A purpose built high-quality day nursery, friendly and well-established, Woodlands provides a happy, sociable environment where every child is treated as an individual.

The nursery has 4 main playrooms for each age group. Outside is a large, fully enclosed and well-equipped garden.

There is plenty of safe parking and easy access to ensure you have no problems delivering and collecting your child from the nursery. In addition to daily routines, Woodlands offers extra activities that include Tiny Mites Yoga every Monday from 2:15-3:15pm in the Bumblebee and Preschool rooms. They have a Childbase Specialised Woodland Play area which brings the classroom outside into the natural world with sessions led by a qualified Forest School Leader.

An amazing nursery. Both my daughter have attended and both have flourished whilst here. All the staff are approachable. I would recommend Woodlands Day Nursery (Milton Keynes) to many people. Keep it going 5 star:)

My son and daughter have both attended Woodlands and if it wasn't for the commitment from the care of the teachers, they wouldn't have had such a great start in their school lives.
I appreciate the valuable one to one time the teachers give to each child.

Woodlands Nursery is a place to recommend to everyone. Very good organisation, very good activities to develop babies skills.
Friendly staff, approachable, easy to discuss with them and to go along and see them.
Parent zone programme online is very helpful for parents and it is easy for me seeing
my daughter that she is getting on OK and she is happy, playing and learning new things daily.

Woodlands is extremely good at both caring for my daughter and her needs as well as development. She has demonstrated such development on her oral and social skills. She loves Woodlands and her key person. She has strong relationships with other children already at 20 months.

My grandson comes to Woodlands Day Nursery 2 days a week and is always so happy when I pick him up. The staff are so friendly and show so much love towards him, it really warms my heart! Thank you, Woodlands Day Nursery for taking such great care of him!

I find the team at Woodlands excellent and I know my daughter has flourished because of the service that they provide. The opening of the Forest school this year has been an added bonus and is a fantastic facility. Having been right through nursery since the age of one I will have no hesitation at enrolling
my newborn son when the time comes.

I cannot rate Woodlands highly enough. The standard of care is exceptional, run by the brilliant and highly organised Manager. The girls make every day a joy for the children, with boundless energy, brilliantly structured activities and the right amount of care and cuddles when required. They get lots
of fresh air and the new Forest School is an excellent addition to the outdoor play area. My daughter absolutely loves it there and having experienced other nurseries, I can say wholeheartedly that this really is an exceptional one.

I have 4 children and all of them loved coming to the nursery. During these 7 years, I have been visiting the nursery on a daily basis. Everything has been spot on. Perfect and amazing. The activities they can freely choose to do are so well organised!! The staff is lovely, the facilities without any
doubt, the best ones in Milton Keynes. The nursery is overall truly outstanding. Everyday I know my kids are in the best hands, enjoying every minute there. Food also superb!!

My son attends Woodlands Day Nursery 2 days a week and I can honestly say it is so heart warming to see the care the girls in the room show towards him. He is always happy and smiling, well looked after. I can't thank the girls enough for looking after the most precious thing in our lives, so incredibly

Our daughter loves Woodlands Nursery every day. She comes back so happy. She especially loves her new room, the ladybirds, as they have so many activities to keep the children entertained. The staff are great and they clearly give the children lots of attention and affection. The feedback provided at

We have had 2 children at this nursery (one currently) and the experience for both is/has been excellent- our children love coming to nursery and are so happy here. The staff are all so caring and loving towards the children and make the day so lovely. Our eldest (9 yrs) still talks about nursery!

Both my daughters have attended Woodlands Day Nursery from babies to school leavers. Throughout their time here, I have seen them both develop and grow with the staff and wonderful team. The children are all individuals and are cared for with love, understanding of needs and care. My girls have formed
many strong bonds with the staff along their nursery journeys. I have been delighted with Woodland and would recommend a thousand times over to anyone.

Woodlands is an excellent nursery and my 18 month old son has settled in very well with caring and attentive workers. The room is spacious with plenty of activities to keep him stimulated. Extended opening hours made it the perfect choice and he always leaves with a smile on his face.

Handing my little boy over to a nursery after 12 lovely months seemed daunting. My boy was a little on the sensitive side and struggled with solids (highly sensitive gag reflex). we visited five different nurseries and Woodlands to us just seemed like the perfect place. Dedicated, well trained and caring
staff, great facilities and a lovely atmosphere helped my little boy to settle super quick. His eating improved by the day and meal times started to become a real joy. He has developed socially a lot too, not being scared of other kids anymore. He is now one of the "noisy" and cheeky little boys. My boy has fun days there and I have the utmost respect for all the lovely staff at Woodlands, making his days so interesting with plenty of activities and so much fun. can't recommend Woodlands highly enough.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a nursery, being a mum for the first time this was a whole new experience for me and I wasn't sure what to expect. There was no need for me to worry - Woodlands have been fantastic and I wouldn't put my little boy anywhere else! The staff are warm, caring, experienced
and best of all my little one loves them all!
They have been so supportive and they always have time for you if you have any concerns or questions. My little boy barely let food pass his lips before he started nursery now he eats chicken curry!!! Amazing!!! He is also talking more and is so sociable - nursery has played a huge part in this. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent as I know their child would thrive and be cared for in the best possible

Alyson is the Manager of Woodlands Day Nursery in Milton Keynes and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 23 years. Alyson has numerous qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Professional Studies in Childcare, HND Early Childhood Studies and Early Years Professional Status. Alyson has worked for Childbase Partnership for 13 years.

Every child and colleague is valued for their individual skills and personality. I love how every member of the team knows every child and will greet the families, and be part of their nursery experience. Great relationships with the families last long after the children have left for school.
