Spring Nursery RAF Halton provides high-quality childcare and early education in a nurturing, inspiring environment.
Ofsted awarded the nursery a GOOD rating (April 2025), recognising its commitment to strong standards of care and learning for every child.
Dedicated spaces are designed to support each stage of development:
Explorers – 3 months to 2 years
Navigators – 2 to 3 years
Inventors – 3+ years
The nursery operates 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, providing consistent care for families.
A spacious garden is a key feature of the setting, including a recently refurbished (2025) play area designed to encourage exploration and physical development. A covered outdoor space enables children to access outdoor learning experiences in all weather conditions.
A dedicated Forest School area offers weekly sessions where children explore, create, and build a deeper connection with the natural environment. These experiences reflect a strong focus on fostering a love for the outdoors.
Boogie Mites music sessions are offered across all age groups, supporting a wide range of learning opportunities within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in an engaging, enjoyable way.
The nursery follows its own carefully developed curriculum, closely aligned with nature and each child's individuality, supporting holistic development and personal interests.
The staff have also worked incredibly hard over the past year to complete the Eco School accreditation, which they achieved with distinction.
The staff team includes experienced and dedicated professionals, many of whom have been part of the setting for over 10 years. The team's knowledge and expertise help create a nurturing, stimulating environment. Ongoing training ensures practice is continually developed and maintained at a high standard.

About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 47 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 47 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 24.3 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

My son started this setting in January 2019 following a bad time in a previous setting. He was a little nervous to begin with but the staff were amazing. They always updated me that he was okay and settled via the Famly app after I had left, they always made me feel at ease and comfortable. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The nursery itself is clean, there’s is so much for the children to do. The food is outstanding and my son enjoys his meals every day. The staff have so much love and care towards the children they look after. My son has progressed massively since attending. It’s a shame he leaves for big school soon.

I have found the nursery brilliant in every aspect. The staff are friendly, kind and caring. Always lots of different and stimulating activities for the children. When my son started they instantly picked up on the fact he was delayed with his speech and language. They referred him very quickly and started working with him to improve it. He has since come on leaps and bounds with his speech.
