My daughter has been attending The Palace day Nursery 3 days a week, all year round, since April 2019. I cannot fault the nursery. My daughter has formed brilliant bonds with her teachers and peers alike, she’s always coming home with something positive to say.
I am a keyworker, and the nursery has
gone above and beyond to keep the nursery a safe environment. Not once have I had any concerns in sending my daughter during this pandemic. The nursery has not had to shut down due to any positive cases during the lockdown year, which goes to show how well they have managed the situation. I would 100% recommended the nursery.

The Palace Day Nursery has been a wonderful place for my little girl to go explore, play and learn since late 2019. The nursery has been understanding and very supportive throughout 2020's pandemic period. They stepped up and made adjustments when required. They take seriously the responsibility of
keeping the kids safe and care for. I would highly recommend The Palace Day Nursery to families within the proximity looking to put their child(ren) in a nursery.
Thank you to all The Palace Day Nursery staff for your wonderful work.

My son loves going to nursery. He is always excited and doesn’t want to come home. He has so much fun doing g all the activities and is always talking about what he has done.
The staff are amazing with all the children and have helped to improve his speech.
With the currently Covid situation, the
staff are extremely vigilant and are doing everything they can to limit the risk. They are always really easy to talk to and will help in any way that they can. Would definitely recommend The Palace Day Nursery to everyone.

My daughter joined Palace Day Nursery in the summer of 2020 after being really impressed with the safety measures they had in place for the pandemic. Since then, she has grown immensely and absolutely loves going to nursery, asking to attend on days off. She is building relationships with her peers
and the staff and meeting milestones. The nursery uses an app to keep in touch with parents snd to upload your children's progress, which is really lovely to be kept up to date in her development and the goings-on through the day. The management staff have been really accommodating when we have needed to change the hours my daughter attends. We have since had another child, and will be looking to have both siblings there in the future.

Palace Day Nursery also offers various different session types, which are appealing as you are only paying for the time you need, which is great!

I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that works at the nursery. I and my son are both extremely happy with all that Palace Day Nursery has to offer and the incredible way of teaching. The professionalism is out of this world, the children come first and everyone is extremely friendly.
Lunches are amazing and I can’t stress enough how happy my son is at school. Thanks once again.

Very friendly staff and fabulous with all children and staff are always happy to help if needed. Always outstanding with their activities. My daughter seems to really have settled in really well thanks to the team. The ey-log is great when you can see what they have eaten in the day and to have communication
for both us parents and staff. I love seeing the observation and the fact they do parents evening. With covid-19 they have done amazing!

I totally 100% recommend this little nursery. My child loves going! Out of all the nurseries I looked at, The Palace Day Nursery was definitely the only one that ticked all the boxes. My little one has gained lots of confidence and made some great little relationships. He loves going in in the morning
and always comes home smiling... I couldn’t ask for a better nursery.

My child has been attending from when he was 5-months-old he is now 2-years-old. I felt content leaving him and the team have an excellent support system in place to help the family as well caring for children holisticly. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and down to earth.
The lovely team
at The Palace helped me through my uni days and I will never forget it, it allowed me to leave my son knowing he is cared for and pass with a first-class degree. This is a fantastic place.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 9 months and now she is 3 years. Her development throughout this time has been amazing, she has grown and learned so much under the close supervision and guidance of the nursery staff.
The nursery has become my daughters second family, where
she is well looked after and always happy to attend.
We are pleased with the relationship we have develop with the nursery staff, which are always very helpful and willing to accept/ respect particular requirements from us as parents.
We are also very pleased with all the efforts that have been made to maintain the social distancing and ensure the wellbeing of our children.

Been sending my girls to the nursery since 2016 and extremely pleased with the facilities and the team there. They are a second family to our girls and have managed incredibly well handling the difficult times we’ve all faced recently. The children's well being is always their top priority and my daughters
light up whenever we go there. The whole team are incredibly friendly and I love that while we did not attend for a month or so due to Covid-19 the nursery did Zoom chats, uploaded story videos to Facebook and called regularly to keep that connection with the children.

I cannot recommend The Palace Day Nursery enough. They are a very good setting anyway but the way they have dealt with the coronavirus outbreak has been superb. The extra measures in place, have really put my mind at rest that my child is as safe as possible there.
My child is leaving for school soon
and we will really miss this nursery. I’m going to be making full use of the school holiday clubs though.

-1My son has been attending the nursery since he was 13 months old and will be turning 3 this year. I have seen how much he has developed since attending the nursery, hitting all his milestones with the support of the nursery. All the staff are so lovely and so hardworking. My son always looks forward
to going to the nursery to see his teachers and take part in the various activities the staff provide for him.
I am especially impressed with how the staff have supported us during the difficult period of Covid-19. The robust and effective system which the nursery has put in place has ensured our safety as parents as well as the safety of my son whilst still ensuring that he is able to enjoy himself at the nursery as well as us parents being able to maintain interactions with the staff.
I would highly recommend the nursery to any parent.

Current Review Score: 9.1 (9.091)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.1 (9.091) out of 10 for The Palace Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.2 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.915 for The Palace Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (55 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 59 Ratings = 4.915
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.176 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for The Palace Day Nursery is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 37 number of registered child places is 7.4. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 7.4 = 0.676
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
