Northumberland Day Nursery

My daughter has been attending since March 2018. She has settled in really well and loves all the staff, which she calls her friends and also gets on well with the children. She has come really far with her drawing and especially likes the reading and dressing up corner. The staff keep parents well informed of daily activities. I also attended this nursery as a child and would highly recommend it!

My daughter joined nursery March this year, she settled extremely quickly and enjoys going to nursery and seeing her friends. So has learnt so much, and every day learns something new. Especially when practising numbers, letters, shape, colours.

If my boys are upset they know how to cheer them up.

She loves cuddles and the staff are very happy to be giving her lots.

Very good nursery. Staff are excellent. They are really welcoming and show great care. My daughter has so much fun and she progresses a lot.

My son has been attending Northumberland Day Nursery since he was 10 months old and just like any other first-time mum I was initially apprehensive and nervous about my son commencing day nursery. 14 months later my son who still attends the nursery is developing and progressing well; so well that his first-word was his key worker's name! The line manager and nursery key workers are fantastic. They are genuinely affectionate and caring when it concerns my son. I admire Northumberland Day Nursery staff and the hard work that they do. I would highly recommend Northumberland Day Nursery to any parent considering daycare for their kids. :)

All staff friendly, approachable and incredibly helpful. My daughter absolutely loves the nursery and is thriving in the atmosphere. Only criticism is with admin at Head Office had several problems regarding payments. Huge improvement in management recently.

All in all an outstanding nursery. If I really need to say what to improve, it would be the curriculum for preschool.

My son has loved the nursery and all the staff. He has been here for 3 years and he has developed well and surprises me every day with the with the things he has learnt. The staff are all fabulous and I'm more than happy with their care.

I have had good experience so far with Northumberland Day Nursery. I particularly like the activities that my son is engaged into, like the lovely drawings and paintings. The nursery is kept clean and well organised. I am updated about his food and routine every day, which is quite nice. It is a good nursery and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it to others.

Both of our children have attended or are attending the nursery. Staff are great and always enthusiastic. It's a smaller nursery and we like that all the staff know all the kids. The outside space is great (including a covered sandpit and the outside patio under a roof). The nursery is very accommodating of dietary requirements. They have recently introduced a new portal that allows parents to see photos and reports of the children's activities which is great.

The staff are very kind. The facilities are good. The children seem to like being there.

This nursery is fine for my daughter as this one is quite near to my home, that way it's handy. Staff in the nursery are helpful and I don't have any issues so far. It's fairly clean. Extended hours are quite helpful for both the working parents.

The staff are very good. My daughter is very happy.

Both my children attended NDN. They both loved French lessons and Great Little Movers. They built close bonds with all the staff that cared for them. Everyone was extremely likeable, caring and understanding. My children loved their time at the nursery singing, dancing, playing, messy play. Staff were always very helpful. The rooms have lots of suitable toys, each month a new book was picked and the activities themed to it. Great nursery.

My son attends Northumberland nursery and I cannot recommend them enough, the team are all fantastic and have helped my son grow not only emotionally but academically as well, he loves it here and has always been made to feel at home nothing is too big or too small for any staff and I am always reassured about any worries I have surrounding my son be it at home or nursery, his key worker there is fantastic and always on hand to update me of anything he has done be it naughty or good, I would highly recommend this nursery and can only say thank you to them which doesn't feel enough sometimes for all the help they have given me and my son.

NB - I have only put satisfactory against "value for money" purely because I always want to pay less for things!!! Their costs are reasonable!

My daughter went to Northumberland back in September. I was very happy with the nursery staff. They were all very welcoming to me and my daughter. Yes she was unsettled for a few weeks and deep down she was happy. I am very happy with this nursery and would recommend this nursery to anyone out there looking to put your child in a day care nursery.
