My son is happy here.
He started with very poor English.
But he keeps learning new things every day and speaks positively about the nursery nurses in the facility.
It is the best kind of feedback we can get as a parent.
The staff are welcoming and friendly.
They were positive during my son's settling
process which was quite hard for him.

It has been only a month that my son is attending this nursery.
The staff is very welcoming and always friendly.
They answer all our questions about our son gladly and they give good feedback about his progress.
My son is happy there, talks positive things about the staff and his caregiver.
He started
eating different foods since he started which is a good change for us.
I highly recommend it.

We are settling our son into the nursery so we have had a limited amount of time with the staff.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and seem to show genuine care for the children.
I do feel that the equipment outside and inside could do with a clean and the children's noses need to be wiped more
regularly.
Overall a satisfactory experience so far.
If all staff could be introduced when you start in the baby room that would be great.

I recently became a nanny for a child in the baby room. The ladies were welcoming and comforting. I always get daily feedback of how her day has been and the fun activities she has taken part in.
The ladies in the office are also welcoming and will greet by name in the morning and afternoon.

We love our Bright Horizons, Raynes Park.
My son goes here now and he is getting smarter by the day.
Great care, facilities and teaching staff.
Everyone there is just so warm.
Will definitely recommend it to anyone and will come back if we decide to have another child.

Both our daughters are so happy here.
Our eldest is in pre-school and has a wonderful time.
She makes loads of artwork and often does baking.
Plus every week there is Theatre Bugs.
Our youngest has just joined the baby room and has settled very quickly.
She enjoys a wide range of activities and
her social skills have improved quickly.

The set up is pretty good. But that's all. I had a very bad experience in this nursery. My son went for preschool, not a full day nursery. He had to discontinue after 1 month. He couldn't be settled there.
The nursery was low on experienced staff. The staff was in rotation in my son's room every day.
They let me stay in on a lot of days, but when I was staying, no one would try to approach my son and try to be friends with him or try to get him to be friends with other children. A member of staff was even a bit stern with him.
I have to say, the children who were there since their babyhood seemed to be ok with their friends and had a good rapport with the carers. But for my son, it was quite a disappointment. The staff rarely smiled at him.

My toddler is happy here and my baby is due to start later this year. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and even staff who work with the other age groups know all the children's names and have good relationships with them. The nursery is flexible and accommodating to the needs of families, which
is really important to us.

Teddies is just wonderful. My Nephew has been going there for 3 months and we have all enjoyed the time. The staff and management team are always welcoming and always ask how I am. They are always happy and smiley and take time out of there day to tell me and my sister what my nephew has been doing.
He never wants to leave the nursery when we pick up, he is always to busy taking part in fun activities.

My Nephew has been going to Teddies for 3 months now and he loves it. He never wants to leave when we come to collect him and I am always blown away by the great things that the staff do with the children. All staff make an effort to say hello when we arrive and have always been extremly helpful. I
am glad my sister has finally found such a good place to send him too.

I have recently started to collect my nephew from Teddies Raynes Park and I am blown away with the exceptional care that is given to him. He is a fussy eater but the staff will adapt the menu for him and ensure if he does not eat that he is given something that he likes. When I collect him from the
nursery it is usually sleep time, my nephew does not have a sleep so the staff make sure he has things to play with and are always deep in conversation and play when I come in.
I have seen many children being comforted by different staff member when they have fallen over or are not happy, the staff deal with this in great way and are always without a doubt able to calm the children down and make then feel better. It is so refreshing to see such a fun and welcoming place where the children and staff are always happy.

Teddies RP is a safe environment with competent and caring staff. In five years of having two children attend we have never had concerns about their care. The facility is a bit small, but this is just part of London life, especially a larger, more interesting outside space would have been nice. The
managers are efficient, understanding and professional.

My daughter is very happy currently in this nursery, she has grown into a confident young girl since starting the nursery at 6 months old. The care all the nursery staff have shown is outstanding and we couldn't ask for more care towards her.

I have a daughter currently at the nursery and one which has now left to go to school. Throughout this time the care for the girls has been outstanding. The management team currently have made great changes within the nursery. It will be very sad when my daughter no longer attends this nursery and moves
on to school.

I cannot praise this nursery enough with my daughters time at Teddies. Throughout her settling in period, the team made myself and my daughter welcomed and answered all my questions as a first time parent leaving there child. The management were very kind, caring and supportive to myself and my wife
throughout the settling in sessions. As of now, my daughter is very happy and loves coming home to tell us about her day or of what we can understand. We get a thorough hand over at the end of the day, which I love hearing about all the fun and learning she has done throughout the day.

Current Review Score: 7.7 (7.748)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 7.7 (7.748) out of 10 for Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.1 out of 5 from 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.667 for Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is calculated as follows: ( (8 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 4.667
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.081 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bright Horizons Raynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool is based on 1 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 = 3
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 62 number of registered child places is 12.4. 1 Positive Reviews ÷ 12.4 = 0.081
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
