The Day Nursery Rawreth

My son currently attends the baby unit of which he started in January. I was a little nervous for him to return after lockdown for fear he would take a while to settle, however, those worries went away on his very first day. Both him and I absolutely love it and I am so glad I chose this nursery for him. Not only are the staff that look after him excellent you can really see how much do they care about all the children which is lovely to see. It is such a friendly atmosphere and it truly does take the worry away knowing he is in such safe hands and having a lovely time. It is testimony to how happy he is when he comes home shattered! Thank you all again.

The hardest decision a parent has to make is where her children will be when she is unavailable to care for them. The Day Nursery is further away from our house than at least 5 in Benfleet but it's worth the extra few minutes to go out the way to know that I am leaving my twins in the most amazing place I can. There's cheaper out there but you get what you pay for and the twins being happy, content, well-fed, well educated and running into the arms of the staff in the baby room is priceless. The office team are great, nothing is too much trouble, they've always been very flexible and responsive and often in the mornings, I'll pop a hello to them just because. The food provided is top quality and the girls love trying lots of new things. The parent app shares photos, sleep times, nappies, meals and it makes you feel connected when you are working. There is a huge open space just like playing in a garden rather than the car park styles seen often. I recommend the nursery highly.

Have had the pleasure of using this nursery from May 2009 until Aug 2020 and I have watched this nursery grow and evolve through the years. The management care for the children’s welfare and learning and this is passed down through to the staff. All four of my children have had an amazing time learning and growing and become clever little people ready for school. The grounds and facilities are very good and I couldn’t want any more for my children. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter attends the baby unit at this nursery and we both absolutely love it. All the staff are so helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much an ask for them. My daughter has additional needs and it was so important to me that she could attend a mainstream nursery that would meet her needs. This nursery does just that. They are fully inclusive and tailor their care and teaching individually rather than one way fits all. The grounds are big and spacious. Kids can grow vegetables and watch animals grazing in the fields that the grounds are next to. I also love the regular updates and pictures that are sent throughout the day - a real peace of mind. Easily a 5-star establishment!

The Day Nursery has provided a great level of care to our 19-month-old and the energy, fun and creativity that the team working there bring to our child’s face makes it worth every penny. They’re a dedicated team, working hard to provide the best possible experience and have always taken on suggestions really well to constantly improve and better themselves. We feel extremely at ease when our child is with them and have done from an early stage. We hope she can enjoy her first years at this nursery before going to school as she loves it very much!

Our son joined The Day Nursery when he was ten months old and we've had a fantastic experience from day one. He really enjoys his time at The Day Nursery and the updates we receive on the app are really great, especially the photos. He takes part in a wide array of activities and we feel he has really developed from being at nursery. He is now two and a half and we think The Day Nursery will prepare him well when the time comes to go to school. All the staff are fantastic and show a real level of care and dedication to the children. The way they have opened during the pandemic has been fantastic, the settling in session allowed our son to re-familiarise himself with the environment and see his friends once again. The outdoor space is particularly great, and we love that the children spend as much time outside as possible.

My daughter has attended The Day Nursery since she was 9months old, she is now 14 months and really enjoys her time here. I was originally nervous when returning to work to leave her, however, I know when I am leaving her she is in great hands. The staff are lovely and really do care and look after the children well. Since going to the nursery my daughter learnt how to crawl and has become confident playing and being around other children. My daughter absolutely loves her main carer, and always settles well with her. I think the nursery is a great place with a beautiful outdoor play area. I'm always very pleased with the regular updates and photos on the app, and I think the variety of food for snack and meal times is great. I would 100% recommend this nursery and plan on sending any future babies here.

Both my children have been at The Day Nursery, my oldest left last August to go to school and was really sad to leave. My youngest has been through the baby room and is now in the hall part of the nursery and he loves it. They always let us know what he is doing via the app so I can see what he’s up to when he is there. I wouldn’t send him anywhere else!

