Sutton Day Nursery is conveniently located in the town centre; a ten minute walk from both Sutton and West Sutton train stations. Nice nursery with friendly staff. Lots of toys and activities for kids. A tidy and clean environment with nice meals. My son loves the food here a lot. However, there are lots of staff leaving the next few months.

We chose Sutton Day Nursery not only because it is a five-minute walk from our house, but also due to all the fantastic facilities on offer there...soft play, dance, football, gymnastics...everything that a child needs to develop into a rounded individual.
I also like the small and family-like feel
of the nursery, somewhere I knew my son would be more than just a number.
Having trained and worked in childcare myself I've seen a lot of nurseries and Sutton Day Nursery is definitely among the best.
Since starting at Sutton Day Nursery, my son's development has come on leaps and bounds.
His speech and communication skills are excellent - at 18 months he knows all his body parts, can identify different fruits and is already counting.
His confidence has really soared thanks to the nurturing tendencies of the staff.

My daughter is two and a half and has been coming to the nursery since she was 9 months old. My daughter loves coming to the nursery and has a great relationship with all of the staff and people who look after her. Her development is very well monitored and I am always being told about all the different
activities she has participated in and things that she has learnt. Her key person ensures that her learning story is up to date and there are lots of photos in there for me to look at. The management team are always friendly and are really approachable. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter here and know that she is very well

It has been a great experience for my daughter. She has learnt so much from being social, eating independently, talking so much more, a great place for children's learning. A very good set of staff sets this nursery apart.
My daughter always looks forward to her nursery and meeting her friends and
teachers. They organise great activities for the children including dance and exercise, educational toys, dressing up games, sand play and painting. They keep all the newest toys ranging from happy land toys to baby prams, kitchen sets, play dough and a huge selection of books.
They offer great interaction for the toddlers with baby chicks which my daughter absolutely loves! They maintain a journal for every child which gives us parents great satisfaction on the progress of our little ones. They have a cute playground with all amenities and the children love to ride their bikes.

My daughter is has been here for last 3 years and the nursery is outstanding! The carers are very passionate about their work and my daughter has progressed so much in last 3 years.

My youngest child attended the nursery from five months until ready for starting reception. In these four years, my child attended the nursery I was very happy with the care and education my child received and feel she is more than prepared for starting reception thanks to the nursery and all the staff.

My son has been attending Teddies for several months now and has settled in very well due to the lovely and caring staff. We feel really comfortable that he enjoys everything there and we appreciate the updates and ad hoc activities (like when the farm animals were brought to the back garden one day!).

My son attended this nursery so it made sense for my daughter to attend too. Despite there being a few new staff members since my son attended, the standard of care for my daughter has been exemplary. Before attending the nursery my daughter wasn't the most extrovert but since she has been there she
is chatty, smiley and much more mobile and just seems generally happier overall. The feedback from the nursery is excellent with details provided of meals, sleep time etc which really put my mind at rest as my daughter isn't the best sleeper. The staff are always on hand to answer any questions and are knowledgeable without seeming unapproachable. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has now been attending the nursery for one month and seems very happy at drop off and when I collect her. The settling in sessions really helped her with the transition period and this was evident on her 1st full day at nursery. The staff are friendly and welcoming and really seem to take
an interest in my daughter. I receive a detailed handover at each session as well as feedback on her development and what they are working on next for her. The food is varied and nutritious and my daughter seems to really enjoy the choices on offer.
The facilities are of a good standard and spacious allowing my daughter to freely explore the environment as well as good resources that seem to be rotated regularly. Having had my son in the nursery for 3 Years I know that I have made the right choice of nursery for our daughter's care. Thank you for making the 1st month of my daughter's nursery life a positive one and we look forward to all that she is going to learn and achieve.

