I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am for the care and support my child has received at The Palace Day Nursery. From the very first day, I felt confident that we had made the right choice. The team is so warm, approachable, and clearly passionate about what they do.
I've seen such a wonderful
change in my child since starting nursery-more confidence, better communication, and a real enthusiasm for learning and exploring. They come home happy, full of stories, and always excited to go back the next day.
What I appreciate most is how the nursery creates a safe, nurturing space where every child is seen and valued. The activities are thoughtful and engaging, and I love how the staff encourage kindness, independence, and curiosity.
It's such a comfort knowing my child is in an environment where they're not only learning but truly thriving. Thank you for everything you do-it means so much to our family.

I am so impressed with the outstanding staff at Palace Day Nursery. They always go above and beyond to make sure my little one is taken care of. My daughter started in October and was very emotional to start with, within two weeks when dropping her off although she was upset she went to one of the girls with open arms. I have seen my little girl improve in so many different areas and become a lot more confident when being around other children.
The girls at the palace day nursery are all amazing, they all look after my little one and she has grown an inseparable bond with a few of the girl that work here. I cannot fault the care and commitment the nursery has to the children in their care. Couldn't recommend the nursery enough!

Since joining The Palace Day Nursery in June, we've been extremely happy with our experience. All the staff are excellent and take great care each and every day. Activities are great and different everyday. The food is fresh and perfect for the kids to try new things.
No complaints - very happy with

The staff are so caring and nurturing and it’s clear to see how much they genuinely care about each and every child. My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery and has settled in really well! They do so many activities to engage the children, it’s so lovely to see what they get up to each week.
If I’ve ever needed to speak to someone they are really helpful and accommodating and always willing to make time for you to have a chat.

I have seen how my granddaughter has improved every week. There are lots of activities for children of all ages and she always has a smile. The staff are approachable which is fantastic. It is a very happy enviroment for these children which is good for their growth. We receive regular updates and pictures
of the children which as a parent and grandfather we look forward too. A1+ for this nursery.

The nursery helped my daughter to become an independent, confident young girl. When she first started she was incredibly anxious but the staff were all welcoming and cared for both myself and my daughter. They know every child and their likes and dislikes, which supports that child to help them grow.
The nursery always has great activities for the children to participate in, a great use of outdoor space, and trips to the local park which my daughter loved. We will miss the staff at the nursery.

We are so happy with Palace Day, especially over the last few months. The learning plans are clearly communicated and my child goes to nursery happy and comes home happy. She loves the staff and has formed brilliant bonds with both staff and other children.

Both of my children go there and they are happy with the staff. They have created a connection with them, which for me is really important to know they feel safe and cared about. After management and most of the staff changed, things have gone on a good path and they have done everything to reassure

My daughter absolutely loves Palace Day Nursery, she’s so excited to go every morning racing to the door to leave the house, and then comes out smiling every single day in the happiness of spending the day at nursery. She sleeps for 2 hours a day and eats all her food there - something she does not
do at home, so it shows how settled she is! The app is great for getting live updates about your children, we absolutely love it - it melts our hearts to see what she’s up to. The staff are so welcoming and really love our princess. We feel so happy dropping her off each day and don’t just see it as childcare but a place she goes to have lots of fun and learn also! She’s come on leaps and bounds since starting at Palace Day. Thank you to all the staff, we really appreciate it.

Our daughter has been attending The Palace since she was 9 months old. I am extremely happy with the nursery, the setting, their care approach and the lovely staff. It’s like a family, and I really do trust them with my daughter who is thriving at nursery - my little girl is confident and happy because
of her time at nursery and it has expanded her interaction with children being an only child herself. I love the nursery and would recommend to anyone. Down to earth, loving place to learn and grow.

The Palace Day Nursery is an amazing nursery more like a second home than a nursery setting. My eldest attended and loved it and my middle currently still does and loves it. The staff go above and beyond for the children.

We needn't have worried about our lockdown baby adjusting and being cared for at nursery, as Palace has been great! The baby room leader is particularly caring and switched on. We felt confident that she really cared about delivering the care and food preferences we wanted for our child. For example,
we use reusable nappies and staff have been happy to accommodate that. Palace also employs their own cook, who cooks onsite which means the food is really fresh - and they've recently made the move to remove sugar from meals too, which is so good for the long term health of kids. Kids spend a good amount of time outdoors everyday and communication with parents is good too. In respect of covid, Palace has done everything that it is reasonably possible to do. It is sometimes hard taking your child for covid tests after every temperature, but worth it in knowing that you are keeping the environment and staff that your baby cares about safe. We really recommend Palace to everyone.

My 17-month-old little boy has been attending Palace Day Nursery since September 2020. He has developed excellent relationships with the staff there, particularly his key worker. All of the members of staff (even those not in his room) greet him by his name. He loves going to nursery, demonstrated by
the fact that he has been asking for his key worker during the summer holidays! He seems to participate in a range of age-appropriate activities both inside and in the garden area. The staff take his interests into account and plan a variety of engaging activities for the children to do. We are kept updated by what he has been up to through the use of EYLog and the regularly used Facebook page. Termly parents' evening has also been very informative and it’s clear that the staff know him very well. They have been excellent during COVID, being very vigilant and doing everything possible to keep the children safe. I would definitely recommend Palace Day nursery.

Hi, I’m Lisa Blake and I am the Nursery Manager. I have over 30 years’ experience working within childcare. I enjoy working with all the different age groups and particularly enjoy getting hands on with messy play and exploring the different textures and materials on offer for the children. I strongly believe that learning is developed, nurtured and expanded through mirroring and encouraging positive inclusive play, allowing the children to think for themselves and learn through challenges and achievements. Hi, I’m Samantha Potter and I am the Deputy Manager and Sapphires Room Leader. I’ve worked in childcare for over 5 years, looking after children aged from a few days old right through to 12 years.
