Little Jewels Pre-School

Of course do your own research, but when we were looking between nurseries it was also better value than most in the area, which is a big factor when childcare costs can be nearly as much as rent/mortgage!

It's great place, our daughter started at Little Jewels when she was one year old, they have been key in promoting her development, she has learnt a lot in her time there, from independence to having good manners. The staff are not only very professional and approachable, but also extremely caring and kind with the children and parents. I highly recommend it, the combination of a reasonable fee, extended opening times and the great team makes it an amazing option for childcare.

Overall the nursery is fantastic and my child really enjoys his time. Their staff are very friendly and are extremely kind to the children. I think it’s great that they are starting to do more trips now everywhere is opening back up

A really lovely nursery. Our daughter (20 months) runs in smiling in the morning. They have a really parent friendly attitude in general. My partner and I feel like the staff are on our side, and genuinely have our daughter's best interests at heart.

My daughter started going here in October and it’s now the highlight of her day. She loves the staff giving them plenty of hugs and kisses. The communication we get whenever there is a problem is top notch and we receive emails whenever something changes. Overall I’m very pleased that my daughter goes here and her development and independence has improved ever since she started to attend.

Our daughter loves little jewels. She started when she was two and has formed strong bonds with the staff. They are so caring and dedicated and take the time to really get to know the children, including following up with parents on any small ways they can provide further support. We are delighted with our decision to send her to little jewels, so much so that we are now sending her little brother as well. We are so grateful to the Pre-school Manager and her team for creating a safe, caring and nurturing environment.

Little Jewels have looked after our children so well. They love their key worker and have developed overall brilliantly. It’s allowed us to have a smooth transition back to work, and little complication during covid. For us having the children socialise with other children was key, and Little Jewels is a smaller nursery so has a very personal touch.

We love Little Jewels, all the staff are fantastic, we feel very lucky to have found this nursery for our child. We love that they have a play space outside and that they’re involved in all sorts of activities during the day - we see regular photos of what they get up to which is great!

We are happy with the nursery, in particular my daughter's key worker, and the level of care that she/the nursery provides.

It is a shame I am not welcome to enter the nursery (due to covid restrictions) to see the activities etc.

The only point for development is - outside space is a car park and not suited for crawlers.

We love Little Jewels, of all the local nurseries we visited it seemed to have the most caring team where children genuinely enjoyed being there. Our boy has attended over a year now from 12m and we found this was the case - not only do they do a great job of interesting activities, teaching him how to look after himself and interact well with others, they also have fun and are invested in him as a person they want to do the best by- exactly what we wanted from a nursery. As they are smaller we also felt they were less “corporate” and more focused on the needs of the individual children/parents, which we like.

My son had been attending this nursery for a little over five months and I can say he absolutely loves it. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. My son is always so happy to go in the mornings and has really built a bond with the staff. Absolutely recommend 10/10.

The staff at Little Jewels are absolutely lovely and take great care of my eighteen month old. They have been able to support all sorts of developmental milestones, from walking to teething to learning songs and dances, and are really great about pick up and drop off.

Wonderful staff who take a real interest in the kids and a great keyworker system. The facilities are not purpose-built for a nursery and the outside space is basic, but I cannot fault the care of the staff and my daughter is very happy.

Little Jewels Pre-School are a good nursery. They have kind and lovely staff who look after the children with care. They have activities that help the children in many different ways. Their food is healthy. The environment is safe.

We are very happy with the nursery. My three year old son's key worker has done an outstanding job with him over the last six months and really helped him through a challenging period with the birth of a sibling. We had good discussions about how to handle it and felt like we were acting as a team. The staff are very friendly and genuinely caring. The nursery feels intimate and personal. We see at home that he has been learning about numbers, days of the week, telling the time and other age-appropriate learning, as well as arts and crafts.

I recommend to every single parent who’s considering Little Jewels.

I cannot recommend Little Jewels highly enough. My two year old has been going there for the past year and absolutely loves it. The staff are incredibly warm and kind. Since attending, my son's language has developed hugely and it is clear that he is learning a lot as well as having lots of fun and making friends. He always comes out talking about his day and how much he has done. It is really reassuring to know he is spending the day somewhere he is safe, happy and so well looked after.

We're delighted with Little Jewels - both of our children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at the nursery. The staff are uniformly friendly, enthusiastic and loving, and that sense of joy rubs off on the kids. It's got a lovely atmosphere and I'd recommend it to any local parents.

Our child has been at Little Jewels since they were 1 years old and is very happy there. It is a lovely local nursery with wonderful carers and manager. The children do lots of different activities and the manager and our child’s key worker are really good at keeping us updated on progress.
