Busy Bees Croydon makes an excellent contribution to childcare and education within the local community, with a friendly and experienced team of staff who have the advantage of an expertly designed and fully-resourced facility, registered to welcome up to 112 children.

Staff look to treat each child as an individual, with key persons keeping an eye on personal development, with the aim of encouraging all children to practice their communication and social skills, alongside focused learning on key areas such as numeracy and literacy.

Our daughter has had the best time at Busy Bees Croydon, the staff there are great at what they do and equally friendly.


The staff were welcoming from day 1, which was encouraging as we knew our daughter was in safe hands. Great environment and plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy.

My son started nursery in September (as soon as he turned 1). Dad and I were very worried but with the amazing care of the staff our son settled in no time which was a big relief. We hear about his day in detail from the staff every day. We feel all of the staff know him and constantly think about his
needs. The activities planned are discussed with us which makes us part of his learning journey. He always has a smile on his face when we collect him at the end of the day.


They have spacious outdoor space, great indoor activities and their extremely helpful, caring and supportive staff which is their biggest asset. We're glad we picked Busy Bees Croydon. Our son loves being there so much that he indicates he wants to go there on the weekends too :) Our experience with the nursery couldn't be better. Thank you all for your hard work, enthusiasm, flexibility and professionalism.

My niece has been coming to this nursery for 7 months, I bring her to nursery and pick her up. The nursery staff are always so warm and friendly when we come in, the rooms always look and are set up very nicely with activities.


If there are any problems they are sorted out straight away, my niece

is always very happy to come into nursery and I always have trouble getting her to come home in the evening as she is having a good time there. I would fully recommend Busy Bees Nursery to anyone who asks for a recommendation.

From the moment we visited Busy Bees Croydon, we knew it was the nursery for our daughter. The nursery not only has a lovely feel to it, but the staff could not be more helpful, particularly the Manager and those in the baby room.
The nursery itself is all one level and has a school like feel to it,
which we loved. The staff are extremely friendly and were (and still are) reassuring when we were worried about her settling. Luckily, our daughter has settled a lot quicker than expected but I think a lot of that is to do with how great the staff are with her.
We could not be happier with Busy Bees Croydon and are looking forward to seeing how our daughter develops under their care.

This is a really good nursery. The staff are by far it’s biggest asset and I always feel my son is well looked after here. He settled well straightaway and is always happy and content when I collect him at the end of the day. The manager also knows all of the children by name, which is a really good
sign, I think.


One of the main reasons I chose this nursery is that it is purpose built and everything is on the ground floor. I looked at several nurseries in converted houses where there were lots of stairs and this Busy Bees building seems much safer. There’s car park as well, which is easier getting the children in and out of the car. Outdoor facilities are great as well and there’s direct access to the garden from the various rooms. I didn’t like the idea of my son going up and down a lot of stairs to access the garden, which is what I saw in some of the other nurseries I looked at.
While no nursery is cheap, the fees here are reasonable compared to others in the local area too.

Previous placement broke down unexpectedly and the manager and staff were very welcoming and understanding of our situation. They were all very supportive with settling in and being sensitive to toddler and family needs. Flexible with drop off and pickup times, useful feedback on each day's activities
and we love the photos of little one in action and the weekly planning board. A socially active nursery with season appropriate events. Great outdoor space easily accessed multiple times per day and a very good menu with tailored choices for dietary restrictions. Willing support with potty training and little one loves it! Even at weekends, she asking to go. Thank you all and keep up the good work!

The nursery is in a prime location to the local buses and station, I am pleased to come and drop off in the morning and see the children happy and playing, they have so much to do and the space is amazing.
I think that the menu and food is lovely as I have been in the nursery for lunch and tea time
visits.

Busy Bees Croydon is a fantastic nursery, which I would truly recommend.


My son has been attending the nursery since he was 2 years old and in that time the staff's have always been friendly, professional and very supportive to all the children and the parents.

My son started attending Busy Bees Croydon in December 2016 and has loved being there ever since. We were worried about the transition as he was starting in the pre-school room, having never attended nursery before, however, all our worries were unfounded as the staff were amazing helping him settle
in, encouraging him to socialise with the other children and participate in activities. The facilities at the nursery are fantastic, there is always so much set out for the children to do both outdoors and indoors. My son loves the nursery and the staff there and is always happy to attend. As a parent, I find that the nursery is fantastic at keeping me informed on his daily activities with constant communication. The daily report is always very informative and shows how brilliantly the staff know the children they work with. Sending my son here was one of the best decisions we made and I would recommend this nursery, with its wonderful facilities and even more wonderful staff, to anyone.

