The Little School Daycare

My son has loved his time at The Little School. He's learnt so much and made great friends. We feel it's prepared him well for school and given him the best start.

Good nursery and happy to recommend to anyone. They do help with children's learning and development.

My daughter has been so happy at The Little School. She's quite a shy child but comes home with all kinds of stories about her day. I feel happy knowing that she is well looked after in a safe environment with lots of stimulating activities. The carers are very qualified in what they do, very communicative and obviously enjoy caring for the children.

The Little School is a wonderful nursery which all three of my children have attended over the part three years. The children are brilliantly looked after by wonderful caring staff. Lots of great activities and learning in a safe and stimulating environment. My youngest daughter has loved 'Big school' and is very much prepared to start her next journey onto her primary nursery school. Thank you to all of The Little School for providing such fabulous childcare!

Our son was made instantly welcome when he joined aged 11 months. The staff in his room all know him very well and are happy to let him follow his own interests while also encouraging him to develop others. He is a happy sociable little boy thanks to their work.

We love The Little School. My son (now 8 months) has attended since he was 4 months old. Initially, I was worried but The Little School offers a great settling in process. My son settled straight away and I noticed he is more alert and has better language skills than his peers because he is stimulated at nursery. The staff are all professional and friendly and ensure the babies are comfortable and happy. There is a lovely atmosphere - it's a warm and welcoming place.

We have had a very good experience. Our child settled in quickly. The staff are helpful and friendly. The kids put up a very good Christmas concert.

Outdoor space could do with a refresh.

Our daughter has only been in The Little School since January 2016 and in those few months, we have had an extremely enjoyable experience. Our daughter has learned so much, made wonderful friends. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The school itself is very clean and welcoming. Our daughter learning outcomes while here have made such a difference to her development which we feel as her parents going forward have aided her so much. We love the fact the school keep families up to date and their monthly newsletter is very good. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for their child to grow in a clean, safe and friendly environment.

Excellent nursery providing safe and fun environment for my daughter. She enjoys her learning and has come so far since her time here at 10 months old. The carers are great people who I can speak to if I have any concerns. My daughter has done really well here. I am very happy and we will miss it a lot.

The nursery are very flexible and accommodating to our needs. Staff are friendly and welcoming and most importantly both our children are very happy to attend and are making good progress too.

Friendly and helpful staff. Children always happy with an array of activities. I would highly recommend as very well managed and organised.

The good feeling that my wife and I had about this school was underlined by the fully deserved excellent ofsted rating this year. The staff make the school what it is - always cheerful, always delighted to be surrounded by children, ensuring that they engage with the quieter ones and encouraging participation. Activities are well balanced and follow the curriculum well. Our son has flourished here over the past 2 years - he was apprehensive for the first couple of days but the expert carers brought him out of his shell and he loves attending for the one long day (7.30-6) and 2 mornings per week.

I can not recommend The Little School highly enough. The manager and the team are all very dedicated to ensuring all the children are well looked after, engaged in education and varied activities. My child has been at The Little School 2 room for at least 18 months and I have never been able to fault their approach, reporting back at the end of each day and fabulous atmosphere that they maintain. My child is definitely ready for school but will miss The Little School dearly. Thank you.

Excellent setting for children to learn play and have fun. Extremely dedicated staff who put children's needs first and follow the Early Foundations diligently. Good communication with parents.
