Good Manors Day Nursery Miller Drive is a purpose-built, spacious nursery where children can explore and have fun. At Miller Drive, the nursery aim to be providing high quality childcare, within a stimulating and safe environment, encouraging learning and development.        

The nursery has three large, light-filled rooms with plenty of space for the children to explore. All the rooms have been carefully designed to engage the children’s curiosity as they grow and develop.        

The setting has been designed to support the needs of your child. The ground floor location allows for all of the rooms to free flow to the outside space, encouraging indoor and outdoor learning throughout the day. Each room also includes age-appropriate resources in order to engage with each child as they progress through the nursery.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.                

The enclosed and secure garden is well equipped and has a climbing frame, climbing wall, vegetable patch, sand pit, mud kitchen and a playhouse. The garden also has a retractable awning, which allows safe, all-day access even in the height of summer.                

The nursery liaise with local primary schools to ensure that children are well prepared for the next stage in their education when they time comes for them to venture off to ‘big school’.

Good Manors nursery is fantastic and very well run. My child always comes home happy and has enjoyed his day . We always receive a daily schedule of his day. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they have thoroughly catered for his allergies. I never feel concerned or worried about leaving our son in
their care.
There are plenty of lovely toys games and activities for children of all ages to meet development.
The staff are lovely and friendly and work very hard and the other children always seem very happy.
I would highly recommend this nursery.

Very friendly and helpful staff. My son struggles with change but the staff really helped him settle in well. They are very transparent so I always feel I know what he’s been up to. Lovely food and nice and clean.

My children have attended Good Manors for over 6 years and the staff there have always cared for my children extremely well. My daughter had a dairy allergy and they worked with me to make sure she had the right foods and followed the plans to reintroduce dairy carefully.
They always have a range of
educational and play activities available and keep me regularly updated through handovers, on the app and with newsletters.
The way the management team have dealt with the response to Coronavirus has been brilliant, they’ve kept me informed with current updates and done everything they can to follow guidance and keep everyone safe.
You can tell that the staff genuinely care for my children.

Good Manors Nurseries are amazing, my child has been attending for the last three years and has developed and learnt so much. The staff are great and look after all the children so well. Our child loves going to to nursery to see his friends and having so much fun, sometimes he doesn't want to come
home. I definitely recommend Good Manors to all parents, it certainly is an outstanding nursery.

Staff are amazing! So kind and caring.
I know my daughter is in good hands when she goes to nursery.
They do so much with the children there! My daughter tells me all about her exciting day when I collect her. She has many friends there and thinks the world of the staff. Very clean and hygienic

This nursery was recommended to me by a friend and I am so happy my daughter goes there. I was originally nervous about sending my daughter to nursery at such a young age (13 months) but she loves it there which really helps with the mum guilt! The staff are excellent.

I would highly recommend this nursery to my friends and family, the staff are welcoming and friendly. My child always comes back excited to tell me all about his day. My son was changing from tweenies room to pre school and whilst this change was happening staff would tell me what happened and how
he handled it in both rooms.

I have been very happy with the care that both my children have received at Good Manors. The staff are very welcoming and know my children well. My children have formed good relationships with multiple members of staff and I feel that they get the individual attention they deserve. I work full time
and feel happy in the knowledge that my children are spending that time in a place they enjoy and where they thrive. They both get to experience multiple varied activities each day and spend a lot of the time playing outside in the nursery garden.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since May 2018. As a first time mum and a daughter who has not experienced childcare previously, I was very impressed with the nursery’s approach to settle and welcome my daughter into their provision. The induction was planned for her needs and made the transition
very easy. The staff and management team are supportive, enthusiastic and make every effort to put you at ease. My daughter has settled really well and we can see her develop and flourish each week. The activities are engaging and very much support the children’s development. It’s wonderful when she comes home with a new piece of art work which we take pride in displaying at home.


The staff team support any routine you have at home and accommodate this where they can. I would absolutely recommend this nursery to all my friends and family.

