Busy Bees Holme Park Day Nursery, Reading

We were so nervous about starting nursery, but Busy Bees made it such a positive experience for our daughter.

We have seen huge development in her confidence, speech, eating habits and social skills in just one year. The activities are so creative, the rooms are always clean and safe, and we love the daily updates and photos on the app.

Thank you to the entire Busy Bees team for giving my daughter such a loving, safe and stimulating environment to learn and grow.

Holme Park is a brilliant place for your child's care. The staff are personable, charismatic and enthusiastic. Nothing is too much trouble for parent or child. The way we have seen our eldest progress during his time there is testament to the nursery and all their efforts. We can't wait to watch our second child flourish at Holme Park.

We have sent both our children to BusyBees now and have been so impressed with the entire team and the setting. Busy Bees offer children such a supportive environment in which to grow and develop. The communication is great, with staff reporting very quickly. We have lovely conversations during drop off/pick up which are very personal and informative. We know how our children are progressing and regularly get clear indications of areas for development. Both our children have a tendency to be quite anxious but the entire team are warm and friendly, offering a safe home from home. Children's physical and emotional needs, and that of the parents are always considered and thought of. Staff are extremely creative with the activities they create and offer to children. This is a lovely little nursery with such a strong sense of community.

Our daughter has been attending this nursery for the past seven months, starting just before her first birthday, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff are caring and attentive, and it's clear they genuinely take the time to get to know each child as an individual.

The nursery provides a great balance of stimulating activities and outdoor play, keeping her engaged and happy throughout the day. We receive regular photos and updates, which we really appreciate, as it helps us feel connected to her day.

She also naps really well there and enjoys all the food they provide, which gives us great peace of mind.

Overall, it's an excellent nursery and we feel very lucky to have found such a supportive and nurturing environment for our daughter.

We were very nervous sending our twins into day care. I have to say from our initial visit and from the twins starting, we knew this would be the best place for them. All the staff have been very welcoming, kind and loving. The space at the nursery and car park is open and has a good access. The twins love going into the nursery and always happy at pick up time. I feel very comfortable they are in safe hands. The learning for my twins has been exceptional. My son went from not saying many words to now singing nursery rhymes and counting numbers. My daughter has started sentences and they both communicate very well. The cleanliness and may play options and interactive learning makes both the twins so excited.

My daughter has been going to Busy Bees Holme Park Day Nursery for two years now and loves it. The staff create a really safe and nurturing environment for the children - they really care about each child and get to know them all really well. There is lots of outdoor play, creative activities, reading, songs and more so, I know that she is having a fun-filled day whilst I'm at work. Would recommend this nursery.

The staff are so lovely and welcoming! I know they look after my little boy well. He looks forward to going to nursery and I get updates with how he's getting on which puts my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely nursery. The staff here are all very knowledgeable and friendly, helping to create a comforting atmosphere. Our daughter has been attending since she was 8 months old and loves going into the nursery, she eats well and enjoys all the fun activities provided.

An excellent nursery with great staff and long opening hours. The staff are friendly and engaged and our son loves going in every day to see his teachers and friends. As our son has moved between the different rooms he has really grown and developed in part due to the fun and safe activities provided each day. We cannot believe how well his phonics, self care and numeracy have progressed to get him ready for school. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.

The staff at Busy Bees create such a happy environment for the children. Our son very much enjoys going to nursery and we are confident he is safe and happy at Busy Bees. The nursery is a great size whereby it is not too large and noisy, however, there are plenty of children there so it is still very sociable.

My little one has been attending Treetops Holme Park full-time for 15 months and has been so happy there. She is thriving here and is a confident girl. They encourage her, she's safe there and loves going in. They do so many activities with them and you get photos and updates on the app (which makes my day while I'm at work). All the staff are also very friendly and they know the children well. I have recommended this nursery to two other families and their little ones love it there too. I get peace of mind knowing she's happy and that she's well looked after!

Our child is very happy there. They open earlier and stay open later than most other nurseries.

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees since Feb 2021 and absolutely loves it! It is amazing to see how she is growing and developing and gaining in confidence since she's joined. The staff are wonderful and very caring. My daughter is always looking for cuddles and they are happy to oblige! It makes such a difference knowing she is well cared for when she isn't at home and enjoys it so much she talks about the staff and her friends at home.

My daughter has been attending Holme Park Day Nursery now for 2 years and right from the settling in days at the start she has been very happy there. Staff and children all seem happy and there is a real closeness about the nursery. Staff are wonderfully supportive, caring, nurturing and kind. Our daughter raves about her teachers and she can't wait to return after the weekends away! Again the staff all seem to care about the children and their individual learning needs and developments which as parents, we are kept up to date with. Admin have been amazing to us as we have to organise our nursery days in advance due to shift work. Always supportive and communicate really well. The catering is also so wonderful. Fresh food made in house by a fab cook. Thank you.

My only wish would be for more extra curricular activities in the preschool room.

I can’t recommend this nursery more highly! My son attended from September 2020- May 2021 and the only reason he doesn’t still attend is because we moved too far away! My son loved his time here- first in the baby room and moving up to the toddler room. He made brilliant connections and relationships with all members of the team, not just his key worker or those in his room. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, he would run in and not give me a second glance! He was always happy and tired after a fun filled day here. He also came along leaps and bounds with his speech development and confidence. I would sometimes contact them with very little notice if I needed to put him in for an extra session and they always said yes, it was never too much trouble. Wish we could still send him here! We miss the nursery and team, loads!

I am really happy that we found Holme Park and we will be sad to say goodbye soon when my daughter will start school.

We are happy with the progress and development of our two. Both had joined right from the baby group.
