Bright Horizons St Mary's Twickenham Preschool

My daughter has attended St Mary's Bright Horizons preschool in Twickenham since January this year and will soon head off to reception. She has absolutely loved her time there and has learned and grown so much. The staff make a real effort to put on varied and creative activities and they have lots of fun too. The main room is big, bright and airy. My daughter's reading, writing and maths skills have progressed massively this year and she is brimming with confidence and excitement to start at her new 'big girl' school. Would highly recommend.

Excellent nursery. I’m so glad I joined my son at Bright Horizons St Mary's Twickenham Preschool. All the teachers are so wonderful and helpful. My son has learnt so much and is more confident thanks to all the staff.

My daughter loves the nursery. I have seen a massive improvement in her communication skills, she's a lot more independent since starting at Twickenham Bright Horizons. The staff are extremely friendly and my daughter is so excited when I drop her at the nursery. I am so pleased that I chose Twickenham Bright Horizons. Thank you all the team.

My daughter attends St Mary's Twickenham Preschool two full days per week, and our son attends on the same 2 days for pre and post School care. Our experience is that the care both our children get is simply excellent. The activities, learning and general support for both is greatly helping their development. The Nursery facilities are excellent and the range of educational and play activities is fabulous. The staff are caring, attentive and very knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

My daughter is attending Bright Horizons St Mary's Twickenham Preschool for six months now and we are extremely happy and satisfied with the care, attention, development and overall experience she receives there. We tried multiple different nurseries in the area and there has always been something she didn’t like about these. Amazingly, she settled into St Mary’s straight away and looks forward to going there every morning (and sometimes on the weekends too). She has established a lovely relationship with the nursery manager and all her teachers. I have no hesitation in recommending St Mary’s to any parent looking for a safe, stimulating, caring environment for their child.

We are so happy with our son's nursery. The settling in process was great and meant he has already had a taste of how his day would run. The staff are lovely and always have time to chat about what he has done and how he has been. The activities are purposeful and build on care skills. We couldn't be happier with his first experience of the nursery.

My children really enjoy themselves here. The staff are great and work really well together. They give daily updates on what my child has done and always cover a wide range of fun, learning activities.

Very happy with the after school and breakfast provision by the nursery. Staff is fantastic and we are very pleased with all the provision for our daughter.

Only negative is food often looks unhealthy eg melted cheese on bread for tea. Not sure the kids are getting balanced meals, but I may be wrong. My child is always starving when we get home and seems to always just have sandwiches for tea.

We moved to the area in September and started our son at the nursery amidst a lot of change. The staff were brilliant. Very supportive and caring. They ensured he settled well into the nursery and its environment. He is very happy there. His recounts of his day are full of smiles and excitement. We couldn't be happier with the nursery and its staff.

This nursery is by far the best that is around. The ladies that work there put there all into the children and it shows in my son's amazing progress since going there. My son is always very busy doing amazing, fun and educational things. They are very welcoming in every way possible. I'm so pleased and proud of them for getting outstanding from Ofsted, well done ladies!.

We have been very pleased with the care our daughter has received. This is a well run and managed nursery and I've been impressed with how well they have prepared her for school (writing her name, phonics, counting, etc).

What a little gem this place is. It has a lovely, caring atmosphere that was head and shoulders above the others I considered. My son has settled quickly and looks forward to going every time. I cannot recommend it enough!

They also do such a fab job with holistic learning - good manners, the difference between healthy and unhealthy food, hygiene, safety.

My daughter was previously attending another Ofsted "outstanding" nursery, and after relocating to this area for work purposes, we came across St Mary's Pre-school. We have been impressed with this nursery in every way. My daughter is a new girl after attending this nursery. At her previous nursery, which was a very good nursery, we still had tears when dropping her off, however at St Mary's, thanks to the hard work from the staff, she settled so well and so quickly. She loves going to nursery and adores the staff.

Staff always listen to all our concerns and any goals we have for my daughter's learning and work with us to achieve them. We get very individualised care. Both myself and my daughter adore the staff. They work so hard and are so caring and so good at what they do, each and every single one of them. The nursery manager and deputy always have time for a chat and are highly professional.

It is just an amazing nursery all round.

The staff are very caring and my 3 year old loves coming in. They are always welcoming and happy to chat about my child's progress. My older child also comes for after-school care and loves it too. During half term, when she was coming full time, she told me as she went to bed that she couldn't wait to wake up and go to nursery. Outstanding.

Our daughter has been at St Mary's Pre School for over a year now and has very much enjoyed her time there. The staff are all amazing and the level of care is excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to anyone who asked.

I would like to thank all the staff at Twickenham Bright Horizons for taking food care of my daughter. She felt home and comfortable at the nursery and she learned a lot of new things before going to reception. She learned empathy and friendship.

Very welcoming, real effort to get to know the children once the new staff were taking over. Thorough baseline assessment of the child, caring, supportive manner, open communication with parents. My child has really enjoyed spending time here and has been encouraged to join in socially and really feel a part of the setting.
