I am very happy with my child's progress. St Mary's has a very "family" environment.
My child settled into the nursery very well and has made some good friends.
The nursery has improved and now looks much more like a nursery. I am very pleased with the new toys/educational games and equipment the
nursery have to help the children learn.

Whilst we have only been here for 2 months, I feel like we have known the team for years! My son settled happily from day 1 and this was down to the skill of the staff being able to know when to help him feel secure, and when to let him find his own independence in a new setting. The team keep us informed
on all aspects of his day and work with us to identify strategies that help his development and nurturing, in readiness for school. I have also been really impressed with the quality of teaching, as my son returns home with new and different skills every week - again fantastic preparation for school.
The outdoor play area is connected to the adjacent primary school and my son loves seeing the "bigger children" at play. It's also a nice introduction to "big boy school".
The food selection is excellent and I love that they attempt different dishes to broaden the taste experiences rather than just the usual staples although these are also accommodated for.
Would highly recommend!

From the moment you first walk into St Mary's, there's a great feel - a calm, caring and warm environment that feels completely safe and homely. From joining just after her third birthday, our daughter has gone from strength to strength and now looks forward to her nursery days - often returning home
bursting with stories about how much she has enjoyed her day - whether it's what happened at 'show and tell', what she had for lunch or the new friends she has made. The staff are all professional, kind and communicate very well with us each morning and evening. We have been nothing less than delighted with how she has settled in and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

My daughter's nursery has provided her with an excellent, secure environment to learn but not only curriculum learning - she has been greatly supported in learning about the world and other, social skills and social communication at it's best. For us parents, it has been great to feel the security that
our daughter is growing up with such excellent support and, most importantly, happily attending her nursery times. We are really thankful towards St Mary's Nursery and the staff, that confirms it.

Having visited several preschools in the area, St Mary's stood out by a mile and I knew from the very start that it would provide the perfect setting for my son. What struck me the most was their care, organisation and diligence in every aspect of the nursery, is from safeguarding, through to making
sure every single child's learning and development are tracked, and activities are planned specifically for that child throughout the week. As a result, my son has come on leaps and bounds, he is more confident, more social with other children, happier, and well prepared for his next milestone which will be school. The staff there are hard working and always friendly and welcoming, so I have absolutely no doubts about the care my son is receiving when I leave the premises. I will be really sad when his last day arrives at St Mary's. What a great Find!

My son went to this nursery as well as afterschool club and he enjoyed it. Currently, my daughter goes to the nursery for the whole day and she is very happy there. She looks forward to going everyday which tells me that she enjoys in the nursery and feels safe. The staff is excellent and they provide
first class care for the kids. Very happy indeed!

We have been attending the St Mary's Nursery for almost half a year now. Overall, we are happy with the development of our daughter during that period. She has developed her soft skills and has grown quite social. She enjoys going to nursery in the morning and seeing her friends in the nursery. She
enjoys her show and tell and the "home corner" where she dresses up.
The staff are very friendly and look after my dugahter, while at the same time, promoting independence.

Very pleased with the care our daughter receives at Asquith St Mary's Pre-School. All the staff are very competent and caring. The nursery is very bright and airy and has a good outside play area. The kids meals are healthy, nutritious and tasty and staff are careful about developing healthy food habits.
The atmosphere is very friendly. The staff work as a good team and having a low turn around helps as we get to see the same friendly staff every day which also helps with the continuity of care.

Our four-year-old grandsons love going to their small friendly nursery so much so that we struggle to get them to leave every day. Perhaps it is because of the guidance and the motivation given by caring and endlessly patient staff throughout the day or the range of impressive creative resources at
their disposal which has improved their numeracy and literature skills no end, or the range of healthy food options, or the relaxed warmth of the relationship between children and children and staff. Whatever it is, both boys are thriving in the environment and becoming more and more prepared for the next step up to school.

My child started at St Mary's in January 2015, I can sincerely recommend St Mary's in Twickenham to be one of the top daycare providers for pre-school children. I can make this statement because my child has attended a number of nurseries within this area and St Mary's has been one of the best. The
nursery setting is bright and has all the facilities needed for every child to thrive and develop.

