Busy Bees Cookham Road, Maidenhead

I absolutely love this nursery and my daughter always returns home happy and content. My daughter is now one and currently in the baby room. The staff are amazing!!! Always positive and attentive- not sure how they do it!!!. I have instantly seen the positive impact on my child's development. I feel confident that when I leave my child that she is being left in caring and capable hands!!

Since the summer of 2018 there have been some major step changes in the culture and appearance of the nursery. Communication is now frequent and timely and as parents, we feel fully engaged in the nursery’s journey. My son has taken part in some excellent activities such as a theatre trip and nativity play, that have not been available before. The pre-school staff are friendly and focused on the children’s learning especially with the introduction of the library to the nursery. The recent re-decoration now makes the environment feel so much cleaner and brighter for the children. My son loves his days at Cookham Road and has certainly flourished during his time here!

I am very happy with the care provided and the standard of learning and think all the staff and management are doing an amazing job.

My children attend this nursery from the last 2.5 years and I must say, since new management took over the nursery improved so much in every way, such as food nutrition, staff (now they know what to do and where to focus), children are much calmer and much more keen to learn and play activities for their group age, internal layout is now much more attractive and friendly.

The management changed so much in the last 6 month making the nursery so so much better, well done!!!

My son is now in the preschool room and I am really happy with the care and teaching he is receiving. He is really gaining in confidence and enjoys the varied activities and opportunities for learning. He has good relationships with the staff and other children and really enjoys his time at nursery.

My child has been attending since the start of September and has settled in beautifully. She loves going and that is a huge comfort to me as her parent. The staff are so friendly and welcoming that my daughters face lights up whenever she sees one of her key workers. She has bonded with many of the staff there and talks about them fondly at home. Her development has been noticeable since she started. The staff talk to me about her behaviour and growth at home and have implemented some of the tasks I do at home at nursery too to reinforce what I am doing. The activities and learning provided is varied, fun, age relevant and gives good life skills. The food is healthy, varied and given at proper time intervals. I want to thank the staff for their efforts with my daughter as I have seen improvements in her speech, confidence and behaviour. She’s been on a trip to the theatre, had photos taken by a photographer and took part in the nativity. Just a few of the fab things my child has done since starting

Our grandson has been going to Busy Bees for about a year now. We were invited along to a grandparents' stay and play session at the beginning of October. We were greeted and shown to a room for refreshments before joining the children for our playtime together. We have got to know the staff very well and they are excellent. They are very friendly and you can see that they all care very much for the children. We had a nice time with our grandson and the other children in the older baby room. The shame was that apart from 2 mums and an aunt, we were the only grandparents to attend. It was a great chance to see the children at play and it was a pity that more grandparents did not make the effort. The nursery manager is making great efforts to improve facilities in the nursery and it shows. The things that unfortunately cannot be changed are the limited natural light and the size of the outside play area. I must once again mention that the staff are brilliant. Well done girls.

My daughter has been attending the nursery for 7 months now and I have always been pleased with her progression and the nursery staff care, however, the last month or so I have been so impressed with how much positive change there has been in both the management and just the way the nursery is looking. We had sports day yesterday and it was a brilliant idea to do it offsite to encourage the kids to gain more confidence in being in a completely different environment, more so for the kids that are moving onto school this Sept. It was also a great opportunity to meet some of the other parents who we barely see and got to speak to the staff on a more informal level. I thank the staff for how well they look after my daughter and how much they interact with her. She has come on a lot in the last few months and that is all thanks to you guys. I hope there will be more things for parents to get involved in over the course of the 2nd half of the year.

Both of my children have attended the nursery. My eldest has just left for school after four years it was a very sad day to say goodbye. The team in the Pre School have been wonderful and my little boy has started school with so much confidence. My two year old has just moved to Toddlers and is absolutely loving it.

I am very pleased with the care provided at this nursery. The staff are friendly, supportive and caring. My child really looks forward to her time at the nursery and talks enthusiastically about the activities she does and talks warmly of her carers.

Overall good. Disappointed with change to Busy Bees and some changes implemented. Would like more outside time.

Overall I am very happy with the nursery and feel the staff make the environment a safe learning area for my child.

I am a mum of 2yr 4month old son who attends nursery and is in the toddler room.

He enjoys the nursery and activities there. He loves the staff and staff love him back and gives him cuddles every morning at drop off as he still feels upset sometimes.

I really appreciate the efforts and care the staff provides to my son.

Our little baby is having a great time learning lots and communicating with staff and other children. Her confidence has grown and she is a very happy little girl.

My only concern is the outside space and play-time, if the church has mass they can't play outside. Also, since the menu has changed, children don't seem to enjoy food as much.

Wonderful nursery. The children always come first and the staff are very knowledgeable and pleasant. My son always comes home very happy with lots of exciting things to tell me. The staff always give me detailed information at the end of each day. I would instantly recommend the nursery to others.

Positive Steps is a great nursery. My grandkids enjoy it and the manager is very helpful and kind and so are all the staff. I would recommend this nursery to all my friends and family. Positive Steps is a fabulous nursery.
