Pear Tree Day Nursery

Pear Tree Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery, which feels like a home away from home. Our son joined in September 2024 and has already settled in so well and loves attending his sessions. We looked at several nurseries and decided upon Pear Tree because of the nurturing, family feel and the way the establishment focuses on key life skills that children need to support them in daily life. The staff are supportive and always very welcoming. They provide the children with many enriching experiences and for us, as parents, we love that our son has a big smile on his face when he arrives at the nursery and reaches out to his keyworkers, knowing that he is in a safe, caring, fun environment.

We really lucked out the day we heard Pear Tree had a place for our baby daughter. She attended from a relatively young age, so it really was a leap of faith. However, it was 100% the right choice. It has a home-from-home feel to it; small, personable, warm, with happy children and parents. The opening hours of 8am-6pm work well and the nursery communicate effectively with parents at all times. We feel like we really know and trust the staff and that they really care about what they do and how they do it. If we moved house and were further away from Pear Tree I would still commute to ensure our daughter went to Pear Tree!!

This is a beautiful nursery where my little one is thriving. He has recently moved from the baby room to the preschool room and he is loving it. He is also loving all of the food freshly cooked daily.

Pear Tree Day Nursery is wonderful and we are so happy our daughter is learning and growing in this nurturing environment. We visited many nurseries locally and near our workplace, but nowhere compared. Our daughter has been there since 10.5 months old and is nearly 2, attending 2 long days a week. We have been amazed at the amount she has learned there, her confidence with other children, and how quickly we noticed motor skills such as using cutlery came along thanks to being in this encouraging environment with children of varying ages. We love the caring staff, and so does she. It instantly felt safe & warm, like family we could trust, they are invested in working with us through stages/tantrums/behaviours, always guided by us, our preferences, and our routine. Meals and snacks are brilliant, things we wouldn't necessarily have the time to make or like ourselves so are thankful for the variety this brings. We really do love this nursery and recommend it to all.

When researching local nurseries I came across Pear Tree and loved how homely it looked. After viewing it in person and meeting some of the staff, we decided it would be a good fit for our daughter. I'm so glad we did because the team are wonderful! They really take the time to get to know the children and come up with fun and creative activities for them to do. Our daughter's confidence, language, and social skills have come a long way since she started there which is a testament to the staff at Pear Tree Nursery - Thank you!

We toured lots of nurseries and none of them felt right until we went to Pear Tree. Our baby was a preemie so we had lots and anxiety and reservations with him starting. Pear tree is small so no child gets lost in numbers. 2 years in he often comes home telling us the practitioners and manager are some of his favourite people. So grateful for them!

Our son has been attending Pear Tree Nursery since he turned 1, and he's now nearly 4. From the very first day, we felt a great sense of trust and comfort with this place. The team at Pear Tree is exceptional, each staff member brings a wonderful personality and a genuine passion for caring for the children. They create a nurturing environment where every child is looked after with great attention and care. We couldn't be happier with the support and dedication they show, and we highly recommend them to any parent.

An absolutely wonderful nursery, and all the staff are so kind and supportive it's so nice knowing the people you leave your children with are so nurturing it makes the whole process so much less stressful. So glad we chose to use them would recommend them to any parents looking for childcare.

Pear Tree is an amazing nursery. We have been part of the Pear Tree family for a long time now having both children attend there. The staff are great, attentive, and caring whilst also creating a space to learn and explore. Both children have loved the activities, and parties and equally enjoy the food on offer and usually have extra helpings! The garden and covered outside space are a great addition for the children. Staff are always happy to help and assist with development like potty training for example too. Would highly recommend it.

Great nursery. Our eldest started out in the baby room before moving to the preschool room. He loves it and is learning so much. Our daughter is now in the baby room and loving it too. Excellent, friendly, and caring staff. So happy to have found Pear Tree.

Leaving your child for the first time is never easy, particularly with strangers. Fortunately, at Pear Tree, I left after my first visit feeling so reassured. My daughter has been there for 2.5 months and the team are wonderful. It truly feels like my daughter is going to spend time with an extended family of people who know and care for her. They provide regular updates on how she is doing to provide reassurance and I'm so glad we managed to get a place for our daughter there.

Pear Tree Nursery is a shining example of early years education. I can't recommend them highly enough-they are truly one in a million!

The staff at Pear Tree are amazing and really look after the children. They are great at building relationships with the children. My daughter has grown in confidence going there and is truly ready to start school. At the beginning of the year she would not talk to anyone and by the end she would chat to the staff and children. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My little boy started at this nursery just after his 2nd Birthday, I was apprehensive about putting him into nursery but it’s the best thing I have done. The staff are wonderful, so caring and thoughtful they really helped him settle in and find his way. They do so many different activities which he loves. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

As with any parent, you worry about making the right decision for your little one when they start nursery. After looking at quite a few in the area, on walking into Pear Tree and meeting the staff, it felt like the right place. My little one felt comfortable exploring straight away. My little girl loves going to nursery here and runs in every day when we drop her off which reassures me that I chose the right place. The staff engage the children in lots of activities which has meant her speech and motor skills have and continue to develop. The staff are very supportive and keep you up to date. We feel so lucky to have found Pear Tree for both our sons to attend. The staff are amazing and show such warmth and care for the children, helping them feel so relaxed and content. They are dedicated to providing an exciting environment and fun activities inside and outdoors, with the child always at the centre of everything they do. Our elder son had a wonderful time there and was well prepared for starting school and our younger son trots in happily and comes home chatting proudly about his ‘big school!’ after only a few weeks there.
