The Little Academy Day Nursery

My son is in the sunflower room and they have helped him so much with settling in, speech, comfortability, sleeping, learning to use cutlery, and even eating habits have changed. He enjoys the nursery so much which speaks volumes. He is so loved there by all staff and friends, he smiles so much when he's there and is always laughing. The staff are extremely friendly, happy, bubbly and overall kind and understanding people. I'm an anxious parent but they always made me feel heard and were always patient with me. Listening to me as a parent and helping me to take relevant steps to aid my son's development as he's getting older. Thank you so much to everybody in the nursery.

My son absolutely loves going to The Little Academy Day Nursery! He has enjoyed every moment he spends there, and I couldn't be happier with our choice. His key person is simply amazing. She connects so well with him and does a fantastic job engaging him with a variety of activities. She also takes the time to record his milestones and any new developments, which I greatly appreciate as a parent. Another staff member in particular is also wonderful with him, and I can tell that he feels very secure and comfortable around both. Both ladies put so much effort into creating fun and educational activities for the children every day. I was initially nervous leaving my baby in nursery due to the stories you often hear, but seeing how much my son loves it and how well the staff care for him has put my mind at ease. The manager has been a great support and her assistance has made the whole experience even smoother. One of the best features of nursery aside from the fantastic staff, is the family app.

My child had to change nurseries for his final year. The Little Academy were extremely helpful with this transition and I couldn't be more grateful to them. I am very happy with this nursery in every aspect and highly recommend them.

My daughter has been at The Little Academy since she joined the baby room and now in pre-school. She has been a handful with settling in but we are very lucky to have excellent staff that have persevered and helped her through different stages. I have seen her learn and grow. She is eager and excited to start her day at the nursery. Being full-time working parents, we feel lucky to have our daughter being provided love, care and attention. We have witnessed continuous growth and development. There have been some excellent initiatives recently for children (visits from fire department, met police, zoo lab) and parents (preparing for school admission). Thank you to the lovely staff, who have delivered beyond my expectations.

The team is professional and very helpful. Both my children have learnt so much from their tutors which helped them develop. A great team of individuals all have their own special inputs that help my children. Great job guys! Keep it up!

Excellent nursery in the area. My child had a good time and she learnt a lot of things. Staff are very friendly and kind. They explained everything that she did during the day, every time when we picked up her from the Nursery.

The staff provide a full and comprehensive feedback when we go and collect our child. The biggest plus point is that our daughter is happy and there has not been a single day when she has not wanted to attend the nursery and she comes home complimenting the staff.

The Little Academy has been the second home for my 2 kids. My eldest started during the pandemic and the nursery has always been exceptionally the best nursery for all stages of my children's growth and development. My kids were guided with kindness, respect and belongingness as they grow from baby - toddler - preschool. This always kept confidence and assurance in our hearts, as parents that our kids in The Little Academy. You play a big role in moulding my kids to be kind people.

My child has been attending the nursery since January 2023 and has had a wonderful experience at The Little Academy. We were worried about him moving nurseries but the way the staff team supported our little boy with settling in and getting to really know him felt really personal to us. All of his key persons have gone above and beyond and we love the updates we receive. He has made improvements in all areas of development and we couldn't be happier with his progress. The app provides us with regular updates, photos and videos of what he gets up to whilst he spends his time here and the nursery communication between themselves and parents is always consistent. Thank you for providing such an inspiring and enriching environment for our child's early education. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been attending The Little Academy now for 1 year and 8 months and honestly was one of the best decisions we have made. We were worried at first about leaving her but although she had a slow start, the staff kept calm with her and she has blossomed over time and she now loves to go to nursery and has made many friends whom she talks about at home all the time. The staff have been so amazing and taken care of our angel so well. She has a variety of food which has helped her discover her taste buds. She has learnt so much and picked up a lot of knowledge which has made us very proud of her. The staff have been incredible this past year. I would highly recommend The Little Academy to all parents to send their kids.

I feel confident in leaving my child at the nursery, knowing she will be well looked after for the day. Staff are so good with her and she even talks about the staff when she gets home. I would highly recommend it, and this nursery will give your child a good foundation to progress successfully in school.

I really like this nursery for my son, he is really happy there and enjoying every moment. He will be sad in September because he leaves. The staff really friendly and kind. I can’t wait for my daughter to start the nursery here as well. Thank you to all the team from nursery.

I have tried previous childcare settings which weren’t quite the right fit and so was anxious of how my son would get on. The Little Academy is a fantastic setting and totally put my worries at ease! All staff are extremely helpful, kind, friendly, understanding and supportive. My son adores his key worker and the other staff in the toddler room. They do a variety of activities each day and spend time in the garden which my son loves! It’s been lovely to see how my little one's social skills have developed since he has been in their care. I am kept fully up to date on how my son is doing via the app during the day with pictures and comments and during handovers. If you are looking for a warm environment where you can feel your child is being truly cared for, I would highly recommend paying them a visit!

My daughter has been at The Little Academy Day Nursery for over 2 years and it's been such a positive journey. We're incredibly thankful for the wonderful care she receives. The staff are amazing and clearly love what they do. She's always happy and learning, enjoying her time and making friends. Her favourite? Definitely painting! Plus, I love hearing all about her day when she comes home.

This nursery has created a very loving and caring environment while keeping it stimulating and good for learning. The food and snacks provided are apparently very yummy and my daughter is eating everything on most days. We also appreciate the updates given by staff when we pick her up and of course, the app they use. The nursery works year-round and has a car park. Overall, I think it's a fantastic establishment.

As parents, we’ve been absolutely delighted with The Little Academy. The facilities are fantastic, offering a wide range of activities and resources that cater to all areas of learning and development. Our child particularly enjoys the creative play areas and the outdoor space where they can explore and learn about nature. We’ve seen remarkable progress in our child’s learning journey, from their language development to their social skills. The nursery’s approach to following the government curriculum while also allowing children to learn through play is something we greatly appreciate.

My son has been attending The Little Academy since he was 10 months old, he is now 2.5 years old. As first-time parents we were conscious of sending him to a nursery and being away from him for such a long period of time, however, The Little Academy made us feel very welcome and at ease from the start. My son absolutely loves the setting and I can see he has developed massively in the time he has been there. The staff give great reviews at pick-up time and the app they use is great, as you can see when they ate and how much, when they had their nappies changed/went toilet and you get to see pictures of them from throughout the day/ week. I would recommend The Little Academy to parents looking for a safe, happy and educational nursery for their little ones.

The nursery excels in creating an engaging environment for children and carers. I have no doubt this is down to the staff. They are extremely attentive and caring to my daughter and this warmth and inclusion extends to my older son (who doesn't attend the nursery) but is always made to feel so welcome! The staff send updates via the app and a detailed verbal handover on collection. This provides me with confidence about my child's experience. The nursery offers events such as regular stays and plays where carers are invited to join. I recently attended a Mother's Day event and left with a personalised photograph keychain of myself and my children. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture! The staff recently organised an Easter event including an Easter Bunny and Easter Egg hunt- an enjoyable day out! This nurturing environment makes a positive impact on families and I can't thank the staff enough for their commitment to providing such a positive and enriching experience to childcare!
