Busy Bees Colchester Stanway

My Son has been attending Busy Bees since he was 11 months old. The staff all throughout the nursery have been so accommodating and I couldn't recommend them enough.

My baby was settled in beautifully and has made such good progress since being there. The staff are very caring and know her so well.

Staff are always extremely helpful and very friendly.

My daughter loves the nursery and looks forward to going every week. She has recently been potty training and the nursery has really helped with this.

We have had my child here since she was 14 months. She is now 3 and we owe lots to the staff of Busy Bees and the activities they have provided our child to grow and develop. She comes home tired but excited and over short periods of time we can see how she develops. Highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending this nursery, full time since January 2016. She has gone through three rooms and now into her forth. She has had a set key person each time and has always been cared for to the highest standard. Communication to me, from staff, has been excellent. All requests I've had with food and sleep patterns (even the most difficult ones) have been accommodated.

My experience with Busy Bees is that the staff and the help they have given my child has been amazing. They are also friendly and caring towards my child's well being and to achieve in life.

Busy Bees has helped my two boys to become confident and friendly individuals who treat the nursery like a second home.

I have been very pleased with how much care the staff take over my daughter. She is always happy to attend nursery and we enjoy seeing photos of what she's been doing via the app that's very regularly updated. The staff are all friendly and all nice people who I trust. The management of the nursery is particularly strong and the whole nursery is professionally run. My daughter enjoys the food which is prepared on site.

During the summer, I wish windows and doors could be open to give airflow through the rooms. Very hot and stuffy this time of year. One suggestion for the play area would be to install a large sail canopy for the outside space which would be good for outdoor learning and shade. In winter months outside space is dry.

Our son has been attending Busy Bees since September 2015. He has special needs (ASD) and is pre-verbal. We have seen amazing progress since his attendance here began. He absolutely loves the place and misses it badly during half-terms and holidays! The girls are truly amazing. Each and every one of them shows 100% dedication to the children and a very high level of professionalism is demonstrated each and every day. They are all so friendly, down to earth and genuine. They give us that absolute peace of mind and we could never be thankful enough for that.

I love the open and transparency of this nursery and how 'caring' and 'nurturing' the staff are. I visited other nurseries before choosing Busy Bees at Colchester Stanway and it felt right the moment we walked through the door! I was able to spend time with the group during a nursery taster session and later on saw that how the staff were with me in the room was exactly how they were when I wasn't! The 'front line' staff are bloody brilliant!!!! I cannot speak more highly of the care and support they give my son and ALL the children there. My son struggles with change and transitions to the higher groups.... again here they were very supportive and worked on making him feel empowered to make the changes when he was ready, massive steps with patience! Working in the care industry myself, I am particularly critical of practices and procedures but can honestly say if it's a dedicated and nurturing support team you want around your child then this nursery is the one stop shop!

My child has been at Busy Bees at Colchester Stanway for 18mths now, starting at 1 day a week and moving up to 3 days a week. I have been very pleased with the standard of care he receives here. Everyone makes an effort to know all the children and their parents and it has a very friendly family feel. The variation of activities is fantastic and so many things have been learned through play such as the alphabet, counting & colours. The staff always make time to tell you how the day has gone and we like the additional information published on the Parentzone site.
