Kindred Rayleigh's wonderful nursery, situated in the heart of Rayleigh, is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about encouraging imagination, creativity and curiosity, making sure there is wonder in every moment.

During their time at the nursery, children are encouraged to explore and play in a way that promotes independent thinking and confidence, aiming to inspire them to love learning, now and for the rest of their lives. This is facilitated by the impressively large outdoor spaces, mud kitchens, vegetable patches and Forest areas - which is the nursery's pride and joy!

It is not just the little ones who Kindred encourage to be passionate, life long learners. The team of incredible staff aim to continuously grow and develop, taking part in training programmes run by childcare and EYFS experts. They are the heart of the Kindred family and what makes the nursery the wonderful place it is. They are dedicated to providing the best experience for both children and families, giving you the peace of mind that your child is given the best possible start.

Our son has been going to Kindred for almost a year now and we feel very fortunate to have found it.
The staff are beyond fantastic – genuinely loving and caring towards the children, it’s so good to know your child is in the best hands while you are at work. The kids are always doing fun activities
and are kept really busy. Our son's routine is well respected, communication and feedback is great.
Our son runs in the door now in the mornings and is so happy and confident – and we have no doubt this is in part due to the supportive environment they provide.
We would be quick to recommend Kindred Rayleigh to anyone looking for a caring, supportive, educational environment for their child.

My son has recently started nursery and so far I am enjoying the experience. I was weary, at first, thinking he wasn't ready but every day he's been coming home with a smile on his face and maybe a new nursery rhyme or two he's learnt. The staff have been very friendly and good at putting my mind at
ease about how he's doing. Cannot complain so far. The food he's eating is good and is helping mix up his palate. He seems to be loving the outside space (lovely big garden) and, as an only child, the social aspect for him has been lovely. His speech has come on leaps and bounds since he has been attending. Overall very good experience and would highly recommend.

What a wonderful nursery! From the minute my daughter joined, she was made to feel so welcome and valued. They do so many activities, including teaching her Spanish. They have helped her so much with her eating choices and confidence to explore new food. Our only regret is that we didn't send her sooner.
We
will definitely be sending our son here in the future and recommend to family and friends. Thank you again everyone at Kindred Rayleigh.

The key workers are all amazing and communication is great. Since our daughter started at nursery we have seen her development take off, she loves the staff and has formed some great relationships with her fellow toddlers too.

Excellent nursery! My daughter has been going there for almost 2 years, she loves the staff and is always keen to tell me what she learnt today when she gets home. I looked at a lot of nurseries before I found this one and I'm so glad I found them. She has developed so much since going there and I can
see the bond she has with staff members. Their communication is excellent and I can keep up to date with how she is getting on during each day. I know she'll be ready for school because she's been at Kindred.

Our 13-month-old started nursery at Kindred Rayleigh in March this year. Before she started, my wife and I had all the worries I’m sure most parents have - whether she’d eat or sleep, how she’d react to such a big change, if she’d ever settle in etc. I’m pleased to say, however, that generally speaking
she’s settled in really well, and this of course is all owing to Kindred Rayleigh and especially the amazing Curiosity Crescent Team. We can’t thank them enough for their expert care, and, whilst it’s early days still, it’s definitely had a noticeable impact on our 13-month-old's progress. Besides the care, we’ve been really impressed by the level of communication - the team always take the time to explain how the day has gone, and always have suggestions as to what they could try changing. As for during the day, the app is brilliant, and it’s so reassuring to see how she’s eating, sleeping etc. rather than waiting until pick-up. Really happy that we’ve chosen Kindred Rayleigh!

My daughter has been attending the nursery since 2020 and absolutely loves it. After looking at various nurseries I fell in love with Kindred Rayleigh because of the big smiles that greeted me in every room from children and staff and the facilities and outside space which are incredible. She started
in the baby room which was like home from home with a sensory room which is excellent. She is now in the toddler room and she has a different adventure every day. Her development has come on leaps and bounds. The staff are so kind and caring and I highly recommend this nursery.

Hello, I'm Abby and I have worked with children since 2009.


I qualified as a Level 3 when I was 17 having started as an apprentice. I progressed further in my career into a Room Leader role and was then honoured to step into management as the Deputy Manager where I strive to achieve the best for all our families.


I love working alongside parents and carers and making them feel comfortable leaving their most precious child with us. I absolutely love being a part of each child's journey and watching them grow and develop over their time spent with us. It never gets any easier saying goodbye when they start their new adventure at a big school.


Kindred continuously offer training opportunities to support my progression to achieve being the best I can be. I am now a mummy myself, and my little girl joins me in the Kindred family.

Hello, I'm Jodie and I have been working at Kindred Rayleigh for almost 7 years. I am passionate about Early Years Education, and this is the inspiration for me achieving my BA (Hons) in Early Years Education.


I have completed lots of other courses to further myself and provide our children with the best early years experience, some of which include Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment, Makaton, and Forest School Leader.


I believe a child's early years are the initial embers that spark a lifelong passion for learning. It's my privilege to share this time with both the children and our team every day.
