Lower Earley Day Nursery (formerly Yellow Brick House) is housed in a low-rise, bright and airy building with enclosed, secure outdoor space in Chalfont Park.

The nursery provides full day care for children aged three months to five-years-old and is rated 'Good' by Ofsted in July 2018. The all-inclusive package will suit busy working parents; nursery fees include nappies, wipes, creams for nappy and sun protection, meals and formula milk.

The nursery's large outdoor play area is accessible directly from the nursery rooms, allowing all children to choose whether they play inside or outside.

The Nest is suitable for children aged three months to two years and there are 2 further age groups for children aged two to five years old.

Lower Earley Day Nursery provides childcare on a full and part-time basis.

The nursery promotes active learning in the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and the children take part in Boogie Mites (dancing, singing and more). Children are well prepared for their transition to school through the School Readiness programme.

We couldn't be happier with our son's development, we were worried about his lack of speech when he joined and he has learnt so much and become a little chatterbox. He is always happy going in, and the staff make such an effort for him to feel welcome.

My son has attended since April and he settled in so well and so quickly thanks to the amazing staff! They are always quick to update us and ask questions about any transitions such as if we were happy for him to move onto cow's milk once he turned one. They do daily group activities such as cooking,
sensory play and painting and always share lovely photos. They clearly communicate any targets they are working on and the app lets us know which yummy meals they have eaten that day. Highly recommend!

I cannot speak highly enough of The Lower EarleyDay Nursery. The staff have made a remarkable effort in supporting each child's individual growth and development. It is clear that they are committed to helping children become confident, capable preschoolers who are well-prepared for the next stage of
their learning journey setting them on a strong trajectory which will continue through their education.
What truly stands out is the team's genuine interest not just in the children's time at nursery, but in their overall well-being. The staff often go above and beyond by offering helpful parenting advice and support, which shows how deeply they care about each child's life beyond the nursery setting.


The most comforting part of the day is pick-up time. You are greeted by childcare professionals who clearly enjoy spending time with your child. Their warmth and enthusiasm are genuine, and it's incredibly reassuring to know that your child is not only well cared for, but also truly value

Since our child's first day all staff members made us all welcome. Our child is always wanting to go to Nursury in the mornings and since attending has come on a lot in their development and continue to encourage that development. The activities are documented frequently on the app and it often involves
exciting activities which aren't always easy to replicate at home. E.g. painting. As parents we feel this Nursury is a safe environment and there are good safe guarding practices implemented giving us peace of mind when sending our child into Nursury.

Lower Earley Day Nursery is quite simply the best nursery around. The staff care for every child that comes through the doors with such kindness and foster a love of learning, curiosity and creativity in each child they teach. Both my boys have been to this nursery and have learnt so much through the
varied creative curriculum they offer. Also both my boys have loved going to the nursery and we, as a family, are going to miss the staff and the nursery very much.

We're glad we found such a nice nursery for our 1-year-old daughter. She does fun activities and learns every day and we are always updated on everything she does. The staff is very professional and they serve healthy homemade food. We definitely recommend it, we know our daughter is in good hands.

My son has attended the nursery since May 2024 and he is so happy there. The main staff in the Nest do a brilliant job. They are informative at collection and ensure that me and my wife are kept up to date with anything we need to know. Our son goes three days a week and just having the reassurance

Lower Earley Day Nursery is a fabulous place. My son has been going since May and is very happy and settled there. He enjoys all activities, likes all the staff and generally has a brilliant time. The staff are very informative and will always tell me how his day has been and how he's eaten/slept/played.
The staff in the nest are a credit to the Nursery and work extremely hard to keep children happy, focused and learning. They've played a huge part in my son's development and character.

Our little girl has been at Yellow Brick Nursery for nearly a year now. Joined when was 1 year old. The staff are extremely friendly and very supportive. Especially as our daughter has been suffering from eczema. The staff have been very good at communicating between each other and in following her
dietary requirements as she is dairy and gluten-free at the moment.
I really feel that they care for the kids there. Every time we pick her up she is very happy and we can see on a weekly basis how much she is improving socially and emotionally.
They are helping our daughter with all the daily routines like washing hands, potty training, eating on their own etc.
Overall we can see a huge difference in our daughter since she has attended. I would definitely recommend them!

Our son has attended this nursery since he was 13 months old and he is now over 2 and a half. Whilst it has had many changes of staff in that time, I feel as though the standard of care has always been exceptional. He absolutely loves going to nursery and his vocabulary and communication skills have
improved so much! He comes home with all sorts of stories and a huge smile on his face. Particular mention to two members of staff who have recently come in to manage the nursery - they are natural and warm practitioners with so much experience and always put our minds at ease as first-time parents. They've dealt with conversations around behaviour and given feedback in the most professional and reassuring way - we could not ask for more. Thank you to everyone at Lower Earley for helping us raise our son!

My daughter improved her communication, social and all together skills since she joined the nursery.
It’s not an easy investment for us but it’s definitely worth it as it’s also absolutely necessary for the growth and the proper development of a child.

I was terrified of getting my daughter in nursery but she settled really well. Very friendly staff, everything provided from nappies to food. My daughter coming home happy and clean. They do lots of interesting activities and my daughter learning a lot, she started to speak better as well. They take
them out in the garden, using an app where everything I need to know is, including pictures. I'm really happy with them and the most important thing for me is to know that she's happy.

All the staff here is very nice. My boy joined the nursery in May, the staff here helps him self develop, from crying everyday (at least 2 weeks) to become enter the nursery with big smile!

My son has been attending this nursery since the start of the year and it has been a fantastic experience. Staff are friendly, kind, and willing to work with any problems we've had such as dietary issues - it's been so great to see him enjoying himself with his peers after such a quiet, Covid-filled
start to life before he started nursery.
The location is wonderful and it's so nice to see all the kids in a proper garden, and being next to the park means it's just a nice place to be compared to most other nursery locations. Like all parents we were quite nervous to have to go back to work but he always has a smile on his face at the end of the day.

Fabulous nursery, my daughter thoroughly enjoys every day she’s there. Her confidence has grown massively since starting nursery. The staff are very knowledgeable and supportive of the children and will do anything they need to to make the children comfortable and happy.
My daughter has learnt so
much since starting in January, and we are looking forward to carrying on her education next year.

My daughter started in July. She’s currently 23 months old and I was so so nervous about her starting Nursery! She runs in really excited to start her day there and I always pick her up with big smiles and a happy girl. I can tell she loves it and she gets excited to go.
Her diet requirements haven’t
been an issue at all and she’s eating and drinking so well and developing a lot since she started. There are really good routines within the nursery which fit perfectly around my daughter and from what I’ve experienced, she hasn’t had one upset day! The manager is really accommodating and helpful, and the staff in my daughter's nursery are so kind and informative about her day. My daughter loves the outside and I love how much they get to play out in the garden and I love the activities.
The Family app and how constant the updates are is really good! I love knowing what she’s eaten, how much she’s had to eat and drink and the pictures throughout her day! Definitely recommend.

Could not recommend Lower Earley Day Nursery enough. My daughter struggled to settle to begin with and the staff went above and beyond to help her transition. Nothing is ever too much for them, they are all so lovely and are so personable. They know my daughter so well and are great are communicating
her development milestones and areas for progress. Really reassuring for me as a working mum. They provide a wide range of activities and my daughter thoroughly enjoys them all.

Very good nursery. All the staff are very friendly and professional. They are very good with allergies. Lots of activities to keep the children entertained. Lots of story times and different lessons to learn. Would definitely recommend this nursery.
