Field House Day Nursery (Buckingham)

My daughter joined the nursery in January 2023 after not getting on well at another nursery, we were anxious about her settling in but it couldn't have gone smoother. The staff have been incredible and in a short time, she has settled in and is excited to go every day. Everything was communicated to us daily and we always felt we were listened to about any concerns.

Without a doubt the best nursery there is. The love and support that is given to your child are fantastic. They find new and exciting ways to encourage the children to learn as a group and individually. Both our girls have been so happy at Field House. It's a wonderful place and we are so lucky to have the amazing people who work there in our lives.

My son started in July 2022 and he has settled in so well to Field House. He absolutely loves coming in, all of the staff are so lovely and caring. The settling in process was really well organised, and we were able to have a couple of extra sessions to make sure we were both ready for him to start. His development has come on so much in such a short period of time, and he is such a confident and social baby now. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone!

My son started here in May! And I have been blown away with how amazing the nursery is! All staff take this time to talk to me on collection and drop off, especially the ladies at the front desk. My son's key worker has formed such a lovely bond with him that when I say shall we go and see her he answers yes. Equally, all the ladies in the room are kind caring and make me feel like they love my son! I am happy and confident leaving him at Field House Day Nursery whilst I go to work and love receiving updates throughout the day to see how he has been! I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone having to go back to work.

My little girl is in the Bumble Bee room, she is so happy and has great relationships with the amazing staff, especially her key person. The staff plan amazing activities following my little girl's interests. She has learnt so much. The management staff are so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to help with any problems. The nursery is set up so well all the rooms look great and it has a lovely, homely feel.

My child started in March and has settled so well due to the caring and enthusiastic staff. As new parents, we were extremely anxious about leaving our son but we couldn't be any happier with the way that he is enjoying his time there. What an amazing place! Both my girls go to Field House and they love it. From the start, the manager gave us full confidence in the care and guidance they all give to the children. Seeing how my girls have flourished since going to Field House is amazing. My eldest is so much more confident, her phonics and numbers are incredible, the staff put so much into the development of the children. My youngest has made an incredible bond with her key worker, who has guided her to become a bright and confident 2-year-old. It is clear that Field House is a devoted and passionate nursery and to top it off all the upgrades and renovations have made an already amazing place much more incredible.

We couldn't be happier to have our little girl attend Field House Nursery. From the baby room at age of 12 months to her recent move to BB room, she has become the most content, smart and well conversed little person and we are grateful to the team at Field House that love her like their own and nurture her every stage to help her grow in both confidence and skills. The care is beyond superior and the staff are incredibly talented to understand the individual needs so well to get the best out of each of them. The effort to encourage their friendships as well as their independence is lovely and we really can't fault one element of this beautiful place we get to call our nursery. Thank you to all at Field House for their continued support for our lovely little girl whilst in your care.

All three of our children have been to Field House for five days a week with our youngest currently in the Bumblebees room. Our eldest is now almost eight, so we have had children at Field House for the past seven years. Our children are all very different characters with very different interests and personalities, but one similarity is that they all absolutely loved or love their time at Field House. Individual interests have always been built into their day-to-day activities or even supplemented with equipment bought specially to maximise these interests. There is a real family atmosphere at Field House, and the staff are clearly a tight team. They seem to have endless enthusiasm for their jobs which are clearly a passion, and this applies to staff in each and every room. We are very lucky to have such a fantastic nursery and I’d recommend them without hesitation.

My son has had an amazing start from day 1 from all the staff at Field House. You have all surrounded him with love, care, fun and amazing learning. We feel so lucky to be able to send our boys to such a wonderful nursery.

