We are so happy with this nursery and preschool and our 2 children both settled quickly and love it. The staff are amazing and have built up such good relationships with our boys that some days the oldest is sad to come home! The rooms are perfectly set-up for the age range and the garden space is
lovely with plenty to keep the little ones interested. The rooms and facilities are clean and the meals are nutritious so have peace of mind that the boys are eating well there. The standard and quality of learning is high and our oldest is about to start primary school and has already learned so much from preschool so is well prepared for the change, although he is going to miss it a lot!

Our daughter has been coming to the nursery for almost 2 years. During the lockdown, she has been really missing it and she was so excited to come back. The staff are brilliant and also in these challenging times, they are fully engaged to ensure that the children are happy. This made the return to
the nursery after 3 months much easier. What I love about the nursery is the friendliness of the staff who makes you feel like at home and the time the staff spend with the children doing activities such as handicrafts, reading etc. Thanks so much!

We have been very happy with this nursery. The staff have been fantastic and my son talks about them after we pick him up. He has learnt so much and made so many friends here. The staff offer help and chats if you ever have any worries and are happy to work with you so your child has the best start
in life.
Every member of staff, from the manager to cook, are involved with looking after the children. This is great as you know that everyone there knows your child and cares for them.

This nursery is phenomenal. My daughter loves this place, the staff are both friendly and professional.
My daughter's development both educationally and socially has come on leaps and bounds since joining in January of this year. Her days are filled with fun and educational activities, and the food
provided is also very well prepared with quality ingredients. Totally recommend this nursery to anyone in the local area.

Since joining the Nursery my son has developed in so many ways. He is more confident and balanced and looks forward to going into nursery every day. He loves the teachers very much and the teachers are very approachable for parents. My son has developed singing skills and is always making new rhymes/songs
and singing. All the members of the nursery are very supportive and nurturing and provide warm and loving care, including encouraging him to eat and drink at all times.

My granddaughter has been attending Busy Bees from just after her first birthday. On the occasions when I have collected her, although a little tired, it has been evident that she has enjoyed her day. The staff are extremely caring and always provide information about nappy changes, the food consumed
and the rest time. The environment is pleasant and there is a sound structure to the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery to any parent.

Our son has been going to the nursery since he was 18 months and we cannot be more thankful to the manager and her team. The staff truly go the extra mile for the children, getting to know each one as an individual. They work extremely hard to adapt to the children learning their likes and dislikes.
They are very well equipped with different resources to keep the child occupied whether it is in the garden or inside. The development we have seen in our son is unbelievable.

I'm very happy we chose St Albans Nursery and Montessori Pre-School for my son.
He loves going to nursery and they take great care of him while he is there. They have a lot of learning activities while allowing the kids to play and have fun with their friends. They're very receptive to parents and
the communication between us and the nursery is excellent.

Preschool is amazing. My daughter loves going there and loves the teachers. I had a very good experience with my eldest child who is now in school and benefited a lot from all the things he has learned at Busy Bees.
I feel that the teachers know my daughter well and that she is learning something
important every day. I can only say good things about this nursery, the only thing my daughter is complaining about is that sometimes it can get too crowded and chaotic but in last period, I noticed that staff are trying to divide the children into groups.
Stability of staff can also help the children be more settled.

Both my children have now attended this excellent nursery and have loved it. It is well run with exciting activities and the staff genuinely care for the children. I feel like my daughter's key worker knows her well and they have a lovely relationship. The nursery is a positive and happy place, with
lots of things always going on. The quality of care and teaching is excellent, as is the homemade food. I have always felt happy and confident to have my children here.

Our daughter has settled into this nursery and is extremely happy there. All the staff are incredibly engaged with the children and all seem genuinely happy doing their jobs. Compared to other nurseries in the area it is a warm and friendly environment.

I was impressed and comfortable with the nursery on the day I went for the introduction visit. The facilities and garden were just perfect to keep my active child busy. I’ve always found the staff and manager approachable, easy to talk to and I value their feedback which is given freely. My child has

My daughter started nursery last April. Prior to that, she was with a childminder and I was a bit nervous about the transition but she settled in brilliantly...! The staff are very welcoming from day 1 and although English is not her first language, she has been doing very well in picking up new words
every day.
She is enjoying all the activities and making new friends every day.


I am very satisfied with the care delivered and the staff is very friendly and professional. I also leave her in the morning with a peaceful mind as I know she will have a good day.


The food is good (as far as I can tell she usually has it all) and this was one of the reasons why I have chosen that nursery as I know how important it is to eat fresh food and it also makes the difference on how the kids are enjoying it.


I highly recommend this nursery/pre-school and I look forward to the coming months when my daughter will be spending more time doing Montessori activities!

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

I have worked in childcare for over 30 years. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and level 5 in Leadership and Management.
I take pride in working for Busy Bees and have truly enjoyed my time since 2013.


I am also the safeguarding designated officer. I am very passionate about working with children and families.


I lead a well qualified and dedicated team of staff who, like myself, have a real passion for working with children and supporting them through the learning journey and development.
As a manager, I take great pride in leading my team to ensure that every single child within our care is given the best possible care during their early years.
