Funding & Fees
The nursery is open to all families who wish to use the service.
We have 3 options for attendance.
• Option 1 Combination of free* and paid hours for the 15 and 30 hours funding stretched over 51 weeks = 11 or 22 hours free per week with all other hours charged for, based on a 10-hour day. Minimum attendance of two days per week. A month’s deposit is required, and fees are charged monthly in arrears.
• Option 2 All hours are paid where children are not eligible to receive funding, based on a 10-hour day. Minimum attendance of two days per week. A month’s deposit is required, and fees are charged monthly in arrears.
• Option 3 Free hours only* for the 15 and 30 hours funding = 11 or 22 hours free per week for 51 weeks per year with no charge made for this attendance and no deposit payable.
• 15 hours = 11 hours. 5.5 hours free on days one and two between the hours of 9.30am-3.00pm.
• 30 hours = 22 hours. 7.5 hours free on days one and two between the hours of 9.00am-4.30pm and 7 hours free on day three between the hours of 9.00am-4.00pm.
All attendance is over the 51 weeks that we are open. We do not offer term-time only places.
There is a 9.5% discount for full time attendance of 5 days per week. A 9.5% sibling discount is offered against the eldest child's fees.

My daughter has been attending Little Dragon Nursery for the past three months, and I'm really pleased with how well she has settled in. From the very first day, the staff have been welcoming, patient, and genuinely caring. They took the time to understand her personality, her routines, and what helps her feel comfortable, which made the transition so much easier for both of us.
The communication has been excellent, we receive regular updates about her day, activities, and progress, which gives me real peace of mind. It's clear that the team put a lot of effort into creating a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Overall, I'm very happy with Little Dragon Nursery so far. I would happily recommend it to other parents looking for a caring and supportive setting for their child.

This is an amazing nursery. We've had the pleasure of having kids here since November 2021 and will soon be sending our last off to school - it is going to be sad saying goodbye to such a wonderful place and a great chapter in our lives. From the first day the staff have been kind, caring, friendly and so, so good with the kids. It definitely says something about a place when your child grumbles about not being able to go to nursery at the weekend to see their friends and have fun! Thank you to everyone there for looking after the kids as well as you have. It makes it that little bit easier leaving them for the day when they are so happy to be there.

We have used this Nursery from 2019 onwards for two different children, and have never had any concerns about the staff's ability to care, make wise decisions for the welfare of our kids, act with compassion and provide a healthy environment. There seems to be a wonderful feeling amongst staff who all appear to enjoy their job, are always courteous and who my children are always happy to go to. I can think of many of examples of things that have been arranged at the nursery that have showed how much the staff (managers included) want the best for our children and truly love them. There is a lovely feeling of family when you drop off your child. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Nursery to others.

I was concerned regarding him starting nursery at only 2 years old, but the manager and her team have been so welcoming and warm. My son has taken a special liking to his key worker, the manager and his language development has flourished since starting.
The only suggestion I have would be perhaps giving an option for a halal menu, therefore my son can enjoy a wider variety.

Little Dragons has been a wholly positive experience throughout the time our children were at the nursery. At all times they have felt welcomed, safe and happy, thanks to the positive environment that the management and their staff have established and maintained. They have clearly developed - in terms of both their social skills and learning about the wider world - during their time at the nursery, and have become more curious and engaged about their surroundings with the support of the nursery and its staff. Management and staff provide extensive yet clear communications about what has happened with our children, what is happening in the wider nursery and how we can complement what the staff are doing in the nursery with our actions outside of it. Moreover, we have always appreciated the attention to detail when it comes to managing risks, and proactively looking to improve processes where necessary. We cannot recommend Little Dragons enough to potential parents.

Our daughter thrived at Little Dragons and came home every day with new skills, new stories, and a huge smile on her face. The activities are engaging, the environment is warm and welcoming, and communication with parents is excellent. We always felt informed, involved, and reassured.

My little boy recently started at Little Dragons and it has been a great experience. The staff are attentive and the daily feedback gives me an insight into his day which is appreciated. My son has been attending since August 2021 and will do until he leaves for school this September. He has always enjoyed attending Little Dragons. It's a great little nursery. The facilities are lovely and the staff are really friendly. My son has learnt so much coming to this nursery. Any minor problems that have arisen have been dealt with well by management. I would recommend this nursery to anyone. The only thing I would change would be the food offering and to perhaps have more than one option for the older children because if my child doesn't like something he will not eat it and he is not offered an alternative and will only eat vegetables for lunch some days.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since 1 year old. She will be starting school in Sept 2024. She has always been happy here. The staff are very attentive, helpful, happy, qualified and I have always felt confident leaving my child with them. They are good at communicating with parents. They are everything you’d want from a childcare provider. The facilities are very good. I cannot fault the nursery at all. I have visited other nurseries and my other children have attended different ones, but I have to say this is the best experience I have had. It’s run like a close family, the staff are close and look out for each other. They have a small staff turnover, my daughter knows all the staff by first name and they all know her too.

My daughter has only been attending the nursery for a few weeks but she seems to have settled in well. I can tell she really likes the girls and took to them straight away from our settling-in sessions. I am so glad that I decided to go for Little Dragons for my three-year-old daughter. She always goes and comes back with a happy smile and has no complaints about her nursery. She will say that her key worker has been very loving and caring. I think the way they let kids participate in things they are interested in helps boost their interest in learning new things and helps improve the skills that they already have. About the admin team, I would like to applaud them for getting back with email replies the very same day (every single time!). This is much appreciated as I have seen with other nurseries they can sometimes take 3-4 working days, which as a parent can be quite anxiety-provoking.
