their roles, and the range of activities they provide is fantastic. They really engage with the children and this is reflected in
the happiness of my children when I pick them up from school!


The school has great facilities, which meet the needs of the children who attend. The Montessori aspect of the nursery is a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore the world around them at their own pace. One of my children also has speech and language issues and this was catered for extremely well on a daily basis, incorporating speech and language support into everyday activities. Since starting this support plan, my child has come so far and I am certain that this level of progress would have been more difficult to achieve had it not been for the staff involvement at the nursery.


I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

My children have been attending here for 4 years and the service that my children and I have received has been outstanding. I am very particular and expect the very best for my children and the manager and her team go to exceptional effort to make sure the best is delivered. Any issues are dealt with
quickly and effectively, and the nursery is always developing and looking for ways to improve. My two daughters have very different personalities and the staff allow them to be who they are while helping to teach and shape them into confident, kind and smart little girls; they are now completely ready for primary school life and much of that is down to the pre-school. I truly believe this is one of the best nursery and pre-schools in the area and it is a privilege for our daughters to attend. I highly recommend this pre-school to parents.

I can honestly say I have never had a day when my twin boys have not wanted to go to nursery, even when poorly and I've kept them off they say they want to go!!
This is due to an amazing staff team who truly care for each and every child.
The Pre-school team encourage my children in all areas of
development and this showed in their most recent developmental assessment.
All staff are very welcoming at the nursery and if I were to have any more children I would most definitely be putting their name down.

Our son enjoys his time at this nursery and the nursery has transferred him from a shy boy to a happy and confident boy. My son has grown and developed so well in this nursery. The staff are warm, friendly and caring, especially in the preschool the staff provide an exceptional level of care and attention
to each of the children. The fact that my son spends most of his day smiling and being happy is testament to the care nursery provides. The range of activities play and education facilities that they provide are outstanding. They gave me the peace of mind whilst spending time away from my child.

I have used this nursery since 2012 for both my daughter and son. The staff are fantastic, incredibly caring and the nursery has a very low staff turnover and a high proportion of experienced staff. They dealt superbly with my daughter's allergies and when she required additional speech therapy, partnered
with the specialist therapist and enabled her to run a session at nursery to ensure continuity of approach.


The teaching in the preschool is excellent and my daughter left well prepared for the transition to reception. Although the children have key workers it is apparent that they build strong relationships with all staff and I have never encountered any difficulties with my children settling when their key worker is out of the nursery.


The food at the nursery is of a very high quality thanks to the onsite cook and the administration runs very smoothly thanks to a dedicated member of staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

I would highly recommend this nursery, the staff are kind, caring and professional and clearly love working with the children.
The toys and teaching are stimulating and fun for them, the menu for food is fabulous, and the outside area is lovely with varied activities. There’s always a good amount

My little boy started at just over a year old and has been going for a year now. He loves it there with the other children. The staff are fantastic with him and always talk to us about his day and activities. He is progressing and developing at home and nursery brilliantly. Lovely rooms, garden and
food made on site by the lovely chef! I love the app used to update on his daily food, sleep and photos we can log into. We are very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to anyone :)

My son joined this nursery 3 months ago and in that short space of time has come on leaps and bounds. He's happy, he sings new songs all the time which he has learned at the nursery. He's made tons of new friends and is always playing and happy when I pick him up in the evening. He attends full time
in the pre-school and moving him there has been the best decision I have ever made. The staff are friendly and caring and I feel absolutely secure leaving him there and knowing he is in great hands.

Our twin daughters have been attending this nursery since they were 12 months old (they are now 3 years old and soon to be starting in preschool here) and we couldn't be happier with the care and support they have received. They were premature and very well supported in the early days when we were worried
about them being behind or prone to illness etc.
The girls have shy characters and one in particular anxious, but this environment has certainly helped with this and bringing their personalities out. Both girls have suffered with potty training issues and the nursery has fully supported this in an understanding and unpressured manner.
The 2-3yrs room manager for the girls has been fantastic.
There was a change in overall management some months back but we did not notice a change in service which was great. All the staff are great and the girls are very happy here. We look forward to the next year here getting the girls ready for starting school.

The biggest compliment I can pay the nursery is that it has transformed our son markedly in six months. With his previous nursery, he was in danger of regression and not achieving his potential at this stage of his life. Since his time at St Albans Nursery, he is more confident, expressive, creative,
imaginative, mature and communicates more effectively with us.


We have also noticed that he has improved academically in maths (specifically shapes, counting etc.) and the use of the English language which is more expressive and advanced. What stands out to us which in our opinion has contributed to our son's development, is the personal approach, attention to detail and care given to all children in all aspects including nutrition.


The Nursery has been very open with us and specific about aspects of our son's development that require improvement and have set out a specific plan to address them, by working together with us. Their care feels like an extension of ours. We are very happy.

Extremely brilliant nursery, my son has thoroughly enjoyed his time here and will miss it terribly as he's off to reception in September.


The staff are all very friendly and take exceptional care of the kids, paying attention to every little detail and making sure the kids are happy. Putting my

son here was a great choice especially as myself and hubby work far from home, so it was important to know he's in a safe and friendly environment. Thank you Busy Bees for the awesome work you do with the kids!

My little boy attends this preschool. The staff excel in their commitment, dedication and passion in educating the children. What strikes me the most is their willingness to cooperate with parents to fulfil the needs of their children! The nursery manager has been working so hard to implement the recommendations

My child has just started Busy Bees. I was amazed from the show around that I had and they definitely live up to what they say. The activities they provide are excellent, my child comes home so excited about what he has learnt and it's amazing how much he already knows. I love listening to all the new
things he comes out with. The food is amazing they definitely get their five a day, it's nutritious and has been certified by a nutritionist. The staff were amazing. I am a nervous mum leaving my child but I was able to spend time in the room with my child and they even have a parent room so I was able to sit there and pop in and out of the room but the staff had all different activities going on. My child was so engrossed, it was lovely to see him getting involved. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

I have worked in childcare for over 30 years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and level 5 in Leadership and Management.
I take pride in working for Busy Bees and have truly enjoyed my time since 2013.


I am also the safeguarding designated officer. I am very passionate about working with children and families.


I lead a well qualified and dedicated team of staff who, like myself, have a real passion for working with children and supporting them through the learning journey and development.
As a manager, I take great pride in leading my team to ensure that every single child within our care is given the best possible care during their early years.
