Abacus Nursery

The Abacus team are fantastic. They have been so supportive when helping with my daughter's severe constipation issues. They take the time to listen and they really do care. My daughter has been at Abacus just over a year now and she loves it. She always says she has fun and has fostered wonderful bonds with the staff.

My daughter has been at Abacus since she was 9 months old (now 3 years) and my son has been here for 5 months. They both love it and love the staff.

My daughter is clever and good with her speech and knowledge which I feel a lot is down to her time at nursery. They go on outings and are always doing a variety of things at the nursery. I have recommended to friends and plan to keep both of my children here until they go to school.

The cost has recently gone up which makes it more expensive than other comparable nurseries.

I cannot praise Abacus Nursery enough for the care, effort and hard work that goes into their setting.

My daughter started in September when I went back to work. She took a little time to settle and staff were amazing, both supportive and helpful with both of us! My daughter loves her time there, from being in the garden, to the arts and crafts and many other activities on offer. I really do feel that she has flourished here and often recommend this setting to friends.

All staff are helpful, kind and proactive and if ever I have a question or concern it is answered immediately, often with follow up advice too.

Abacus has been amazing for our little girl. She's gained a lot of confidence and learns new things every day. The staff are incredibly friendly and warm, which reflects in how the children interact with them all. The outdoor space is one of the other main reasons for us choosing Abacus as it's big and full of fun features. Our little one comes home with creations, a full tummy and a smile on her face!

Lovely wonderfully caring staff. Well organised. Good activities and facilities. Invoicing a little complicated and confusing (from head office) on occasion but good communication in resolving any issues. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

My son is nearly 4 now and since he was 6 months, he had been to a number of nurseries, all across the UK.

My son gets the best of the best care and education from Abacus Nursery and I, as a mother, receive my 'Peace of mind', knowing that my son is in good hands.

Abacus Staff always show that simple gesture of heartfelt warmth, to their children which make Abacus Nursery so special. Abacus staff members are very keen to accommodate special requests from parents.

My son has developed significantly, in all areas like awareness, behaviour, physical and emotional development, since he started going to Abacus. He is learning French as well. I am extremely pleased with his overall development.

Last but never the least, when I go to collect my son at the end of a busy day, I always find him happy, chirpy, satisfied and that speaks for itself !

Overall a good place to have your child, slightly dear, but worth it.

The menu is varied and offers a balanced diet.

My little boy has been attending for 2 1/2 years now and we have always been very pleased with the attention he receives. The nursery is well organised with good fresh food provided on site. He is encouraged to take party in a range of stimulating and challenging activities. He enjoys attending nursery and as an only child we believe his behaviour and progress has been improved from his attendance at Abacus.

The view of the day via email helps to understand the children's day and make parents feel more involved.

Lots of activities and outdoor time means he is always shattered at the end of the day.

The food looks good, and they always manage to get him to eat far more vegetables than he does at home!

I love the end of day updates, and there are lots of opportunities to go and see the kids do performances or organised play times which I love.

Will definitely be putting his younger sibling in at Abacus.

My son has attended Abacus since he was eleven months old and since that time, he has always enjoyed going to nursery. He enjoys all of the activities and learning provided at Abacus and the amount of attention and care our child gets from the staff is excellent. The staff are great and are all very approachable and willing to help. He is doing extremely well in his development and I would absolutely recommend Abacus.

My daughter will be leaving Abacus for school next month. She has been there from 9 months old as will be very sad to leave. She enjoys the company, activities and learning and the changes implemented to the outside and freeflow space are a real improvement, along with the addition of trips such as the rugby tots tour etc have been a real value add.

We love the varieties of activities and the amount of attention and care our child gets from the staff. She gets all the support she needs to develop new skills and to learn more about the world which is a great help for us. She is happy to go the nursery each day.
