Head Start Day Nursery

Head Start Day Nursery Milton Keynes Village is exceptional. As soon as we approach the front door, the staff couldn't be happier to see us or more welcoming. They make every child feel special. My son always wants to go in and see his teachers and loves telling us about the fun things he has been learning or taking part in throughout the day. I couldn't be happier with his development or his general behaviour, he adores Head Start, and his happiness is apparent from the start of the day until the end. Thank you to the amazing staff; we are lucky to have you all.

I’d definitely recommend Head Start Day Nursery and will be signing our new born son up as soon as he is able.

This is a truly excellent nursery. My daughter attended from September 2020 to July 2022 and she absolutely loved her time at Head Start Day Nursery. The staff care so much about the children's development and well-being and they care for the kids like family. The leadership team are absolutely outstanding, professional and truly passionate about early years learning. This is a very caring, nurturing and fun environment and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

A very recommended nursery all the staff are lovely, kind and helpful, my daughter was so happy with them she developed a lot with them, I would like to thank everyone working in Head Start Day Nursery and my little girl will miss all of you.

We now send our second son here, having had such a good experience with our first. He enjoys every day and the amazing team always have fun and engaging activities that means he really looks forward to going each week. The staff are friendly and attentive and supported by engaged and welcoming managers. The nursery is also lucky to have such a beautiful and quiet setting with amazing grounds outside that they make good use of for the children.

Head Start Day Nursery have been amazing since our daughter joined last year. We are extremely grateful to each member of staff who take so much care and essentially are second mothers in the way they look after our daughter in nursery. They have catered for her disabilities and really taken a keen interest in helping her develop and feel part of the group. Our daughter loves it and we would highly recommend any parents wanting their children to join Head Start Day Nursery to know they will be well looked after and have a great time as they prepare them for primary school.

I could not love this nursery more. We tried a few different nurseries with my eldest and were never quite happy, then a friend recommended Head Start Day Nursery to us. It has a real village nursery feel, and all the staff genuinely care for the children. Each day is personalised, they don't just have the same toys out every day for a free for all like many nurseries, so the children are kept really engaged and everything is well looked after and in great condition (really clean too!). The level of attention the children get is the best we've experienced. We love it so much that when I went back to work full time after we had our second child we chose to arrange for wrap around care for the extra hours rather than change nursery. There is nowhere else I'd want my kids to be.

Nothing but praise for everyone there. They do lots of outdoor activities and he learns new things and words daily.

From day one of my daughter starting at this nursery, all of the ladies there have gone out of their way to help her settle in to her new surroundings, offering her reassurance and ensuring she feels happy and safe every day. She now can't wait to go to nursery every day and the first thing she tells me when I pick her up is "I had fun today!" I could not recommend this nursery highly enough, they are a wonderful team who go above and beyond for the little ones in their care.

My daughter absolutely loves going into Nursery. Our overall experience of the nursery has been very positive. The staff are always welcoming and approachable and the level of care is exceptional I feel completely reassured that my daughter is safe and happy whilst at Nursery.

Our daughter is really enjoying her experience with Head Start Nursery, her learning has improved greatly as a result of attending. She is always happy at the end of the day and loves talking about all of the activities she has been up too. The facilities and outdoor space are excellent and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend head start to other parents looking at nursery options for their children.

My lovely four year old daughter was very dependent on me and my big worry was about her social skills and self-confidence. Hopefully, we made one of our best decisions and chose Head Start Day Nursery. At the first, it wasn’t easy to be settled but the professional and lovely staff assured us and helped our little one to rely on herself and be confident. We are really grateful and appreciate everything that they have done for our lovely daughter, especially during this tough time with the pandemic.

The staff at the nursery give my son nothing but love and nurturing. He adores them all, and he has come on so much since being there. He has speech delay, yet they still put effort into understanding and communicating with him and supporting him with his speech language therapy. I recommend this nursery to anyone who asks.

My daughter has been going here since she was 18 months old.. she will be leaving for school in July. This is my second child to attend here.. the staff are so friendly and my daughter loves them.. through the pandemic they have still worked and been smiley and happy (behind masks). It’s a pleasure to take my daughter there.

Fantastic nursery. Great staff and a brilliant environment for children to begin education. My daughter comes home after each session excited and stimulated from her day. Her confidence has grown and this is down to the dedicated staff. Thank you all.

My daughter started at nursery very shy and quiet and during her time here has blossomed into a confident, sociable, kind and funny little girl who just adores all her wonderful teachers here. The staff have given her so much care, friendship, love and attention and she just loved every second of her time here. She particularly loved all the arts and crafts, the singing, the stories and playtime outside under the trees. I would highly recommend this nursery and feel very lucky to have been a part of something so special for the past 3 years.

I would highly recommend this nursery! The staff are so lovely and caring, they are so welcoming and willing to give the children the most wonderful experience at nursery. It’s a small village hall, but every day there is something new and exciting to discover, walks and visits to the local church, cute little nativity plays and dress-up days! My little boy absolutely loves going every day and loves the teachers there!
