Hopscotch Day Nursery Gosport

My daughter is 2 and a half and has been attending Hopscotch since she was 9 months old. All the staff are amazing at what they do and I feel comfortable knowing that my daughter is being so well looked after. Their food is great and the activities they do are also really educational and fun. She will stay in the setting until she starts school. Thank you for everything Hopscotch!

There has never been any problems. Communication between staff and myself is good and with the app, it means we can keep up to date with what he is doing along with his meals and nap times.

Hopscotch Day Nursery Gosport is such a wonderful place for children to learn and play! My fighter has been here since she was nine months old. They have played a part in bringing her up. She has absolutely flourished within this environment. Her social and communication skills have been truly nurtured here. The nursery nurses are skilled and just amazing with the children, they really do go above and beyond to support the children and their families. I have recently placed my son here and have had no issues whatsoever as I know he will be taken good care of and he already adores being at nursery! If you are debating if this nursery is right for your child, it absolutely is! The communication between staff and parents is second to none.

My son started nursery in January. I couldn't be more pleased with how he is getting on he is loving it and comes back regularly with drawings or things he has made which is lovely, the staff are all amazing and support my little one so well. I am regularly updated on how he is doing which is very reassuring.

My little one loves Hopscotch. They are always doing fun activities and all the staff know the children well. There is great outdoor space for them to play around in at each age group. We get regular updates about their development via their online platform.

Such a lovely setting, my child is currently in the under 2s room and she’s come along so well. They worked so hard with her and she went from crying at drop off and having to be carried in to walking in confidently. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, I love the app they use and the setting is very clean, bright and looked after. I get great updates at pick up time and all the meals and snacks are varied and fresh. I’m so sad my child turns 2 soon and will be moving rooms, I wish she started Hopscotch sooner to have spent more time enjoying babies but I know she’ll get on just fine in children!

Hopscotch Day Nursery Gosport is such an amazing nursery. My daughter joined during the first lockdown and settled in very quickly, much to our relief, with the help of the wonderful, welcoming staff. On our tour we were impressed with the play rooms, there is a large range of toys and equipment available to engage with inside and out, including their brilliant sensory room! My daughter has flourished since starting here and with the help and support from staff, she is growing into a confident and assertive little lady. Highly recommended this nursery to everyone.

Our little girl has been at Hopscotch day Nursery Gosport from the age of six months, she’s now three. Apart from a slight wobble when transitioning from babies to toddlers and not getting on with her first key worker, who was quickly swapped, once she was allowed to bring a settling object from home, my daughter has gone from strength to strength, thanks to the staff who recognise her needs. She’s formed some really close bonds with her key workers over the years and still gets excited to see and chat to them, even after she’s moved settings. Her speech has come on leaps and bounds since joining preschool, as well as her imagination based play and drawing skills. It is clear the team do a great job in providing one on one but also fun group activities. My next bundle of joy is due soon and I will not hesitate to send them to Hopscotch Day Nursery Gosport.

My little boy has settled in so well and I am so confident in leaving him. He is always so happy when I pick him up and will talk about his day and his teachers. The staff are amazing and they care for all the children so well. Working in the childcare sector it was always a big worry for me to leave my child with anyone else but hands down this is the best nursery and I wouldn't hesitate in referring people to Hopscotch Day Nursery Gosport. My daughter has settled in really well and absolutely loves her days at nursery. The staff are wonderful, so warm and friendly. She has already done a range of different activities and the updates on the app, showing us what she’s been doing, are regular. A highly recommended nursery.

My son has settled in amazingly. All the staff are confident and fantastic in their job role. I feel assured he is safe and looked after well.

My little boy started through all the crazy COVID, and even though this wasn’t the “norm” for the staff, you would never have known. His settle sessions went very smoothly, the staff made us feel very welcome, and there was a relationship established from the beginning. Now two months in, he is very settled and goes into nursery each day with his outstretched arms to the girls with no hesitation. Considering the fact I have never been in the building he attends, I know that he is safe and secure within the environment and absolutely loves his days there. His confidence has grown so much since being there and loves the food he is given at mealtimes. He is thriving so much, and it’s so lovely to see. Makes the decision to return back to work worthwhile to see my baby having fun and making friends. Thank you, Hopscotch.

Amazing nursery, all staff have been brilliant in helping to settle my daughter into nursery during these strange COVID times. I've just gone back to work after being on maternity leave and was anxious about leaving her - I had no need to be! She has settled so well, she even holds her arms out to the staff when we drop her off in the mornings. The end of day handovers are excellent and she always looks like she's had lots of fun. I can't recommend this nursery highly enough.

My son struggled to go to nursery for a long time and I was tempted to take him out. I sat and had a chat with the members of the staff there and felt more confident in leaving my son there. They have been amazing and don't mind me ringing them constantly, he still has some bad mornings when he is left, but he's always fine afterwards. They have done an amazing job in building a relationship with him and ensuring that he can trust them whilst he is there. I've seen a major difference in the last year and it's all down to them. My daughter attended from the age of 2-3 and she absolutely loved it. The only reason we changed nursery was due to moving house. She made amazing bonds with certain staff members, who are still friends now. She always enjoyed going and did so much stuff.

My daughter has attended Hopscotch for about 3 years. At the time of going, I couldn't fault the nursery. 18 months later the nursery has had many staff changes, with many staff leaving, this lead to my daughter having many different key workers in a short space of time, which wasn't great for her as it was unsettling. I felt that the whole of the nursery setting really suffered. Over the last few months changes are starting to happen and there seems to be a slight improvement.

He started at the age of 1 and watching him grow and learn through the support of the staff here is amazing.

Fantastic, well-managed nursery with lovely staff who are genuinely committed to the safety and happiness of the children. My son loves it there and I can go to work without having to worry about him.

I could not be happier with all the staff that work in the nursery they show really care and commitment to the children. They have worked hard to build a strong relationship with my daughter who loves them all. My daughter has developed well since being in the nursery just over a year and is much more confident. The preparation they putting in for starting school is fantastic and feel this will ease the change of environment in September. Thank you to everyone there fantastic nurturing environment.
