Busy Bees Croydon

The centre has changed drastically for the good since the new manager has taken over. The staff has always been good, four in particular. We moved into this nursery from another one and I can say that was the best thing to do. My daughter is learning and growing. They are compassionate, friendly and always with a smile even after a long day's hard work. Words are not enough to describe the satisfaction we get as a first-time parents. We have learned to trust them with our child. Thank you all for your efforts.

The nursery is a bit slow at replying to emails, however they have been brilliant with my son. The nursery has a big outdoor area and seem to encourage the children to play outside which my son loves. The staff are very kind and caring, my son cries when I leave him but they hug him and sit with him until he calms down and starts to play. The staff give me low-downs at the end of each day about what he's eaten, how much he's slept and how he's settling in. They are also very good at collecting his stuff at the end of the day and sending it home with him. I feel like they care about the babies in the nursery and there is physical affection which my son craves!

Great communication and updates and covid precautions and monitoring. My child is in safe hands !!

I was incredibly nervous putting my girls into nursery when I had to return to work however I am so pleased with the nursery choice we made. It is a fantastic nursery with wonderful staff!

So happy that I moved my daughter to Busy Bees Croydon. I can see the instant improvement in her development - best decision I’ve made for her progress. She is so excited to go to nursery every day and with such lovely staff who clearly and genuinely care about the children, it’s easy to see why.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The team is great with her and are very good at keeping us updated on her progress. She has developed a lot and loves the team who takes care of her. The management team has been very flexible in 2020 with all our last-minute changes (Covid related). The outdoor facilities are amazing.

I have two boys who started the nursery after lockdown one. I was familiar with the nursery, my daughter attended there 6 years ago. It was therefore nice that the nursery atmosphere and familiarity had not changed. My boys took a couple of weeks but they settled in perfectly. Since being at the nursery, they developed immensely and the boys love going to nursery, which is a personal comfort. I highly recommend this nursery.

Busy Bees in Croydon is a brilliant nursery. My daughter joined earlier this year (2020) aged two, and she continues to grow and develop exceptionally well. Her speech is clear, meaning I understand what she says, and she corrects me if I have said something wrong. My daughter is confident and knows what she wants to what she doesn't want. The staff are welcoming and attentive to your needs. If I have a problem or an issue, the manager will sort out whatever is the issue or problem. I like Busy Bees because they are not too far from my home, they are diverse with the children and staff. I think it’s imperative for children to mix with children and staff who are from different races, different countries/islands, different faiths, religions and children with disabilities. It will help them to understand everyone is different.

Our daughter has been with Busy Bees from 11-months to the grand old age of 4 (she starts school in a few weeks). We are so happy that we chose this nursery for her. She's been through all the different age/stage rooms and has had a few different key workers during that time, and everyone has been kind and professional. She skips through the front doors every day happy to see what's going to happen next, and routinely comes home with stories and artwork. They have supported her development beautifully, from her first steps, through potty training to starting to learn to trace and write letters and understand letter sounds in preparation for school. Busy Bees have adjusted so well to the challenges of the pandemic and at no point has our daughter been uncomfortable since she returned post-lockdown. The staff have done everything they can to keep things normal and fun for the children and have worked incredibly hard, with many colleagues furloughed and lots of regulations to follow.

My son has been attending Busy Bees since February 2018 when he was 20-months-old. He has developed and flourished so much during his time there. He enjoys going and has built good relationships with the staff and children. Everyone knows each others name which is great. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

My son has been at Busy Bees for almost 2 years, we have seen him grow and learn so much in his time there! He enjoys the company of friends and has made great connections with the staff as well. Would definitely recommend them to any parent, even the baby room is calm and cosy and the pre-school class is fun and upbeat! Excellent nursery!

Our son really enjoys being at Busy Bees Croydon. The facilities are brilliant and the care is fantastic. He is developing really well under their care. The meals are also excellent and very well planned nutritionally. The staff are all really friendly and management is exceptional.

I chose this nursery out of another 10 I saw around my house. This nursery is actually far from my house but is the best of all and as I care a lot about my kids day to day lifestyle I will highly recommend this nursery. They are fully involved with the kids' age group activities and going the extra mile in order to achieve kids' development no matter if a child has a disability or a typical child. You don't see them just standing, that's why their name is very good comparing to what they do - Busy Bees.

The nursery management are always welcoming and helpful and run a lovely tight ship.

She is going to miss the staff and environment greatly. I'm sure we'll be back for a visit in the future.

My daughter loves attending Busy Bees, Old School Place. She cannot wait to go in the morning and is so happy in herself leaving our house. When I pick her up in the evening, she always looks so content and tells me about all the fun she has had that day. The staff are fantastic and keep in regular communication. She has formed friendships and benefits from the consistency in staff. Attendance at Busy Bees has encouraged her development and social communication. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

Very happy that our son has been going to this nursery for the past 3 years. Staff are very supportive and friendly. Our son has built up some good friendships with other kids and staff, he has been enjoying a variety of activities. He’s thriving there and has developed so much in their care.

Our first son has attended Busy Bees in Croydon and because we had such a good experience we came back with our second child. We are not local to the nursery but it is absolutely worth the travel because we go to work knowing that we leave our child in good and caring hands.

We were fortunate to come in contact with Busy Bees in April when I was designated a key worker and my previous nursery had closed its doors to everyone, regardless of profession. We reached out to the nursery manager who was more than helpful and booked us in for settling in the following day. My son settled in quickly and after 3 days was enjoying full days. Busy Bees made the transition quick, easy and painless - it didn't take us long to make the decision to become permanent parents at the setting and we were fortunate enough to be offered a place. Our son has been there over 3 months now and smiles when we get to nursery and is happy when we pick him up - always looking like he has had a great day. We get regular updates on the Parent Zone app (something we didn't get at our previous setting) which is great to see how he is doing. I'd definitely recommend anyone to this nursery. It is really well laid out, ample parking for a stress-free pick-up / drop off and the staff are always friendly.

My child is in the baby class and the two that head up the room have been amazing. The confidence has grown in my daughter and she loves nursery days.
