Bright Horizons Southampton Nursling Day Nursery and Preschool

This nursery is fantastic and the staff is superb! They are constantly willing to support my child's developmental needs. Very pleased with this nursery and the caring workers there! Keep going! I only have one recommendation for all of Bright Horizon Nursery: If a child takes a break for a month or two, there should be a minimum charge to keep the space and, if possible, not the full amount. Particularly in cases where we pay, but do not receive complete funding. In this challenging economic and financial scenario, I would greatly appreciate Bright Horizons to take this into consideration. Thanks.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. My daughter usually doesn't settle very easily, but with Horizons girls, was quite quick. I'm sure she will learn many things and have loads of fun and friends. Definitely recommend it. Thank you for your support!

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 1 year old, he is now 2 years old and absolutely thriving in the setting. He loves the staff and it is very clear that all the staff really do care about every single child and I am so glad I chose Bright Horizons for my son.

We love seeing our child develop at Bright Horizons, Nursling. You can see his confidence grow each day in a setting he loves. The staff are great and can't do enough for the children there - they have been fantastic for both our sons there over the last five years.

Two particular ladies are so confident and happy, and it portrays to all the children. My child has gained confidence and speaks a lot more. He enjoys all the food and variety of fun activities that are all different every day. We are very happy with the great care.

My daughter loves going to nursery. The staff are wonderful and care so much about all of the children. Particularly the member of staff in the baby room was wonderful in helping to settle my daughter into the nursery. The food is also very good with a wide variety of healthy meals. The children participate in all kinds of activities every day including sensory play, music, and lots of time outdoors. Communication home is excellent, especially with the addition of the families app so we are able to see photos of her day.

My children have been attending this nursery since 2018. The staff are friendly, caring and professional. The activity planning in the recent months have visibly improved - think this is apparent through the app. I know my children are very well looked after here. Thank you Bright Horizons Nursling.

My son has been attending this nursery since he was one. He is now nearly four and I have been satisfied with every aspect of this establishment. It's clean, it's safe, communication from the team is brilliant and the staff are friendly and professional. My son is well looked after and I have no complaints.

All of the team at Southampton Day Nursery Nursling have been so wonderful for our little boy. He is a little delayed and therefore can be very challenging at times. They have always communicated well with both my husband and I so that we can all work together to achieve the best outcomes for his delays. Both my girls love it here. The oldest starting at just 7 months and is now in preschool and the other has just started at 9 months. The staff are very friendly and I never worry about anything once they're dropped off as I know they're in the best hands. So many activities done daily with a run down at each pickup. I know my girls are cared about by each staff member, and they all have time for every child. 100% recommend!

My daughter has been coming to this nursery for nearly 2 years now and I have always been extremely happy with the service they provide. A very well run and organised setting. All of the staff are so kind and caring, the setting is well equipped and the food menu is brilliant.

I'm very pleased with the nursery and how they are managing during these difficult times. My son is settling after not being left with anyone else for several months. The staff make sure he is well cared for and provide a fun and stimulating environment for him to play in. We get daily handovers which provide us with how well he has eaten, slept and general care. The nursery sends us a weekly newsletter via email which is extremely informative. Thank you.

I'm glad to say the amazing development of my Daughter at Asquith Day Nursery. We are from Brazil and at the beginning was very difficult for her to adapt to this new reality but after 2 months we noticed her happiness and socialisation with her (little) friends. She's more confident and ready for the new challenges.

We have used Southampton nursery for four years and have always been very happy with the care shown to our children. They have both, significantly, developed during their time at nursery. All involved in the nursery are supportive and really take the time to get to know all the children. Always a good r4ange of activities planned to support development. Two very kids at the end of the day!
