Child always very happy.
Spend lots of time outdoors - Excellent!
Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and I could not wish for a better team to care for her. Her key worker is so attentive to her needs and goes above and beyond what we expect. The activities are led around the children's interests, which I love! They are encouraging lots of independence too. The app is used really well to communicate with us about our daughter's day, which is super helpful for us when she gets home. It is always so lovely reading about her day and seeing pictures of her exploring the creative activities put out. I cannot praise the staff members, enough, they are such a supportive and welcoming team. I'm so grateful we picked the Chandler's Ford Nursery!
The staff are caring and supportive and have taken great care with his allergies, which is such a relief. Communication is excellent and the staff are very helpful.
Our little girl is enjoying very much so attending the nursery. Since she joined the group about 7 months ago, she has developed massively. There are many great activities, I can tell there is lots of singing in the group, as my little one is humming the most popular nursery rhymes, and she cannot even speak much yet. Stuff at the nursery is very lovely, they are looking after my daughter amazingly. Quite often she doesn’t want to leave the place.
The setting has also catered really well for our children’s allergies.
A lovely local nursery with everything we could have asked for. We had to pick a nursery during the height of covid, for a child that hadn't experienced much of the world, let alone social environments. The staff were welcoming and completely supportive of our and our daughter's needs. She had a longer and fully supported settling in period, where the team worked hard to find things that comforted her in those early days. Now she's often sent home with stories of fun in the garden or paintings and songs, they've done during the day. Fast forward a year and we have a very happy, chatty and confident little girl, who struts into the nursery building, like it's a second home. We love the rural location of the nursery, backing on to fields and horses, where they've enjoyed lovely walks, whatever the weather. Newly renovated and refreshed management, has brought new life into the nursery and we are looking forward to having our youngest join the nursery later in the year. Keep up the good work team!
Would certainly recommend this nursery to friends and other parents. Really lovely staff, who are attentive to our baby and give thorough feedback and very good communication overall. Our daughter has settled well in her first month. We are happy and would recommend.
The management and communication are extremely poor after Bright Horizons took over this branch in 2019. I sent a query on the bill to their contact email and never got any reply. The customer service number is not answered most of the time. Even when I complained about the child safeguarding issue, I have not received any reply after a couple of weeks. What can I say? If you do not have any issues, you are lucky. If you got any problems, this nursery and the management team will completely let you down. This is the one I will not recommend to any of my friends.
We are sorry to read of your concerns.
Out team on ukcomplaints@brighthorizons.com would be happy to discuss this further with you, please send your contact information and we will reach out to you.

Bright Horizons
It's a nice location. Most staff are nice and friendly.
However, I am not happy with the management, the way they handle children safeguarding and their communications on this matter. So had to move little one to another nursery 4 months before going to school.
We are sorry to read of your concerns. Your comments will be fed back to our Senior Management team.
Bright Horizons
My son has received excellent care at Bright Horizons Chandlers Ford Day Nursery and Preschool. The staff are all so caring, attentive and they really know him as an individual. I’ve been so impressed with how much he’s developed under their care, such as learning the alphabet song at the age of two and picking up toilet training very quickly. He is always happy to go into nursery and looks forward to seeing key individuals. I have one hundred percent confidence in the management and the whole team. This is an excellent nursery.
Lovely staff, very welcoming. Great facilities for children to play and develop. Clean environment. I feel very comfortable sending my child to this nursery and feel they are in safe hands. Would recommend to others.
Communication is excellent - newsletters, feedback on the days and on the Tapestry.
Children always come home happy and have fun stories.
Would always recommend.
We have two children at yellow dot chandlers ford and we are very pleased we chose this Nursery. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The rooms are bright and the children have a vast array of toys and activities to choose from. Each garden has been carefully thought out for each age group and my little boys love the extra trips to the bakery, pond and whatever ride they venture too!
We are kept informed of each child’s progress and enquiries are responded to promptly. We would highly recommend this Nursery to other parents.
Both of our daughters have attended this nursery from a young age. Whilst very different individuals, they have both benefited from the playful and creative environments and the social interaction with other children and adults (ie nursery staff).
