Ladybird Nursery - Beckenham

My 2 and a half year old son has been going to Ladybird Beckenham for almost a year and a half and he could not be happier there! All of the staff are wonderful, kind and loving and the environment feels really homely and emotionally safe and secure. The activities they do are brilliant and so much of it is really educational too. He learns so much there that he would not learn at home and it has been so lovely to watch him grow and develop there. I would not hesitate to recommend Ladybird Beckenham to anyone.

Such a shame as our daughter really enjoyed her time at the nursery and made great friends, however, we no longer felt comfortable sending her to the toddler room.

The care that the nursery staff provide is outstanding. You could not wish to have better people looking after your child. We were so impressed with how much our little boy grew and developed whilst he was there. They did so many activities with the children and he really enjoyed learning about different cultures for instance at Diwali and Black History month which was great. The food that was provided was lovely and nutritious too.

I would recommend this nursery in an instant. My daughter was unsure of the nursery experience to begin with, but with the patience, care and approach of the staff at Ladybird I feel that she flourished.

My son joined the nursery in August 2017 and left August 2020. Three years this lovely team have been apart of our lives, and they've been amazing. He loved the nursery, the staff and his friends. We will miss this nursery.

The staff go the extra mile for the children, and they handled the challenge of re-opening after Covid extremely well.

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was eleven months old, and is now two and a half. She started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room. She is very happy here, and has had many great teachers look after her, whom she has taken to and loves seeing. She has made lots of friends and is always talking to us about her time at nursery. The teachers are helpful and friendly, and love talking to us about our daughter. We feel she is well looked after and love seeing the photos on the parent's app. The nursery takes them on lots of trips outside the nursery as well, and encourage parents to get involved when we can. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone looking to put their child in a Beckenham nursery.

Staff members have been very accommodating, they always listen to my feedback/concerns and always willing to learn. My child had delayed speech and they have supported her and there has been significant improvement in her progress. My child loves coming to nursery and they are caring towards her; she is very happy at nursery.

I honestly can't recommend Ladybird Nursery enough. My son has thrived there and particularly enjoyed his time in preschool where he has learnt so much, and is, hopefully, well prepared for school in September! The staff are outstanding, the variation of breakfast, lunch and tea available and the facilities they provide are fantastic. His favourite parts are visiting local schools, shops and attending his sports class.

A superb nursery with a stable contingent of dedicated staff who are competent and well-managed. We have had both children go through Ladybird Nursery and they have both had a happy, healthy and safe time there in a very caring environment. Of particular note is that the nursery focuses very heavily on pastoral care. What they do academically is more than adequate but, in my opinion, it's all about the pastoral care and social education at this age and Ladybird Nursery is terrific at that. I would recommend Ladybird Nursery to anyone without reservation; they have been wonderful to my children and have provided a much-needed, stable lifeline for us as parents.

Both my children have attended Ladybird Nursery in Beckenham and I am so grateful for the fantastic care and attention they received there. My little boy leaves in a few weeks and is very sad to go.

The staff are great and I feel like they really cared for my children and got to know their personalities and how they like to play/learn. I always trusted my kids with them and felt happy dropping them off. At pick up, I was told about their day and what they’d been up to or what they’d had for lunch (the food is great too).

The nursery is bright and clean and a really nice environment for the kids. They always seem to be learning something fun and my little boy loves going out in the garden and playing or looking for minibeasts.

I would recommend Ladybird to anyone looking for a happy nursery for their kids.

My son attended Ladybird Nursery - Beckenham from the age of 10 months right through until starting school this month and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff have shown tremendous kindness and patience throughout his time there and have supported us at every stage in his development. They are extremely imaginative and creative in the activities they come up with for the children to do and my son has learnt an astonishing amount in the preschool there this last year. There is a very low turnover of staff at this nursery compared to others, which is not only important for the children there, but also shows what a happy place this is.

It is very obvious that the activities stimulate my son's creativity and develops his speech and social skills. Pleased to see that the safeguarding of children is at the highest level and we have never had any incidents that we should worry about. There is always a positive, supportive, loving and caring environment in the nursery. I have recommended this nursery to my friends and can recommend to anyone. That's an excellent choice!

My wife and I have sent both our Sons to Ladybird Nursery over the last few years and we are delighted with their time there. In particular our first son was quite late to develop his speech and it was only with the help of the nursery staff and the local SENCO that we were able to address this (in the end it was glue ear). Both boys have loved their time there, and as a parent we have never been short of 100% confident and happy with the staff and the facilities. They shall all be missed. Recommended without reservation.
