Busy Bees Sandy, Bedfordshire has been awarded Good by governing body, Ofsted (March 2023). This beautiful one-storey nursery and preschool is located on a tree-lined drive in a quiet residential area of Sandy. They are located in the same grounds as Sandy Upper School and Community Sports College with their own self-contained entrance accessed by a gravel drive.

They enjoy good road networks and transport links for commuting parents including a bus stop serving Bedford and surrounding areas. Sandy train station with Great Northern services to Peterborough and London’s Kings Cross is a short 6-minute drive away.

Children at Busy Bees at Sandy enjoy a stimulating curriculum devised in line with the EYFS statutory framework. Rooms are bright and airy and enjoy a cosy home-from-home feel, designed to settle and relax babies and children into the nursery environment.

The passionate childcare team delivers a programme of activities and experiences to navigate children through key childhood milestones. From arts and crafts, messy play and sensory play to home corner and role play there’s lots to do to challenge enquiring minds.

Though fun is the order of the day every day they begin to gently introduce more structure in the preschool rooms and deliver the foundations you’d expect for lifelong learning – phonics, literacy and elemental mathematics plus key social skills to help your little ones become confident and independent.

My daughter recently started the nursery at nineteen months for two afternoons a week.
After emailing several nurseries in the area, Treetops was the first to respond and arranged a visit with the same week. All of the staff at the nursery are professional with excellent levels of communication. My
daughter has settled in, with no issues. She enjoys every session at nursery with clear evidence of her social and communication skills being developed. The nursery is a safe environment and one which I am very comfortable to leave my child and any future children - key worker to parent communication is outstanding.

Treetops Nursery Sandy is a home away from home. The facilities and the food provided for the children are excellent. The nursery is always clean and presentable. All the staff are genuinely lovely provide excellent care and support for the children. Children always seen happy and very well looked after.

My son has been attending Treetops Nursery Sandy since he was 9 months old, the staff have always been extremely helpful and extremely interested in his development. They go out of their way to help whenever they can and encourage parents to get included with theme days and open days. The biggest review
I can give is my son loves his time and the staff at nursery and looks forward to his sessions everyday.

All three of my children have attended Treetops Nursery Sandy and they have all loved it. Also my eldest children were extremely well prepared for reception year. Going to nursery with Treetops Nursery Sandy has made them very confident and outgoing. The staff at Treetops Nursery Sandy are very friendly
and welcoming. My youngest son loves it at Treetops Nursery Sandy it is the highlight of his morning. I have found Treetops Nursery Sandy to be very understanding and caring. The staff have been excellent with all my children. I can't express enough how good Treetops Nursery Sandy is.

My ratings below say it all. Visiting family in Sandy I went to see the Treetops nursery school. I could't believe what I was about to see. It was the most amazing nursery I had seen. Rooms are all sectioned off and each one telling a story for the little ones to learn from. So many things for them
to do, so they learn quickly.
Each room is a Disney land of colour. The staff know exactly how to look after the children. Their patience and understanding are a credit. It was lovely to join in on the children's sing songs with the staff, reminded me of my old days. I would recommend Treetops to all. I just can't praise them enough. I will go home with very happy memories.

My daughter has been coming here since one and is now in the preschool room. She loves coming to the nursery and enjoys the range of activities. She has made some really good friends and loves her key workers.

My son attends Treetops and when I pick him up he is always playing happily and settles well with the staff. Being at nursery has benefited him in that he is independently feeding himself and settles to sleep better than before. Staff are always happy and helpful.
