The Little Academy Day Nursery

Our son has been attending nursery since the beginning of this year. The teachers have been absolutely amazing in helping with learning, being independent and social activities. The staff are really friendly and helpful and always take the time to speak to us, letting us know how our son's day was. Sending our son to Little Academy was the perfect choice, not only is he really enjoying his time there but as parents we have seen how much he has thrived in the few months of being there. Would highly recommend The Little Academy.

My son has been going to The Little Academy Day Nursery for two-plus years and we had such a positive experience. The nursery staff are lovely, highly trained and very competent. My son loves it there and it took us a long time to find the right nursery for my son and we are glad we went with Little Academy. Great communication and absolutely lovely staff. Would highly recommend if you are after a nursery that truly will look after your child.

Our child has been at this setting since late last year. They have worked miracles helping our child learn to be around other kids and become very sociable (isolation caused by lockdown). Our child settled in very quickly and looks forward to attending. He knows most staff by name and looks forward to seeing them. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. We get good feedback on a daily basis. We are happy that he attends Little Academy.

My daughter enjoys her time here. She is learning a lot. When she comes home and I ask her what did she do today, she always happily answers. She has made good friends. She enjoys the different activities she does, especially painting. The staff are friendly and provide good feedback about her day.

My son started going to the Little Academy when he was a year old. He has been well looked after and we have no complaints with the nursery and the staff. All the staff are very caring and my son is always happy going there. He loves the food there and I do not need to worry if he has been well fed. The Little Academy is a small nursery in comparison to other nursery chains, but I like the fact that my son would be able to know everyone in there, same as they would also know my son. I have been to other bigger nurseries where I can only see chaos with children overcrowded in the room. I would highly recommend the Little Academy nursery to other parents.

My experience has been very good at the Little Academy. My son settled in very well at first, then there were a few difficult days with him, but the staff were always understanding, kind and patient with both him and me. They were never condescending or judgmental which was reassuring. They always give good, informed feedback and always take the time to speak to us when needed. I have nothing but good words to say about the nursery and its hard-working staff. Excellent.

Absolutely amazing and friendly staff! My son only started a few months back and he loves it, usually asking to go in on the days he doesn't attend! The place is bigger than it looks from the outside and super clean too. Again, staff are great with kids as well as parents and communication is great. Highly recommended to any parents wanting somewhere to place their children.

A really brilliant setting for any child. My daughter loves the staff and varied days. Nothing is too much. The food options are also fantastic. Every child is welcomed and encouraged to shine. Communication is great between staff and parents.

Such a great experience so far. Very well organised, nurturing, professional and safe environment. Really focused on providing the kids with lots of fun activities and playtime as well structured learning to prepare them for school. The staff are amazing and the manager is great. Our son has attended The Little Academy since October after a recommendation from another parent friend. We have been extremely satisfied with the communication between the nursery and ourselves. Emails and calls are replied to swiftly; the staff are lovely and friendly, and they have done everything to accommodate our needs. Most importantly, our son comes home happy every time we pick him up. He seems to be involved in a range of different activities every day, which is fantastic to see.

My son began here in November 2020 when he was fifteen months old and he settled in very quickly! He loves being there and loves all the staff. They were fantastic during the pandemic to ensure all the guidelines were followed and the children's safety was their number one priority. My son is now eighteen months old and he loves it, we notice every day that he comes home that there is something new he has learnt and for us, him being able to interact with other children at such a crucial age was our main priority. The Little Academy Day Nursery have given him this during lockdown one, two and three. I am very happy and would highly recommend this nursery to people in the area.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The nursery is very accommodating too. My daughters development has been very noticeable. She is always happy and talkative when she comes back home from nursery.

The team at The Little Academy Day Nursery has been fantastic for the last few years that we have sent our children there. They have helped along the way and been very attentive to our requirements and the children's needs.

My son attended this nursery for half a year, and we only moved him following a move out of the area. The staff are extremely conscientious and patient with the children, the safeguarding protocols are excellent, there seems to be a good mix of activities and outdoor time in a well equipped outdoor playground. The use of the app is also really useful for recording how much they eat, sleep and have happy changes, and I always felt updated with his progress. It’s also, well managed a few of the fees are very reasonable. I think it’s unusual to find a nursery where the practitioners really care and where the kids have fun. I think it’s a testament that my son would get to nursery and run in, barely saying goodbye to me or his dad! Cannot rate highly enough.

My son has been going to The Little Academy since he was 10-months-old. He has always been very happy staying there and has always felt like a home away from home. He loves his teachers and loves to help them. He made many friends there and has turned out to be a very social, independent, kind and confident human being. The nursery and preschool is very nurturing. I am sure my son is going to miss his friends and teachers when he goes into reception year starting September 2020.

The Little Academy is an extremely well organised and run learning facility. It provides the children with the steps to learn, play and grow. My son has attended the nursery since he was 6-months-old and the team members, that look after him, or help him around the facility are extremely patient and understanding. As a parent they make me feel that the welfare of my child is being meet on a daily basis and they will not hesitate to contact me or vice versa regarding any problems or queries I may have. I couldn't of asked for a nicer team of people to look after my son and help him grow.