I have been using Good Manors Nursery at Miller Drive since September 2013. It's a very strange feeling, leaving your first child with relatively unknown people and trust them to care and nurture your little one, but this is what they have done with both my boys. They have absolutely flourished under
their care. They have helped prepare my eldest for his first year of school in which he has thrived. My youngest settled in a heartbeat and is also thriving. Staff are genuinely engaged in each child's development and share personable experiences of their day alongside the electronic record of their progress. Good Manors is head and shoulders above other local nurseries and I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

This nursery is great. My children have been there as nursery intakes and are now Breakfast Club members. They were upset this week that I had chosen to take them to school instead of the brilliant walk to school service offered by Miller Drive. They get a good breakfast and cheekily ask for seconds
most days. The best bit for me is I can drop them at the nursery, get to work on time and they get to school in plenty of time, safely and fed. It is a great service that many of my friends are jealous of as their nurseries are unable to offer this further service as the children reach school age.
Keep up the great work and thank you from a much appreciative Mum.

I cannot praise the staff and practices at Good Manors at Miller Drive, highly enough! The girls are always very friendly and helpful. My daughter has a wonderful bond with the majority of them. She loves her time at nursery, there are always activities planned and fun things to do. I am running out
of space at home for all of her creations! The facilities are brilliant, from dressing up to the fish tank and the bouncy castle! There are some days I wish I could stay too!


On a serious note, when I have had cause to speak with anyone about an issue, it has been resolved quickly and constructively.


I also like the Tapestry platform as it gives me a more "real" insight into my daughter's day and they compliment the "parents evening" sessions well.


I came to the nursery on the recommendation of a couple of friends and would not hesitate to recommend them myself.

I looked at Good Manors at Miller Drive when my first child was 9 months old. Having viewed 3 other nurseries in the area that made me upset, as I didn't want to leave my child with any of them, but I instantly had a good feeling about Good Manors. The staff were happy to show me around even though
I'd just turned up unannounced. The first thing I noticed was the happiness of the children and I felt immediately comfortable with the surroundings. I went back 3 more times at different times of the day and each time felt the same warm welcome and saw how much the children enjoyed being there. My daughter settled in well and loved every minute, it prepared her well for when she started school. The celebrations throughout the year and the final graduation were all well planned and carried out, involving the children at all stages. When I had twin boys, there was no doubt they would attend the same nursery and they also love going. The warmth and happiness has been consistent throughout the last 5 years.

My daughter has been going to Good Manors for over a year now and she absolutely loves it. She has come along so far and has learnt so much. All the staff are fantastic with her and help her achieve the right needs and encourage her to improve in areas too.
When I take her to the nursery she gets excited
when she realises and that is all down to the wonderful people who work there especially her key worker who she doesn't stop talking about. It's nice to know that when I leave to go to work she is in safe hands and that she is comfortable staying there without me.
Communication from management is also fantastic and if ever there are any questions I need to ask or even if I need some help with something they are always eager to help if they can which is brilliant. The manager is brilliant at her job and is also great with my little girl too.
I couldn't be happier with how far my daughter has come with her learning and understanding of things.

Both my children have been to Good Manors since 2012 and I can't recommend Good Manors highly enough.
My daughter is nearly 7 and her confidence started growing at Good Manors due to the nurturing staff who brought out her personality. My son is 3 and has been attending since 7 months old, he loves
going to Preschool! He has loads of friends and I know it's a place of fun and love for him. The staff at Good Manors always help me if I need extra sessions. They are amazing!

My daughter attends Good Manors, Miller Drive for 2 x school days per week. She feels very happy to attend nursery and I am very happy to leave her in the nurseries care. The staff are friendly and approachable and provide lots of fun activities for the children. Each day I pick my daughter up I am
given a summary of what she has been doing through out the day and informed of what she has eaten. The staff also keep me up to date with my daughter's learning via a tapestry app. I can see the fun and learning that takes place at the nursery and am able to add comments and home learning observations myself too. I have no complaints about the nursery in fact only praise for the team for the care and learning that they provide for my daughter.
