The Day Nursery Rawreth

Returning to work after maternity is hard. I was very nervous about how my daughter would be/cope without me.

From day one the staff have put me at ease, helped me and my daughter settle at the nursery. My daughter is eating well, sleeping and learning through play each day.

My daughter loves the music lady that comes in, has made friends and taken part in activities I wouldn’t be able to do at home.

I have also noticed her feeding skills have improved in only 4 weeks.

Our daughter has attended The Day Nursery Rawreth since she was 1. Settling in sessions offered were great and staff were accommodating to suit them around our routine. Nap time, dummies, comforters, special teddies - everything was taken into account for each child and the staff were always happy to listen to our little one's needs. A good variety of food is offered and new tastes introduced. Our daughter is now in the preschool room, again staff are great, we get lots of pictures and paintings, writing practising, pictures sent home to show what she has been learning. They have a football session on a Monday and have outside companies come in with lots of animals for the kids to look at and touch if they want to. At Christmas they had a real reindeer come in and did a lovely little Christmas carol presentation to parents. There is a great outdoor space at the nursery with lots of great equipment for the children to play on. Our daughter is very happy at The Day Nursery Rawreth. We would recommend it.

The food menu is fantastic. Food is fresh and healthy compared to other nurseries I viewed initially. The outside space was the icing on the cake for us. With a huge playground, meadow and large grassed area, my son can really have a good run around, compared to our small garden. It prepares him for being in school in a large playground environment. They have great activities including football, dance and music using external companies. Highly recommend them!

I really have no worries when he goes to nursery and know he is in good hands which is such a relief as a parent. We highly recommend.

Moved our daughter here after sleep and allergy issues at her previous nursery. Staff cannot do enough for her and she settled quickly, eating and sleeping well. Lots of activities and outdoor space and time. Daughter is very happy here. Love the updates and variety of food on offer.

Myself and my husband love that we can log onto the app at any point to see what our daughter has been up to and what she has eaten that day. Thanks to all at the day nursery.

The fact they have an app where I can follow my daughter throughout the day with pictures, activities, food and nappy changes is great and makes it easier to leave her as I know she is having a great time and most of all being looked after to a high standard.

Online app is OK, although this has changed recently and doesn’t communicate EYFS progress at all. Hit and miss quality of handover. Items regularly misplaced/forgotten.

So happy I chose this nursery.

You know you have a fantastic nursery when your child is waiting at the front door with their shoes on to go in the morning and you can't get them to leave when you collect them!

My son has been going to the day nursery for around 18 months and it is a real comfort to know that he is being looked after by kind and caring people. As he has gotten older and changed he has had different staff and different activities but the care has always been excellent.

Rawreth Day Nursery have been fantastic with my son and his additional needs of needing more one to one attention. He loves going there and gets excited when we turn up to the gate - it's great to see.

Always putting the children's needs and development first. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always feel comfortable leaving my daughter here.

The day nursery is teaching my daughter so many things and her writing is coming on good.

Both my children attend The Day Nursery, in the Hall (2-3 years old) and the Baby Unit; and they both love it there. The staff are excellent and so friendly and helpful. They are always doing different activities and the children are constantly entertained. I feel very happy leaving my children there as I know they are well looked after. We receive regular updates and photos on the iPhone app, which is lovely and very comforting when you’re at work. I would totally recommend this nursery to anyone.

The staff at the day nursery are brilliant. They keep you well informed throughout the day and my son is learning so much.

Could not be happier, my daughter loves it. We have just signed up my newborn to start too this year.

My daughter has been going to the nursery since October and they were very helpful in getting her signed in and started quickly when I found work. I’d seen a lot of nurseries but I really had a good feeling when I visited here about the staff and the nursery areas. The garden is brill and well maintained and I love the fact they have separate dining.

My eldest is advanced for her age, she picked up on things (like potty/toilet training, writing her name etc) so quickly as they supported her through her learning and growth. The food is great choice and encourages children to try new things. Both my children are very happy here.
