Very happy with the nursery, I have had both my kids go here. They have both come along really well. My youngest has developed so much and has come out of his shell since starting. Def recommend Busy Bees.
Happy with service given to my daughter. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended.
My daughter has been going to this nursery full-time for nearly two years now and I cannot fault it. The staff are amazing with her, they all know her so well and I feel completely confident in the care she receives. She always surprises me with what new things she has learnt and what she has been doing. They are always doing such lovely activities (just today the fire brigade came in and she had a go at squirting the hose). I’m so happy I chose for her to come here. There is a lovely big outside space which was one of my biggest draws when I was looking at this nursery. The communications received are always thorough and the nursery app is a lovely way to keep tabs on what she is doing throughout the day with photos and achievements posted for us to see. I would 100% recommend this nursery and feel it has been a great start for her. Will be sad to leave for school in September.
The nursery has been so welcoming to my little one. He found it really hard to settle but the staff helped in any way they could, such as getting him involved in activities that he was interested in. He will often come home and talk about the friends he has made at nursery and about his keyworker. He is now really settled and asks to go everyday!
I would recommend Busy Bees, Bexleyheath to anyone. My daughter enjoys her time at nursery and I know she is well looked after. She has great relationships with other children and staff. They have great facilities and an excellent garden for the children to play in.
If your child has special needs do not send your child to this nursery. None of the staff have experience or training in dealing with special needs children. The SENCO was very vague on what my child's target goals were as at the time my child was non-verbal. The keyworker would always say "X had a good day". Also, my child would come home with soiled nappies or the same nappies I would send them to nursery with. This would happen every other month. The amount of times I had to ask for updates on forms to be signed and sent back to professional services, delaying my intervention programs was very painful. In the end, I had to withdraw my child from this setting. My child is now very happy at a new nursery making friends, talking (3 worded sentences) and had their diagnosis.
A wonderful nursery, I am so happy we chose this one. They keep the parents well informed and look after the children with such care and dedication. All the staff seem to be as lovely as each other, and I'm very impressed by the homemade food and variety of the menu. The activities they arrange for the children are varied and a lot of effort is put in, it sounds like so much fun I wish I could join in myself!
I am satisfied with Busy Bees at Bexleyheath in the past few months. The staff are very nice and careful with the baby. Frequent communication with us about the baby's development. The baby is very happy here!
One word for the team at Busy Bees outstanding. Always going over and above and I feel so safe sending our little girl. It's so true that I feel this nursery is its own little family looking forward to many more happy memories and years here for our little girl.
Handling of the COVID-19 situation has been really good - both in communication and transition of children going back to nursery after a long period off. The team at Busy Bees all make you feel welcome and are friendly - most definitely has a family feel about the nursery. My child thoroughly enjoys nursery and gets on well with everyone especially his keyworker. My feedback that I have provided has always been listened too and dealt with. However, in the main, it's an amazing nursery that I have already recommended.
My son has attended Busy Bees Bexleyheath since January 2018 when he was 13 months old. He is now close to turning 4 and is excited to go to Nursery each morning and is always happy when he is collected. My opinion is that the children are very engaged during the day and enjoy a range of different activities. All staff are friendly and helpful at all times and form good relationships with all children.
Fantastic all-round, my son been there since 9-months-old, only left today as going to big school. They have played a big part in my son's life that I'm proud to say, teachers are brilliant, school is extremely clean and tidy, the personal care you get is outstanding, I felt at ease knowing I left my son within their care.
I have felt comfortable in discussing any issues I have with the nursery and any issues that have arisen, have been dealt with accordingly. The nursey were very accomodating with my son's nursery attendance during COVID-19 due to my reduced working hours.
When your child asks for their key worker by name after being off since lockdown began and isn't even 3 years old yet, you know that every child is made to feel accepted and welcome. Special mention for three members of staff who my child has enjoyed her time at nursery with and always join in with the high fives and fist bumps. My child thoroughly enjoys nursery and asks every day if she's seeing her mate.
Busy Bees at Bexleyheath has provided a safe, nurturing and fun environment for both of my children. Both run into their rooms every day and are usually sad to leave. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to other parents.
My daughter has made lots of improvements in her development since started nursery. I would highly recommend to friends and family. Her keyworker is amazing.
My twin girls are extremely happy at Busy Bees, they have been here for 7 months and have really grown in confidence. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the girls find them very approachable. I would recommend Busy Bees and have had a wonderful experience so far!
Very happy with my sons care. The staff in his class Ladybirds are amazing and always keep me updated. He loves it here and his key worker is so nice and really looks after my baby boy. Couldn't be happier.
We are really pleased with the care our daughter receives at this nursery. She is well looked after and always comes home happy. She has lots of friends and is learning lots.
We have loved the support and care our son has received in snails. He has developed so much in the time he has been here and I truly believe the girls in the room genuinely care about development. We will be sending our second baby here.

Meet the Team (1)
Hello, my name is Tracy Leeves.
I have worked in the childcare sector for over 20 years. I started working in a Primary School as a Classroom Assistant and then became a Learning Support Assistant. I then joined Busy Bees as an Early Years Educator and worked my way up to become a Centre Director.
I hold a BTEC National Diploma and an NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education. I have also completed an Early Years Foundation Degree. I hold a current First Aid and Food Hygiene qualification.
At our nursery we make sure we maintain a good working relationship with all of our parents, meet each child’s individual needs and create learning opportunities for all the children. I have an open-door policy for parents to discuss any aspect of their nursery life. All our parent’s opinions and suggestions matter.
I have a wealth of experience and have gained additional skills since opening this nursery in 2006. We have grown into a vibrant nursery that is now recommended by the Local Authority. Our top priority at the nursery is to care for and educate all the children, giving the children additional support when they need it.
I have two children of my own and both the boys attended the nursery and now attend both Primary and Secondary school. My spare time is spent with the boys, taking them to their extracurricular clubs, weekend football matches or planned family days out.
