Fareacres Pre-School & Day Nursery Gants Hill

My child attended Fareacres Pre-school & Day Nursery Gants Hill since she was a baby and I have been very happy with the service, communication, attention to detail, care and support my child got from the staff while being in their care. She always spoke highly of her teachers and enjoyed each and every day of her 5 years at Fareacres. Definitely recommend.

The nursery operates until 7 pm which is very helpful.

Fareacres Pre-School & Day Nursery has been one of the best experiences not only for my child but for myself as a parent. They really take into account your child's individual needs as well as yours as a parent and what you would like to see happen for your child/children. Fareacres showcases immense examples of diversity and inclusion, for both pupils and staff members who are able to adapt to unfamiliar situations. Their staff have a genuine interest in supporting every child's development and are also always open to feedback and suggestions. A very friendly and 'homely' environment from the moment you walk in. Fantastic handovers, emails and the app to keep you updated.

We will be sad when our little one has to leave to go to primary school.

There are excellent teachers who devote a lot of time and, most importantly, love to your child. They also find an individual approach to everyone, taking into account the child's peculiarities and talents. Always friendly and polite. My daughter acquired many necessary skills for school here. The whole team works harmoniously, there have never been any problems with management. On the contrary, you will always receive advance notice of changes or innovations, and parents' opinions are respected here.

My son started this nursery back in December 2022. Since day one, he has been looked after extremely well and I am so very grateful to the nursery staff, especially the nursery manager for it. Thank you so much. They have simply done an exemplary job! My son has special needs and is non-verbal but the way he has been looked after at the nursery, it was like home away from home for him. Just before starting, my son had become quite withdrawn but since he joined the nursery he gradually returned to being a very happy, smiley boy and as a parent, I cannot thank the nursery staff enough for what they have done! The nursery manager also helped us a lot in securing extra help for our child from the council which can sometimes be a tricky process.

The nursery has a lovely setting and great, great staff. My son loves the garden and the ample space it provides. He looks forward to going there every day with a big smile! I fully recommend this nursery and wish them all the best for the future!

Both our children have attended Fareacres and it's been a home from home. The team are friendly and caring towards the children and my children have loved being there. Lots of care has been taken to organise fun and educational activities to keep the children busy and learning and the outside garden is lovely and well-equipped for lots of imaginative play. They both ate a good range of fresh food always eating more than one portion and they were well fed throughout the day. The opening hours were extremely helpful with both of us on busy work schedules.

Both children are very sad to have left/be leaving and we hope we will keep in touch with everyone as they move on to school life. Thank you Fareacres for taking such good care of our children and encouraging them to be happy confident children ready for school.

Best nursery! My son has settled in very quickly and this is all because the staff are so loving and welcoming. This nursery has a homely/family feel and honestly, I am so happy I chose this nursery. Initially, my son attended another nursery which was not great as he didn't settle In well/constantly crying etc. However, after starting at Fareacres, I saw such a big difference. He was happy to go in and loves the staff so much! They are so caring!

The manager is an outstanding childcare leader and takes the time to make sure children are cared for and nurtured, engaging families at every turn. My son's key worker was equally as keen to support my son in his personal journey which has made his transition to school so much smoother. I feel very lucky to have found them, I could not have asked for more for my son, at such an impressionable age.

Our son joined the Nursery in 2021 just after lockdown. He was two. We had a splendid visit to the large garden before he started and saw all the wonderful things to look at and see and smell out there. He enjoyed being allowed to play! The management were so kind and assuring and all the staff were very switched on and motivated. Our son never looked back. He skipped into nursery every morning and had an amazing time there. Lots of friends. His key worker was superb. I always got detailed reports of his well-being, his behaviour, his development etc. All the staff knew our son and would have a lovely chat with him as we were picking him up. A real highlight - the delicious, home-cooked, healthy food. The cook is brilliant and the children have such a varied diet. My son had a cooked meal each lunchtime and a lovely selection of fruit for pudding. Great to have Tapestry pictures regularly too. The Drama activity was also a winner with our son. We would highly recommend Faracres!

This nursery is absolute amazing! I was so happy and lucky that I found a space for my son at Fareacres so quickly. What a special place to be! All of the staff were wonderful, caring and so supportive. Any accounting questions I had they always got right back to me and also accommodated for what my son needed. All of the staff and children there are all so included and become a massive family. Fareacres - I cant recommend them enough. From day one they have made us feel very welcome and my little boy settled into nursery so quickly with a smile at the end of most days which was absolutely down to the care, attention and focus on him. Every morning and evening you are greeted with smiling faces and they really do seem to love their jobs. Fareacres is a very special place indeed for both love, growth and development.

I sent both of my children to Fareacres, starting in 2016 to 2022, and was extremely happy with the level of care they received. The team are very nurturing and patient and very important for working parents, flexible. The in-house chef is excellent and I was amazed at the variety of food they would eat there (but not at home obviously!). The introduction of the tapestry app was really welcome with the staff updating it regularly with pics and updates from the kid's days. They always have lovely celebrations for religious festivals and it's great to see the kids learning about different cultures at such a young age. Feedback from staff on any issues has always been dealt with sensitively and they always worked with us as parents to resolve problems. Both my kids miss going there and I would happily recommend the setting to any prospective parents.

The teachers have changed over this period of time but the management is stable, approachable, caring and efficient. Overall very happy with the nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery.
