Tigers at Theale Day Nursery

My daughter has attended the nursery for over a year now and both myself and her absolutely love it. She started off in the baby room where she grew amazing relationships with all the staff and her confidence started to grow. I was quite nervous about her moving to the next room as she is a very sensitive and nervous young person but with visits and getting used to the new routine, she is talking a lot more and learning more things. Her favourite things are the weekly Hartbeeps session and the sensory room.

Lovely friendly nursery with great staff. My little boy has been coming to this nursery for a while now and he has become more confident. He is learning so much from coming to this nursery like counting, singing songs and interacting with other children and adults. Myself and my partner would recommend this nursery to all our family and friends.

The staff are incredible, enthusiastic and care so much about the children. There are great activities for the children and our son is always thrilled to get to nursery and has the best time there. I’m particularly impressed by the regular updates and delicious food they get.

All the staff are so friendly in all the rooms and I have had no issues with this nursery. My son is even coming to the nursery in September 2019 this is how much I recommend it 10/10. I think the manager is excellent, she always helps me if I have any questions.

We love Tigers! Our little one has been going since September 2018 and the experience has been absolutely fantastic. Staff are brilliant and the standard of care is exceptional.

The staff are amazing and deal with his (at times challenging behaviour) well. My son's key carer makes a special effort to talk to me about his behaviour and techniques they have been using which I can use at home. The new rooms are great and the activities provided are brilliant. My son comes out with new things every day which he has learnt at nursery. I feel the pre school room are preparing them for school well by encouraging independence and basic literacy and numeracy skills using activities based around play. The staff are also very caring so it's great to know my son can have a cuddle if he needs one. The Iconnect system works well and it's good to see what my son had eaten or been up to throughout the day! The management team are very approachable and are quick with responses to my questions or queries. This nursery is fantastic and my daughter will also be attending when I return to work.

We are so happy that we chose Tigers and we feel relaxed knowing she is well looked after and that she is developing well with all the fun activities she does there. So much so, that we have already signed up our 5-week old for her place when I go back to work!

My son attends nursery since he was 13 months old. All members of staff are very friendly and helpful. He is always happy there. They have lots of play and learning activities.

My daughter has been at Tigers since she was 12 months old (she’s now 3). She has always enjoyed her days at nursery and it is clear that the skills she is taught transfer to home. She’s become a confident learner and even came home speaking French recently! Any minor incidents are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner. I have no doubt that she will be ready for school and that is thanks to the staff at Tigers.

Could not wish for a better place for my son to attend. He has come on leaps and bounds with help from the great staff here. I love the fact they take the children out on walks etc. It’s such a friendly, welcoming, lovely environment for both me and my son.

We were dubious about having our 6-month-old at nursery 2 days a week but this nursery and their staff made the transition much easier for us. With our child's dietary requirements, they have worked around them and we are always happy to see him come home happy after a day here!

He comes home singing and dancing and full of stories about his day. The staff are warm and friendly, keeping us up to date and showing an interest in us as a family. They helped him prepare for the arrival of his baby sisters earlier this year. His favourite things about nursery are breakfast, the bubble room, music class, his friends and all the staff.

Tigers is an amazing nursery with very hard working staff. My daughter can be a handful but Tigers have helped her learn to play nicely with others and I believe she is advanced for her age which Tigers have definitely had an input with.

Our daughter attends Tigers at Theale Day Nursery three days a week since she was 8 months old and she really loves it there. She has thoroughly enjoyed interacting with all the other children and has formed close bonds with a number of the staff there. We like the app which gives us up-to-date information on her daily activities and regular progress reports as well.

The food seems to be varied and wholesome and the children do a huge range of activities. But most importantly, we feel confident going out to work knowing our little girl is safe and happy. And she always seems very cheerful when we go to collect her!

I would very highly recommend this nursery. They have been amazing to my 2 children and my family over the last 5 years. The business has clearly improved since the nursery has changed management, and the staff seem much happier, which shines through. My children love this place!

I would highly recommend this nursery to all parents, they are fantastic and best of all my children are excited every day to go there and that gives me great happiness, so credit to the team. The accounts staff are also great and work with you, always been helpful and professional. Ladies keep up the good work.

I absolutely LOVE Tigers Day Nursery Theale and so does my son! Not only am I the fussiest of mothers but my son is the clingiest, velcro baby - so the fact we both love the nursery is really saying something! My son started nursery at 11 months and is now 17 months and in the 6 months he has been there he has made so much progress. He started in the Baby Room and has now moved up to the next room "Ladybirds". The manager at Theale is so approachable and always available to discuss anything in person, via email, or telephone. Further, all members of staff I have encountered show a real love for the children and great patience and understanding. The nursery offers lots of activities and experiences both onsite and offsite - my son's favourite activities are going in the sensory room and weekly Hartbeeps sessions. I feel very confident leaving my son at Tigers Theale safe in the knowledge that he is having an amazing time, being well cared for and being encouraged to develop his skills.

The only two things that let this nursery down is parking (it can be tight at times) and breakfast choice and food order (hot food for lunch and cold food for dinner. The only option for breakfast is cereal).
