Priory nursery is a lovely place! We have two girls and both went here. One of them is now at school, another still attends nursery. Never had we any problems here, all reports are detailed, great communication with parents, wonderful and friendly atmosphere within. Any queries actioned rapidly, very
helpful staff. Staff are building a wonderful rapport with children. During lockdowns, the nursery has shown great support for parents, a very well organised and clean place. Thank you to all staff of Priory Day Nursery.

The Priory Day Nursery has been fantastic with my daughter. She was a little behind with her speech and the team and manager did a great job with her. They constantly monitor her progress and keep me and my husband updated. My daughter loves to go there, they always do lots of activities and the food
is great. My daughter always eats everything there. Thank you Priory Day Nursery Staff.

Very happy with The Priory Day Nursery - High Wycombe. Our son liked it very much he always attended with a smile on his face. He liked all the teachers and friends that he has made. He was very sad that he will be moving on and joining big school from September. Once again thank you to all at the nursery.
Everyone of you had an impact on his development. Much appreciated thanks.

My 4-year-old daughter has been attending for the past year and she has learned so much since going here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. Amazing staff with so much heart and a caring mindset. Definitely made the right choice by choosing
this place! And we’re very thankful to the manager and the whole team at Priory Day Nursery.

My son has attended this Nursery for three years now and today was his last day!
This nursery has been amazing; he has loved it!. All the teachers are great and really care about the kids. His development here has been fantastic, and I am sure they have played a huge part in getting him ready for big
school. I could not recommend this nursery enough! We will all miss the fantastic staff there.

My son has been attending The Priory Day Nursery for a few years now. He really enjoys attending. Since going there his development has come on in leaps and bounds. The staff are friendly and helpful. It has a nice family feel to it much nicer than the larger nurseries.

This is a very good nursery, with friendly and helpful staff. My daughter is clearly very happy and says she likes nursery and looks forward to going and seeing her friends. There is a good daily routine with a great balance of activities and the outdoor and indoor spaces are both lovely. One of the
reasons I chose this nursery when she was younger is because it has a 'home' feel - being a converted house rather than a school-type building. It is also very conveniently located near the town centre. My daughter loves the short day trips to the shopping centre, the train station, and the nearby small museum. She almost always eats all the food, so it must be good! I would very much recommend this nursery to other parents.

Our two boys have been going to this nursery since they were 10-months, and they both love it. The staff are very friendly, with many having worked there for years; there is a real family vibe as each room is small so the children build good friendships with each other and their key carers. We have
also liked how much the children play outside, and have done trips to the park and museum. We will be sad when our eldest leaves this September for school!

Both our son and daughter attend Priory Day Nursery in High Wycombe and they are very happy there. Our daughter has been attending for 3 years and son for a year and a half. Both have built fantastic bonds with their carers and enjoy going in. The nursery has been very open with their Covid approach
and we felt confident dropping them back off after a few months of shut down.

My little girl has attended this nursery for 2 years already and she loves it. She loves her teachers and friends and all the fun activities they do for her.
I love this nursery, the staff is wonderful and can't thank them enough of how lovely they are to my toddler and how much they teach her.
She
also loves the food and I'm so pleased she has a nutritive meal for her development.
I love the online diary they have so I know what my little one has done during the day and what she has eaten and observations of her development.
I will recommend this nursery to any mum, it's a lovely and happy place where your child will learn lots.

This nursery is fantastic. I really cannot recommend it enough. My daughter did not speak much and was very shy with other people when she started here. 6 months later and we have an increasingly confident, chatty little girl and it is largely down to the fantastic team at Priory Day Nursery. I get
updates every day via the Eylog system which is lovely to see what my child has been up to that day, plus it shows you what an amazing variety of freshly made food they have eaten that day, and how much!
I would definitely say this is an excellent choice if you want your child to be surrounded by supportive, caring staff who help nurture your child emotionally, socially and educationally.

I'm so impressed with this setting that I'm gutted my son has not been here longer. Not only are all the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. The nursery is bright, colourful and a wonderful place to learn. Organisation is very good as well as communication from staff. I have nothing but positive
things to say and would recommend to everyone.

Priory Nursery is a small colourful nursery. We have used this nursery since 2011 and will continue for our new baby. Our children always come home happy and tell me all good stories and with friends and things they have learnt.
The children are always involved in different activities. I would recommend
this nursery.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.846)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.846) out of 10 for The Priory Day Nursery - High Wycombe is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 24 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.846 for The Priory Day Nursery - High Wycombe is calculated as follows: ( (246 Excellents x 5) + (37 Goods x 4) + (1 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 285 Ratings = 4.846
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for The Priory Day Nursery - High Wycombe is based on 24 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 45 number of registered child places is 9, which has been reached with 24 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