The staff present themselves professionally and take great care in the care of each child ensuring he/she is happy and safe. The nursery has good security measures in place and is fully equipped to meet the child's development and milestone needs. They also provide a very healthy menu, full of variety and keep you informed about how the children are progressing. Excellent nursery.

Asquith St Mary's Pre-School has done a brilliant job preparing our son for primary school. The school has been so great and lovely with him - teaching him good manners, helping him improve his communication and social skills and ensuring his safety at all times. We've seen his amazing development and
confidence grow. The staff are so friendly, helpful and honest that we've had a great relationship with them too. We've always felt confident sharing with them our concerns and our son's achievements . We also work very well together on anything that can be improved on. We are extremely confident and happy with this nursery, so much so that we've already registered our 1-year-old daughter! we can't wait for her to join in 2018.

- Picked this form up to stress how lovely the team are and what a strong rapport they have built with the kids. Also love the welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for parents. Feel very safe leaving my son in their care.
- As kids approach school age I do wonder if there could be more work on phonics
and letter/number writing/correcting repeat mistakes.
- Sometimes the central team tries to be adventurous with food. Stick to the old favourites like roasts and spag bol rather than strong flavours like coconut/fish stew/seafood pasta with dill or new combinations. A balanced meal is important.

We have so much confidence in the capabilities of the staff at the day nursery that we have already signed up for my child's sister in 2017. Staff are all personable, helpful and considerate of her feelings whilst also helping her to progress. They create a strong bond with her and us, as parents, and
we feel she is well supported when we are at work, which is a great comfort. A day nursery of the absolute highest quality and a team of superstars! (Two particularly:))

We transferred our son to Asquith St Mary's Pre-School recently to support their preparation for infant school and noticed the positive impact on them almost immediately. Settling in couldn't have been easier, the boys confidence grew, all fees and administration has been organised and straight forward
and the staff fantastically competent and delightful to deal with. It has changed all of our daily lives for the better.

We are from The U.S. and were living in Twickenham for only a few months, but knew we wanted to enroll our 4 yr old somewhere so she could have some structure, play with kids her own age and continue with some curriculum. We attended an open house at St. Mary's and fell in love with it right away! The
staff were so incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. They made us feel right at home, constantly kept us updated about the day, and worked with us diligently whenever we or our 4 year old needed extra help. The school itself is set up so perfectly, with a wonderful outside area for play, learning, creating and bicycle riding. Inside the room is divided into learning stations that the kids can choose to work from, or play stations they can play in. Our 4 yr old would come home with stories of numbers and letters and songs and imaginative play! She had some settling in issues, and everyone was so amazing and helpful and worked with her and us to make it an easier transition. They truly understand kids, and we love how they allow the kids to express themselves and learn through play while still teaching amazing manners and structure. We loved how safe and secure the location was, and that they were always vigilant about safety and confidentiality. We loved that our 4 year old was getting to play and experiment while being taught age appropriate curriculum! Although we were only there a short time, St. Mary's holds a dear place in our heart, and we are so lucky we found them!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have been working in childcare for 20 years, managing various settings for the past 17 years. I took a break for a few months to spend time with my family and joined Bright Horizons in January 2017 when I joined the lovely Twickenham West Nursery and Preschool as a Nursery Manager transferring over to Asquith St Mary's in January 2018.

I feel I have the best job in the world and I'm very excited and proud to be working with a team of professionals.

I strongly believe we should provide a home-from-home environment to help every child to feel happy and secure when they are with us in the nursery.

Job Title: Deputy Manager

I have been part of the Bright Horizons team for the past four years, starting as an apprentice and working my way up to my current role as Deputy Manager.

I have been working with children since I was still studying to complete my B.A. in Educational Studies, growing experience in different types of settings and learning to meet the diverse needs of the children in my care, including SEN.

Playing a part in the children's journey to discover the world and witnessing the joy that comes from their experiences is what I enjoy the most in my job and what makes me put my best effort into my work every day.

I strongly believe in the power of education to enhance everyone’s life and I strive in my daily work to create a place where children love to come and families feel safe to bring their little ones to.