The Day Nursery have been looking after my son for the last two years. The facilities are well kept and the space that is offered for the preschool children is amazing. They have a large outdoor play area with good age ranged equipment. The staff are always friendly and are good at keeping in contact via an app during the day and by phonecall if any incidents need to be addressed. My son is always happy when he arrives at nursery and has the same practitioners which allows him to go in and be comfortable with who is looking after him.

My eldest daughter has been at this nursery since she was ten months old and she is now three and a half. From the baby room through to pre-school, the nursery staff have been amazing. They know my daughter well and she has always enjoyed going in. I get regular updates and regular observations. My daughter has learned so much and can already write her name clearly. The variety of toys and activities available are amazing, with football man, music lady and dance lady along with large grounds. The greatest achievement for the nursery so far has been reopening 1st June during the pandemic. The nursery has been very clear since finding out they were reopening, sending full information on changes to us, making the changes then inviting parents in to see those changes before the children returned. This most definitely put my mind at rest. It has been a smooth transition which has not affected my daughter. I have great confidence in the nursery and my eight-month old starts next month.

My first child attended The Day Nursery and I was very pleased with her knowledge and thankful to all staff members that have helped her. My youngest daughter is now at the same nursery. She settled really well and loves going there. Staff members always look after the children well. My first child goes to school now and I can see that she has taken lots of knowledge and The Day Nursery helped her to start reception. As my return to work approached after having my baby boy, we had to start thinking about childcare arrangements. We visited another nursery and cried at the thought of leaving him as that nursery didn’t give us a good feeling. Then we went to view The Day Nursery. We signed up there and then as we absolutely loved the nursery and what it had to offer. Our son took a while to settle in and all the staff in the baby unit were very patient and encouraging. The parent zone app is absolutely fantastic and we really cherish being able to check the app for photos and updates. Our son has been at the nursery for four months and has settled in fantastically. We couldn’t be more grateful and happy that our little boy is really looked after. Thanks so much to you all.

All our grandchildren have attended the day nursery and they have all loved it. All the staff including the admin staff are lovely, they show real concern and are so kind and patient with all the children. The facilities are great, the garden and grounds are brilliant, there is lots of space and plenty of activities to keep the children occupied. The food always smells nice and our children always eat their meals and enjoy telling us about lunch or tea. The nursery feels very safe and the children are very well cared for I would highly recommend the day nursery.

The Day Nursery has been consistently excellent with both our girls - one of whom is now at school and the other still there in the middle room. The staff are always caring and attentive and fun, the food is varied and healthy and the various activities - including the visiting teachers such as the music lady and the football coach - are great. But the best thing is the large outside area - the nursery has wonderful grounds outside, with fields, a large playground with lots of lovely toys and things to do, a vegetable patch and lots of flowers. The atmosphere is always welcoming and the girls both have enjoyed their time there thoroughly.

I have and will continue to recommend this nursery. The staff are very professional and friendly and most importantly for the children, they are fun! The nursery has a fantastic outdoor area and rain or shine, they play outside as much as possible which is fantastic for the kids of nursery age. My children always come home well fed, clean and full of fresh air.

Returning to work after maternity is hard. I was very nervous about how my daughter would be/cope without me.

From day one the staff have put me at ease, helped me and my daughter settle at the nursery. My daughter is eating well, sleeping and learning through play each day.

My daughter loves the music lady that comes in, has made friends and taken part in activities I wouldn’t be able to do at home.

I have also noticed her feeding skills have improved in only 4 weeks.

Our daughter has attended The Day Nursery Rawreth since she was 1. Settling in sessions offered were great and staff were accommodating to suit them around our routine. Nap time, dummies, comforters, special teddies - everything was taken into account for each child and the staff were always happy to listen to our little one's needs. A good variety of food is offered and new tastes introduced. Our daughter is now in the preschool room, again staff are great, we get lots of pictures and paintings, writing practising, pictures sent home to show what she has been learning. They have a football session on a Monday and have outside companies come in with lots of animals for the kids to look at and touch if they want to. At Christmas they had a real reindeer come in and did a lovely little Christmas carol presentation to parents. There is a great outdoor space at the nursery with lots of great equipment for the children to play on. Our daughter is very happy at The Day Nursery Rawreth. We would recommend it.