The nursery staff are welcoming and supportive to the children, taking them on trips to shops and regular walks in the lovely grounds this nursery is set in. There are daily activities and lots of creative play.
As a parent, I am also grateful for the regular Tapestry app updates and pictures.
We have always been really pleased with the care our children have received at Yellow Dot, the staff have always been really lovely. The outside space surrounding the nursery is wonderful here. I would definitely recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking for a safe and caring place to send their child to.
I also really appreciate the thought and care that goes into the menu. I know he’s getting a healthy and varied diet when he’s there.
My little boy has been going to Yellow Dot since he was 9 months old and is currently in Transition. He loves it there, they do so much learning through play, as well as showing them how to behave around other children and adults alike.
It is a lovely environment, and the location means they are able to experience a lot of outside activities safely. Alongside this, there are trips out on the "Yellow Dot" bus, which my son loves, as well as Mini Professors and Boogie Mites.
The staff are wonderful, so caring and consider each child as individuals. They take the time to get to know each child, as well as remembering all their names through the whole nursery!
My son has been coming here for 3 years and my daughter started in September. The nursery has a very warm, friendly and welcoming vibe from when you enter and throughout the pick up/drop off and at communication. They are always consistent in this area too. The manager is always very helpful with any concerns or queries I’ve ever had. The staff in all the rooms are very lovely and trustworthy and great with the kids. The events organised by the nursery, in terms of during nursery hours and also out of hours, ie boogie mites on weekends occasionally, or days out with kids during nursery hours, swimming, French lessons etc are all amazing. They are all very approachable and hard working. The grounds are beautiful too.
My son has been at this setting since he was a baby. I cannot fault it and he loves it. I love that so many of the staff are still there and have seen him grow. My daughter is just about to start and I will be going back to work in complete faith that she will be well looked after and have a fantastic time.
We had to use other nurseries, but none compared! They go the extra mile in everything - settling the children, providing different activities on a daily basis, engaging with the children, providing a caring and nurturing environment.
I love that they use the environment around them - walks, visits, and use their gorgeous setting on a daily basis.
My son will be going to school in September, and I feel they have made him feel secure and happy to be ready for school and to thrive.
The staff are all so lovely and friendly. I trust them implicitly with my children’s care and can’t wait for my daughter to start with them.
Thank you to the manager and her amazing team.
We have two children at the nursery both who love the environment and freedom to express themselves throughout the day.

Meet the Team (2)
Kirsty began her journey in Early Years in 2008, when she qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years. With 14 years of experience in childcare, she also brings the invaluable perspective of being a mum to two amazing children of her own. In 2017, she proudly graduated from the Open University with a Foundation Degree in Early Years.
She joined Bright Horizons in October 2022 and is now thrilled to be part of the Chandlers Ford team. She’s excited to support both the staff and families in this beautiful setting and to contribute to the continued growth and success of the nursery.
Passionate about mentoring and supporting fellow practitioners, she believes strongly in the power of reflection and empowerment—helping educators become the best versions of themselves. This, in turn, helps the nursery flourish and ensures the highest quality of care for the children.
She has a particular love for outdoor play and learning, and with Chandlers Ford’s stunning grounds, she looks forward to exploring every opportunity to bring this passion to life. She’s especially looking forward to working closely with the children and families in the local community.
Stacey has a genuine passion for watching children grow, learn, and flourish. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see each child reach their full potential in an environment where they feel safe, supported and happy.
With over 25 years of experience in early years education, Stacey began her career after gaining her NNEB in nursery nursing in 1997. Since then, she has worked across a variety of settings and in 2017, she completed her Level 5 Leadership qualification in Early Years Management.
Her journey started as a nursery nurse and through dedication and a love for the profession, she worked her way up to management — including owning and running her own preschool, which was a particularly proud achievement.
She has recently joined Chandlers Ford Nursery from another Bright Horizons setting and is excited to be working alongside Kirsty and the wonderful team. She’s especially looking forward to getting to know the children and families, and making the most of the nursery’s beautiful environment and outdoor space.