My neighbour recommended this nursery to me when I was looking for a place for my little boy and it has proven to be a very good choice. Staff at Bright Horizons Teddies Sutton Nursery and Preschool are friendly and professionally trained. The rooms in the nursery are clean, and each room has different
learning corners for children to explore. They do lots of fun activities and children are making friends there too. My son started in Baby Care and now he is in Pre-school, I can see he's been making a good progress on learning the letters, numbers, and animal names, etc. Well done Bright Horizons Teddies Sutton Nursery and Preschool.

My daughter has been attending Teddies Sutton for over 4 years and has worked her way up the nursery. I am really sad that she will be leaving in September to go to school as I know she will really miss going to Teddies seeing all the staff and children.
I know in the four years My daughter has been
at the nursery has learnt so much and feel it has really helped in preparing her for school. Also contributed in her kind and caring nature towards others always looking out for the other children in her group.
I would like to thank all the staff and management team for the great times at Teddies and for all the support and advice given. I know my daughter will miss everyone so much and so glad we choose Teddies Nursery and will always recommend to anyone looking for childcare. Looking forward to her graduation in August will be an emotional day.

My son has been at Teddies for over 2 years now and my daughter is just about to start there too, so we have experience of all age group rooms. I have been very happy with the nursery from the start. Their settling-in procedure is second to none and not only helps the child settle in but has also helped
put me as a parent, at ease.
All the staff are very friendly and caring and many of them have been there for years which really helps the children bond with them. My son often talks about his teachers and clearly feels at ease in the nursery.


Somebody commented on the chef and the great home-cooked food the children get. I definitely agree with that. But what I really think sets this nursery apart is the management who really do seem to put the children (and their staff) at the heart of the nursery and as a consequence Teddies feels like a home from home. I definitely would and have recommended this nursery to other parents.

Teddies in Sutton is an excellent nursery. My boy has been going there since he was six months old and now he is 26 months old. The staff work hard and are constantly looking after the needs of individual children as well as a collective group. The chef onsite is brilliant. They have they toys, activities
books and outside garden space needed for a good nursery. I have recommended Teddies to many friends and three of them send their children there. Best wishes.

My daughter has developed so much at Teddies. It's so nice to see how much she looks forward to going. Poppy adores her key worker and mentions her at home sometimes. I love all the activities that daughter has taken part in at Teddies. All the staff seem very dedicated and welcoming, and ready to answer
questions on any matter relating to my daughter.

We have been very happy with the nursery. To us this nursery feels like the highest standard of nursery in the area. The staff and also the management are so friendly and really seem to care about every child. We are particularly happy with the varied meals cooked onsite which are healthy and encourage
our son to try new things. We appreciate time to talk to the staff every day to chat about what they have been doing or any concerns, and also the parents evenings to keep us in touch and feel like we work together with the staff to develop our child. The learning journey books are filled with observations and photos for us to see what he gets up to. Little things like the nappies and wipes etc they use are leading brands and not economised on too. Most of all we feel it is a happy, safe environment that we can leave our child in without worrying about anything.

Both my daughters have attended the nursery my oldest is now 8 and at school but my youngest who is 4 attends preschool currently. I have been very happy with the care both my children received at Teddies Sutton both attending from 4 months old so have being using the nursery for a long time. I feel
the nursery has really helped them with regards to making friends and social interaction and also independence. The staff are all very caring and professional and would defiantly recommend the nursery to my friends.

Yasmin is the Nursery Manager at Sutton Bright Horizons and has worked in childcare for 10 years, starting as a Nursery Nurse and progressing to Room Leader, Third in Charge, and now Manager.


With a degree in Education and Early Childhood Studies at Roehampton University, Yasmin constantly pushes herself out of her comfort zone, seeking to learn more and develop her knowledge and understanding in childcare.


As a Manager, she achieves this by working alongside the rooms and helping with the running of the nursery.

I have 15 years of experience working in the Early Years Sector providing children with enriching activities throughout nurseries.


I love being in the rooms working alongside my team supporting them and helping them to widen their ideas for thrilling, educational activities. I believe that all children need new play ideas and games throughout the day to ensure they are continuing to learn and grow.
