My daughter has been attending Priory Nursery for over a year now, since she was 10 months old. She truly enjoys going to nursery and has learned so much during her time there. She is becoming increasingly independent for her age, and her social skills are excellent. I believe this is largely due to
the supportive staff and the positive interactions with the other children at the nursery.

My daughter has been attending nursery for almost 3 years since the age of 1 and I would like to take this opportunity to give my praise to the nursery.
The time and care they take with the children is outstanding and the proof is how excited my daughter is to attend everyday . All staff are kind,
polite and welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. I find communication with the nursery / management easy and clear whether that be face to face, email or via phone.
Thank you to the whole priory nursery team for the amazing work you do.

I have been connected to Priory Day Nursery since 2015 (my first child attended from 10 months to 4 years old between 2015 - 2018) and my youngest child from 2023 - 2025. I can't praise this nursery enough - the way the staff nurtured and cared for my daughters over the years is remarkable. My elder
daughter still talks about the staff (and she is now in Year 5) my daughter who currently attends (born during COVID) was very shy and found it a little harder to communicate. At Priory she has really thrived and made some great friends and the experience at Priory Day Nursery will set her up for success at Primary school. The staff are thoughtful, very proactive, calm and the atmosphere in general this nursery is wonderful. The mummy guilt is real but the nursery makes it that little bit easier.

Lovely nursery. My son loved it when he went here 6 years ago, and my daughter loves it now. All the staff are friendly and approachable, my daughter has a good range of lunches prepared by the chef and settled quickly. She looks forward to going and comes out happy, telling me about the different activities
she has done. Her speech, confidence and counting has improved in a matter of weeks. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love this nursery for our son. Sending our son to this nursery was the best decision we could have made. They handled the transition from another nursery with care and efficiency. He adores all the staff and doesn't stop talking about them even when we are at home. We love seeing the daily
updates of all the activities he gets up to. The communication, between the nursery and myself, is always present involving all topics revolving around our son and the nursery. If you are looking for a high quality nursery that makes you feel like your child is safe and looked after, I highly recommend The Priory Day Nursery.

Great team! Deputy Manager is always available and there is fantastic communication within the team. It was my 8 month old firsts week and the team adjusted and communicated so well together to make the first week as comfortable as possible for my daughter. They really go above and beyond the accommodate
personal needs.

Overall happy with nursery. It has a cozy and safe feel to it. Children seem to fit in quickly and some of the staff seem to truly care. Food menu could be revised for healthier options, although unfortunately it seems akin to a lot of the school food in the UK.

Altough we are still do settling progression, I am very happy with the Priory Day Nursery. They are helping for my little one a lot, and not force to do a full session, if they can see she is unsettled. Her first language is different than english and they are helpful in this too. The staff keep us
update and answering kindly our many phone calls.
I would recommend to anyone in the area needing childcare.

Although our twins were only there for a short while, due to personal reasons and logistics, the staff ensured that they were settled well, kept us informed and answered our many phone calls. They clearly care well for the children, and any concerns were dealt with straight away. We are sad that we
are no longer with Priory!

Sending my daughter to Priory Day Nursery was the best decision ever. My little girl thrived so much. She was happy to go in every single day and sometimes did not even want to come home. She made such lovely connections with all the nursery staff and to this day still talks about them. Her transition
to Reception was made so easy.
Having to drop off your child and not worry about how her day is going is the best thing ever for a parent. Communication and issues with the nursery is smooth and easy, the food is great, and the routine the kids have is also great. helps the little ones become independent too.
Highly recommend this nursery.

The Priory Day Nursery has been the best place for my son and us as a family. They were the first nursery to allow me to visit after COVID-19, so warm and welcoming despite the challenges, just what I needed as a first-time mum. My son has loved his time there, he started in 2021 and he left for school
in 2024. He learnt so much and has become a kind, caring and independent boy with the support from all the staff. He enjoyed every day, sharing all the things he learnt, we also got frequent updates with photos of activities, alongside his learning journal. The management has been so supportive for me as a parent, I can't fault them. It's been a great experience all around.

This is a lovely nursery. The staff are all caring and engaged. Both my boys love it here and are very well taken care of. The staff work hard to get to know the children as individuals and support them through their time at the nursery, even tailoring activities to suit the interests of the children
to keep it fun and engaging for them.

My daughter has started nursery in May 2022 when she was 2 years old very shy girl. She was really shy at first didn't want to play with kids and the ladies at nursery took very good care of her. She has slowly started liking going to nursery and a couple months later she's loved it. Now she loves everything
about nursery she has lots of friends, she is open and confident and she developed very well. She loves her teachers and she has a great time at nursery.
She would also want me to mention that she loves her lunches and food in there.
For me as a parent I did experience great communication with staff and had a quick reply to all my enquiries and I was confident with leaving my child at nursery while I was at work.
I would definitely recommend Priory Day Nursery to everyone (and I already did, my neighbour has a couple months old daughter and I already told her which nursery is the best).
Thank you for your care for the past 2 years!

I am so grateful that my children have the opportunity to attend Priory Nursery. My daughter has been attending for around 1 and a half years and she loves all her caregivers, she always comes back very happy and talks about her incredible day at the nursery. My son started recently and he loves it
too. The care that all the girls take with them is incredible. Thank you so much to everyone at Priory Nursery.

I am very happy with the nursery that my child attends. The staff are friendly, caring, and professional. They provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for the children, with a variety of activities and resources. The nursery is clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The nursery also follows the
Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, and supports the children’s learning and development. My child loves going to the nursery and has made great progress since joining. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.874) out of 10 for The Priory Day Nursery - High Wycombe is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 19 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.899 for The Priory Day Nursery - High Wycombe is calculated as follows: ( (209 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (1 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 227 Ratings = 4.899
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.975 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for The Priory Day Nursery - High Wycombe is based on 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.975
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 45 number of registered child places is 9, which has been reached with 19 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