My son has been attending Busy Bees nursery in Croydon from 9 months old, he is now 3.5 years. I'm extremely pleased with the care my son has received, I find the staff extremely friendly. My son loves his key worker in pre school and has a relationship with all members of staff. My son has developed
extremely well in Busy Bees care and loves the brand new playground/garden. He has loads of friends and is a bright and outgoing child and I feel his care at this nursery has contributed to his development. The nursery has always been flexible when I've required extra days of care. I would highly recommend this nursery/preschool.

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees (South Croydon) since she was 10 months old. I can't thank the staff enough for how attentive they are to her progression and needs. I feel completely at ease knowing she is properly cared for and stimulated.
I feel she is getting the best start in life by attending
Busy Bees and it really does show. All the rooms are well equipped with different activities. The garden has just been renovated and looks really lovely. The staff are all really friendly (nursery staff and management included). I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter is 16 months old and has been attending Busy Bees nursery for 6 months. Her development has been amazing, the team are friendly, helpful, informative, the key workers and other members of staff looking after my daughter really seem to care about her, and enjoy being around her, which she
reciprocates. Any worries I have or have had, they have put my mind at rest.
Unfortunately, I am having to take my daughter out of the nursery as I'm due a 2nd child, I am extremely gutted but once the time comes for my daughter to go back to nursery, this will be where she attends, along with baby no. 2.
I also love the fact every room is on one level - the kids are secure, as we all know, safety for our children is paramount. My Daughter LOVES her food, and she is fed well with different menus - and kept hydrated throughout the day.

I love Busy Bees. Both my daughters have attended this nursery. All staff are very welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. They make sure kids needs are met and they help them become more confident. I love that the nursery takes security very seriously, as well as kids background, allergies etc.
To top
it all they've got an awesome cook who makes varied meals making sure kids get nutritious yet tasty food.
I would definitely recommend this nursery.

I have sent both of my children to this nursery since they were 10 months old. They have always had the best of care and built good relationships with the staff. Really love Busy Bees. Since my son has attended he has become more confident. I'm really happy to leave him in the care of the staff, who are all lovely. Would highly recommend to any parent thinking about sending their child to Busy Bees. Also, love the outside play space for the kids. The babies/toddlers
and pre-school are all separated to facilitate the different stages. Toys and facility in general always kept clean to high standard

We have been extremely happy with Busy Bees nursery since our 1-year-old son started in January. He is very happy there and has come on so well with his development. The service provided by the team is second to none with a great range of toys, fun activities each day and healthy, nutritious food.


I find the staff to be very helpful and caring with my son. They keep me up to date with his progress and provide great updates at the end of each day. It’s a great relief to know that my son is in such a safe, fun and caring environment.

Both my sons have started this nursery after they turned 1. I have looked at so many nurseries after which I have decided on this one. This nursery has the best setting with purpose built nurseries, which allow enough sunlight into the rooms, spacious rooms for the kids to allow free play, separate
gardens for each age and lots of toys which keep the kids occupied. Especially in the baby rooms, they have a separate sleeping room – which is the best I have ever seen. Kids get enough food and sleep in the nursery – which is very important at this stage. They are provided in-house cooked healthy hot meals many times a day. Staff are extremely well connected with kids and parents. Staff teach kids good eating manners and good manners. I am extremely pleased with the nursery in helping my sons become well behaved and kind kids. Last but not the least – they have ample parking space (more than 10) which is a challenge in most of the nurseries around this area. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

Job Title: Centre Director

Hello, I am Latoya Clarke the Centre Director here at Busy Bees Croydon.
I have over 18 years experience within the early years sector and have a BA Honours in Early Childhood Studies. The early years sector has always been a passion of mine and I strive to achieve a high quality learning environment for all children.
Qualities that I hold dear to me include the relationships that I build with members of staff, the children and the parents which encourage me to continue to give my all to this role and being a family orientated person is reflective of this. In my spare time I enjoy travelling and spending quality time with my children.
I cannot wait to share my knowledge, experience and expertise with my parents and staff and welcome you to Croydon Busy Bees.
