Woodlands Day Nursery (Barnet)

I've been very pleased with Woodlands and the nursery care they provide for our daughter. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and this is reflected in the children's relationships with them. It has been good to see our daughter develop whilst at Woodlands and receiving regular updates via parentzone is a useful way to keep track of this. There always seems to be a range of activities that our daughter engages with each week which cover a good mix of education and fun. It is also good that children are encouraged to play in the garden space.

There is a good range of food provided for the children and they receive a balanced diet.

Shoe covers are provided for parents and the no shoe policy in rooms helps maintain a clean environment.

On a day to day basis communication between staff and parents is excellent and whilst there can sometimes be a delay with online communication, the weekly newsletter and email updates are much appreciated.

My experience with Woodlands Barnet has been 100% positive. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and really care about their work. My daughter loves being at nursery. The facilities are excellent and the activities are very varied and change regularly. The food is also excellent and my daughter always eats everything at nursery, even if she doesn't at home!

I placed my daughter at Woodlands, based on a recommendation from my sister (her son is also at the same) I must say I can't imagine her being anywhere else. It is difficult to find anything negative to say. Each and every member of staff has been approachable, professional, but most of all, very caring towards my daughter. It is so difficult going through such a transition where a mother goes back to work full time and has to put their (then 1-year-old) child into the nursery. However, the team made it so much easier. I always see that my daughter is happy and that makes me happy.

Our boys are extremely happy. It's a fantastic safe environment and all of the staff are lovely.

Our daughter is quite new to Woodlands. The settling in process was very helpful and well thought-out and after three months she is settled and happy - a relief to any parent! Woodlands is a great nursery with genuine, caring staff.

We would highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare - this is the best in Barnet without a doubt!

This is the most wonderful nursery. Our daughter has been at Woodlands for over 3 years and it has been a home from home for her. The staff all go above and beyond to make it the best possible experience for the children and the lo ve and care they give is second to none. Woodlands is an incredible nursery and a fantastic start for any child.

Since joining she has developed in so many ways academically and socially. Teachers are caring and approachable for parents and she loved them very much. The nursery provides fun and creative environment for kids.

Our son has visited Woodlands for about 3 years and is now leaving to start school. In this time he has grown from a small toddler to a self-confident and active child. Woodlands played a crucial part in this. Throughout his development, they have given outstanding support and a wonderful environment for him to grow. The staff are wonderful and our son developed deep relationships to all his key persons during the various stages of his time at the nursery. He always enjoyed going to nursery and is now leaving as a confident, active and happy school-ready child.

My son will be going to school this September and has benefited from the experienced staff at Woodlands who have helped with his preparation for his next step into a school environment.

The toys are both very happy and settled at Woodlands. The activities are varied and excellent for the children's development. It is a real family atmosphere. The food is all fresh and home-made - the boys love it!

My son has attended Woodlands Day Nursery (Barnet) since he was one and has received the highest level of care. The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much bother. My son has been in most of the nursery rooms and is known by name by all staff. He is happy to attend nursery, this is particularly pertinent as he has trouble settling into new environments. My son will be leaving nursery this July and I am truly saddened by this. Woodlands Day Nursery (Barnet) has given him the best start to his education I could have hoped for!

Overall we get a fantastic experience at Woodlands Nursery. The staff in ladybirds are so welcoming to both us and my daughter. My daughter has made excellent bonds with both her key carer and other members of staff. The staff genuinely take an interest in my daughter and everything she does. Overall a brilliant experience and an outstanding nursery.

Having had one child attend Woodlands we didn't want our second child to attend anywhere else. We had such a good experience, our daughter thrived and we wanted to repeat this with our son. It makes starting work again much easier knowing that he will be cared for by a great team.

The nursery is really good and is well liked by us and our child. The staff are really committed and go the extra mile.

Amazing! For my son, lots of great activities like drawing, glittering, playing outside, fun boards. Great food and snacks. The carers are all lots of fun on very friendly and helpful.

As a family unit, out first impression was that the nursery was well run and would provide our 2 year- 3-month-old grandson with all the comfort and learning that he would require, and we aren't disappointed. He has required many learning skills from the short time he has been at Woodlands. The staff come up with extraordinary innovative ideas to keep the children active and interested in what they are doing.

Woodlands Day Nursery is such a cool, fantastic place. A great choice from the start for my son. He enjoys every aspect of nursery life. The staff are so friendly and always welcoming any time of the day. I feel it's good value for money, you get what you pay for.