Both my daughter and my son have attended Field House nursery from the ages of 6 and 3 months old until they were at pre-school and left to start at primary school when they were 4 years old. I cannot recommend this nursery enough. My children absolutely loved every minute and had such a fantastic journey through the different classrooms. They learnt so much and seem/ed so prepared to start their journey into primary school. All of the staff have been absolutely fantastic - there is always such a personal feel to how your child is being cared for and educated. It will be a very sad day when my little boy leaves to start school (as it was when my daughter left) but feel so happy to know that he has had such an amazing few years at Field House. COVID means drop off & pick up must now happen in the car park. At pick up one day my daughter out of the blue decided to start running away from me through the car park. I, fortunately, managed to stop her. That night I emailed the nursery with a number of possible measures that I thought could be introduced to minimize the risk of it happening again for all children, not just my daughter. The nursery responded so positively, introducing barriers in the queuing area, bringing all her items out in one bag to give me a free hand to hold onto her and undertaking road safety discussions and activities with all the preschool children. But best of all we got to take the Hippo home for the weekend, and we took him on an adventure around Buckingham learning how to stay safe in car parks and when crossing the road. His adventure was shared with preschool on his return to nursery. I can't thank nursery enough for how they have responded, and I hope there won't be any issues in future in the car park.

My wife and I have been so impressed recently with how the nursery have incorporated numeracy and literacy into so much of what they do. In encouraging our sons' interest in tadpoles, he has made leaps and bounds in counting. We love the discussions with his key worker finding out what we can do at home to support or that are linked to activities at nursery, and also how they incorporate themes from children's homes into nursery activities and learning.

Fieldhouse Nursery is fantastic. All the staff are wonderful - so caring, friendly and personable. I have two children at Fieldhouse and they both love it. Development and education is key but it is all within a very fun environment. They have dealt with the covid pandemic efficiently and professionally. Parents are often asked opinions and involved in decision-making. I highly recommend Fieldhouse.

My daughter has settled so quickly at Field House Day Nursery (Buckingham) and I am so glad I chose this nursery for her. All the staff are so friendly and enthusiastic always smiling and very professional. The days are packed full of fun activities and it's all very structured without being too strict. She gets great home cooked food and they really seem to care and want to get the best out of each child.

What a fantastic nursery! My son is so happy attending and it is clear that all the children really do come first here. I absolutely love how activities are planned around the children's interests and it is lovely how the staff really get to know your child. My son has a fantastic key worker who has really helped him to progress, sharing his targets and celebrating successes with us. Nothing is too much for Field House Nursery- Staff are always happy to help and always have a smile on their face, even at the end of a long day. They have fantastic communication through both Parent Zone and email, and we always feel very well informed of our child's learning and of any upcoming events.

Our son has recently turned two and in the space of two weeks had to contend with the challenges of the arrival of his baby sister and changing nursery rooms (to stay with his friends) - and all of this during COVID-related limitations. The entire team at Field House Day Nursery were so helpful, encouraging and reassuring to both our son and both of us. We felt assured that the team were helping our son manage the challenges that presented to a degree that he felt safe, secure and comfortable. We would like to make a particular mention for certain staff who my son talks about all the time. Thank you again to the entire team - we are so pleased we found you.

My daughter is so happy going into nursery every day. She feels secure and safe and has wonderful connections with her key worker and all the other staff members. I can't recommend Field House highly enough.

Both our children have attended Field House and it has been the best experience for them. Our littlest is in the preschool now and I will be truly sad when he does leave. The care, attention and love the kids get/got has been fantastic. The activities set are wide-ranging and it is brilliant to see how they have developed within the setting. The team are fantastic and extremely helpful. They have helped enormously with fussy eating habits and I would recommend Field House to anyone looking for a great nursery and preschool experience for their children.

Our daughter started attending Field House at 16 months and is now nearly 3. She does 3 'school days' per week. The staff are excellent and have really put lots of effort in to help out with her speech delay. The updates we're getting via the app of innovative and clever activities, the feedback we get after each session and the amazing changes we've seen in her at home are all testaments to the hard work the team has put in. The staff are all so friendly and approachable and our daughter has a great relationship with her key workers. We're very pleased with our decision to send our daughter to Field House and would strongly recommend the nursery to anyone!
