Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Oxley Park

We can tell our son is having a great time at Ashbourne Day Nursery and is always excited to go inside when the staff open door and greet him.

Our son has been attending Ashbourne Day Nursery, Oxley Park since he was 10 months old and we would highly recommend them. From the very first settling in session, they have all been so kind and patient. Now a toddler, I’m so impressed and grateful with all they do for him. The range of planned activities, outdoor playtime and lovely choice of on-site cooked food is brilliant. We are so grateful to them for providing a safe, secure and happy place for our son.

My little boy is 4 and has been attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries since he was 10 months old. We are extremely pleased with the nursery and the best way for us to gauge the level of care is the smile on his face when he enters and sees a member of staff each morning. The employees at the nursery know each child by name regardless of which room they are working in and it is nice to see the same faces that were there when he was a baby are still working there 3 years later. We know that he is thriving at the nursery by the facts, arts and little stories that he talks to us about each evening. I would recommend this nursery to any of my friends.

Our older son is already attending the nursery and has been for over 3 years and we had no hesitation in sending our next baby to the nursery when he was 11 months old. Even with the Covid-19 restrictions meaning we were restricted in how much time we could spend with our baby in the room to conduct the settling-in times, the process of settling our baby was very successful. It is a difficult time to send a baby to nursery and the staff at Ashbourne were great at making him feel welcome and settling our emotions. They got to know our baby's character quite quickly and take the time in the evenings to tell us about his day. The updates on the app are great and give us peace of mind that he is happy during the day. It is really nice that the same key person is responsible for our baby that was responsible for his older brother when he was a baby. Over the 3 years, the nursery has maintained its level of care and we are happy that our boys are in a safe and happy environment.

The nursery has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and the staff are fantastic, supportive and caring. My son loves the activities he takes part in and his learning and development is improving daily. He also comes home talking about the delicious food he has on a daily basis.

My 4-year-old started in the preschool room with Ashbourne at Oxley Park in late August 2020. I have been absolutely blown away with the place in all honesty. From the menu to the staff, his key person and the 'open door' approach from all staff but especially the manager and 3 members of staff in particular. My son is so happy there and is always coming home with details of his activities and adventures from that day. He settled very quickly and formed attachments to staff just as quickly. His needs for outside time is met regardless of the weather too, which was very important to me. Staff have bent over backwards to accommodate my son and his additional needs including his effortful swallow and the medication needed for that. I know he's safe, well looked after and loved. That for me is everything. Thank you girls so much.

Ashbourne Day Nursery at Oxley is a very good nursery. The staff are very lovely and dedicated to their jobs. Even during the pandemic, they worked tirelessly to provide a normal and fun atmosphere for the children. My daughter started attending the nursery when she was 9 months. She was very attached to me and I was very nervous about going back to work and leaving her at nursery. Fast forward 3 years later, my daughter is very happy at this nursery. She has blossomed into a confident child and I thank the lovely staff at this nursery for this. And now I am happy for my 6-month-old will be starting at the same nursery.

My daughter has been attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries since she was 2 and a half and is now in the preschool room. She loves going to preschool and I love hearing about all that she has done in her day. Be it painting, counting and her ABC to playing with babies and hairdressing. Being an only child, her interaction with other children is a big part of her development and to hear her talking about her friends and the ladies that are encouraging her to play with other fills my heart with joy. I also have to praise the team for all the extra hard work they have to do in these current times, to keep our babies safer than ever.

I'm a father of two children that have attended your Oxley Park nursery, one of which is still currently with you. Our son moved to first school September 2020 and his transition was made a lot smoother with massive support from the nursery send-co, she ensured the school knew everything there was to know about my son and that measures were put in place to make sure he settled with ease. Our daughter attended from September 2020 and couldn't be happier, she has settled well and is achieving beyond her age. On collection, the staff will give me a complete break down of her day with an added personal touch and not just your standard "been ok today". During the pandemic, the nursery have put their all into keeping the children and nursery safe and their standards have never faltered we are regularly updated about the changes in government guidance via social media, newsletters and Eylog which puts my mind at ease knowing my child is in a safe and secure environment.

My child has been attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Oxley Park since they were 9 months old. He loves going to Ashbourne, he has lots of friends and has good relationships with the carers. His learning and development has come on leaps and bounds and I believe this is due to the activities and teaching provided by the nursery. This year he will be leaving to start school. I believe the nursery has hugely benefited him and the social skills he has learnt will be a huge support when he leaves to settle into his new school.

Excellent care. Staff are amazing. Trust the staff completely and my son learns so much. Preschool really acknowledge his interests and build on these.

He’s done amazingly and his speech has come on since joining.

Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this nursery, they've been looking after my daughter since she was 1 year old and seeing her develop and have fun there is just great!

This nursery has been a godsend for me and my son. I have no words that could describe how amazing it has been, especially the manager. I will never forget how the team supported me and my son. He did well there, and I couldn't be happier.

It has been more than a yr now. I have seen my daughter growing in this nursery. The Ashbourne Day Nurseries is 2nd home for her. All the staff are very friendly and caring. She has joined in baby room it took some months for her to adjust but now I can say she has grown up to a very confident baby. She interacts with her friends, eats herself, communicates perfectly, expresses her desires, she is happy to be at nursery and what not. I am truly grateful to the Ashbourne Day Nurseries team for taking care of my child and making her so confident and strong. They perform various fun time activity games helping children to interact with each other. This is a fantastic nursery and it helped to build a strong foundation for my baby. I would recommend it to my fellow mates.

My daughter started attending this nursery as of the beginning of January. My daughter was a bit unsettled to start with, however the nursery were extremely accommodating and allowed my daughter to have extra settling in sessions to make sure she was completely settled in before starting which was amazing! My daughter settled in so quickly and now waves goodbye to me in the mornings. I receive frequent observations to let me know how she is getting on with her development and get daily diaries to show me what shes been doing during the day. When picking her up, I see her eating her meals with her friends which is lovely to see and I can see that they are given a balanced and healthy diet. They also offer so much messy play which my daughter loves! I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Both of my children attended this nursery and the staff are absolutely wonderful and made me and my children feel very welcome, When starting the nursery the staff settled my children into the routines of the nursery and my children loved coming every morning and loved all the staff. We used to struggle getting our son to eat meals but when he joined the nursery he enjoyed meals that the chefs there prepared. Unfortunately, we had to leave due to moving away but now we are coming back to the area and my son is really looking forward to attending the nursery again.

My son has attended Ashbourne day nursery at Oxley Park since he was 11 months old and he is nearly 3 years now, he loves attending the nursery and is always happy when he is asked about his day. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always easy to speak to. I feel as though my son is really thriving here.

There are a lot of activities for learning and varied fun activities. At 2, my daughter has learnt a lot, including counting 1 to 10, naming colours/animals and so much more. It is a place full of love, learning and lots of fun!
