Spring Nursery RAF Halton

The team show there dedication and care to all children, they provide wonderful learning experiences for all.

Spring RAF Halton has been part of our family for the last 6 years with all 3 of our children attending the setting. We have seen the nursery go through some challenging times but the staff have ALWAYS remained professional, nurturing and positive. It is a setting full of warmth, laughter and care. A place where I drop off my child (in each of the rooms as they have gone through the setting) knowing they are safe, cared for and ultimately going to have a great day. Thank you Spring Halton for looking after my children so well and being a home from home in so many ways.

Our little one loves it at Spring Halton. She always has a great time there and all the staff are so lovely. It is a very welcoming and inclusive place, and their compassion and understanding really helped us in the early days of settling in. They have a varied menu, the outdoor space is great, and they really value nature and kindness. So grateful we found this brilliant nursery and it's even better watching our little one thrive there. Our child has been attending Spring Halton for about a year. The whole team are wonderful and caring. They're really good at communicating with the parents to keep us well informed. There are regular updates on the app, thorough handovers and parents evenings. They're really supportive with any additional needs too and flexible and accommodating when life gets busy. The facilities and activities are great and ideal for kids with a range of energy levels. Ours is high energy and loves how much time they get to spend outside. The team seem so passionate about their work and it's a really lovely environment for children and parents.

Spring nursery has been a wonderful setting for my daughter. She has benefitted from continuity of care from experienced staff who know her well and take great care of her as an individual. The nursery offers activities that she hugely enjoys, including forest school and music sessions. The managers are professional, approachable and put their heart into their work.

Our baby is just about to start attending too, and again he has settled in immediately and we're confident he's going to love it!

Our son is very happy at Spring. He started at just over 9 months old and it was a big step for me - lots of anxiety over his sleeping and eating! However the staff couldn’t have been more supportive and patient with me and welcomed our son and helped him settle so well. The staff are always fair and clear with us as parents and always put the children first. The children’s play is always varied with a great balance of inside and outside play across the year. Our son is thriving at Spring and at 17 months old runs to the nursery front door at drop off - which speaks volumes.

My son has been going to Spring from 9 months old, he enjoys going in and has come on leaps and bounds with his speech and his learning. The staff are eager to help the children to become independent and express themselves, they are also caring. My little boy has grown so much and that’s thanks to all of the support and love from the staff. Would highly recommend.

We couldn’t wish for more from a nursery. Both my children now attend Spring Nursery RAF Halton, and they absolutely love it. The staff are very professional, yet extremely friendly and approachable - the children also love them.

Recently had our son attend Spring Nursery and couldn’t be happier. The staff are great, always happy, positive, and interacting with the children. The play seems varied and interesting, with the use of outdoor play areas when suitable. My son has settled in very quickly and loves it!

My two boys have been extremely happy at Spring for the past two years. They attend on a full times basis and are doing new things every day. The team are so caring and creative; the boys really do see them as a second family. With both parents having deployed during this period, we never have to worry as we know the boys are so well looked after, and the team are always sensitive to the fact that a parent is absent. Forest School is definitely a highlight of the week and really has brought out my four-year-old fascination with nature. Thank you, Spring, for all you do! You are all brilliant!

Absolutely amazing staff, patient, considerate, and kind, like handing my daughter over to another parent - I cannot fault this nursery. My daughter loves the vast range of activities, and they work hard to help and support any needs she has. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone. I can’t thank them enough!

Lovely nursery. I was so nervous about sending my little one to be looked after by someone else! But the staff at Spring made it so easy, and I love how they keep us up to date every day with what our little one is doing; it really helps and means a lot. The staff in Explorers are so wonderful - they always have fun with the children and clearly care for them. We couldn’t have asked for better people to look after our baby. Thank you all at Spring!

Spring Nursery RAF Halton is a setting that I would (and do!) recommend time and time again. The facilities are spacious, well-considered, and conducive to a great learning and play environment. The management team are approachable, proactive and supportive. And the key workers are passionate, pragmatic and highly skilled. You would struggle to find a nursery setting that offers a better quality of care than here.

I have had positive interactions with the staff at Spring Nursery - they always work in the best interest of the child (children) in their care. I feel from the baby room up to their preschool, they develop and nurture to be independent children. It has been great to see both my children build confidence in their surroundings and develop relationships and communication. Thank you to all staff for their hard work.

Our daughter has thrived since attending Halton (August 2019). She has grown so much in confidence, and my husband and I feel that she has been given some great tools to use when she starts school this September. The staff have gone above and beyond to work on developing her confidence levels, as well as supporting her to regulate her emotions.

I have found the staff helpful when approaching a difficult situation with my child. They were keen to work consistently with us as a family, offering helpful solutions. This allowed us to approach the situation in an initial mannor. It is helpful when they encourage the children to be independent whilst also providing guidance to help them succeed.

Spring has been such a wonderful part of our child’s life. The staff and their care for the children are second to none. Forest school has been wonderful for learning opportunities, and the activities the kids do both inside and out have provided so many fun ways for him to learn. We are so grateful for the support provided by both staff and management during his time at the setting and couldn’t recommend Spring enough.

Spring Nursery RAF Halton is excellent. However, it is a pity that the general state of the building detracts from the overall provision. The grass at the front of the nursery spent most of the year unkept and was long before being cut. Also, a window has broken in the main reception; it is made safe and no longer is a risk. However, cardboard now replaces it. The general fabric of the building is, in my humble opinion, tired.

My child started in Inventors in January, and I can’t thank the staff enough. He has come on in leaps and bounds in all aspects of development, and that is thanks to the staff and the effort they put in to ensure a diverse learning environment. Forest school is a fantastic learning experience as well as the ducklings and butterflies the children have seen in the nursery over the last few months. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone, the staff are what make it, and we are definitely lucky in Halton to have them.
