The Little School Daycare

Our daughter loves going to nursery at the Little School! She joined 1 year ago when she was only 9 months old and she has been looked after amazingly by the staff. She has improved and developed in so many areas as they follow each child and help them to grow their skills and reach milestones according to the child’s own lead. Lots of fun activities and my daughter loves her carers so much! We are really happy with our experience and would definitely recommend it!

My daughter started a few months ago and settled in really quickly. I think you can always spot a good childcare facility by a gut feeling you have within. I got this feeling before she started and I was most definitely right. It is a lovely daycare facility, the staff are caring and compassionate and have a lot of patience. (My daughter can be a little rogue at times) She is always happy when coming home and looks forward to going, which is also a good sign. I have experienced them working with me on a few struggles like fussy eating and potty training and my daughter has improved on both early learning tasks. I am happy and my daughter is happy, which is what is important.

Both my children have attended The Little School - my youngest just left to go to reception. They both had so much fun and love while they were there, from the staff. They have been nurtured into little independent people. The staff were informed and caring and I couldn't have been happier with the level of education and love they received. The communication was great, the accounts department was efficient. They were also flexible where possible, to accommodate my family's schedule (shift working parent). I couldn't recommend them enough and we are sorry that this is the end of our journey with them.

My little girl started Little School when she was 10 months old and left to go to primary school. I also have a son who has been at the Little School since he was 10 months old and he still attends. I’ve been very happy with the care both children received. My experience with the nursery has been exceptional and I would recommend the nursery to anyone who is looking for a caring, nurturing environment for their child.

My son joined the Little School Daycare in summer 2018 and I cannot express enough how lovely and caring this nursery is. All staff are nice. They go above and beyond to help and accommodate your needs/requests. My son is due to start primary school and it is a bittersweet experience not having to pick him up from nursery anymore. A huge thank you to The Little School staff.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the Little School Daycare Team. My daughter has attended since she was 11 months. She has recently left to embark on reception. The team have always been responsive to any feedback and very efficient. My daughter cried at drop-offs for almost two years and the staff were always reassuring. A huge thank you.

The Little school nursery is the best. My twins attended from 14 months old until they left to go to reception. The Little School gave the best preparation for school. The staff genuinely care about my children and treat them very much as individuals, taking great care to support their particular needs and interests. My twins flourished very well during the time spent at the nursery. All the departments at the nursery were flexible, understanding and supportive of our family life. They have managed the re-opening of the nursery following the Covid-19 pandemic: every detail has been carefully thought through in a bid to ensure a safe return for the children and staff members. The twins were very sad when they left the nursery. I have taken them back since for a visit.

I cannot recommend The Little School enough, they have been amazing these past 2.5 years. The level of care and interest they show each individual child was so reassuring, and I always felt totally confident leaving my little one there, knowing that not only will he be cared for, but that his days were enriching and fun!

My son attended from 1-5-years-old and has the best memories of this wonderful family nursery. The staff are caring, the space and facilities are amazing, and the children learn so much and have a great time there. Highly recommended.

My son has attended this setting since he was 6 months old. He has been welcomed and cared for by staff beautifully. During COVID the nursery had to close but I was so happy that they decided to re-open in July with sound safety measures. It meant so much to him to be able to go back to nursery, albeit a different one (set-up/covid-19 precautionary procedures). He formed bonds with his key workers throughout.

Lovely, nurturing nursery that I cannot recommend highly enough. We have had 2 children attend, and each has had a fantastic experience, forming close bounds with key workers who are amazing. Several years after my first child left many of the staff are the same and remember and talk to her at pick-up/drop off. Also great facilities especially outside spaces for London and also the soft play. Very impressed with level of detail and planning in activities around development.

My child has been at The Little School since she was two years old, she is now almost five and has graduated to Reception. The staff there are incredible and became like family to us, I always felt that she was so safe and happy with them. My daughter was also very well prepared for school and could not wait to start. The staff turnover is very low, they are flexible with their sessions and the preschool site has been consistently rated outstanding by OFSTED in all areas. This is the best nursery in the area by far, we even moved further away but kept her place at the nursery as we were so happy with it. Would recommend to all.

I cannot recommend The Little School highly enough. Our son attended from a year old until he left to go to the reception, and I really do feel The Little School has given him the best possible start and preparation for school. The staff genuinely care about the children and treat them very much as individuals, taking great care to support their particular needs and interests (including dealing with dietary requirements). They also deal with discipline exceptionally well - nothing gets missed, and any issues are managed calmly and in a measured way. I also commend them for the way in which they have managed the re-opening of the nursery following the Covid-19 pandemic: every detail has been carefully thought through in a bid to ensure the safe return for the children and staff members. I only wish they ran a primary school too!

Very pleased with the nursery excellent staff and facilities. My daughter is always happy to go there she has learnt a lot and I know she is in good caring hands with the wonderful staff in the nursery. A lot of activities and games, dancing and singing my daughter loves all of it.

Very caring staff who listen to individual needs. It's a very calm and light environment with plenty of indoor and outdoor space that's appropriate for the children's age. The longevity of the staff is great, they always stay for long periods and we used this nursery for our first child.

The Little School Daycare is an excellent nursery. For the last 14 months my daughter has flourished under their care. Across 3 different rooms (ages) all the staff have put her needs first while also being understanding and flexible to family life. We are happy with our decision to attend Little School and it makes our lives so much easier knowing she is so happy when she isn't with us.

I was worried about my daughter going to the nursery because it would all be new for her but, they've made both me and my child feel so welcome. I feel comfortable around all of the staff and my child is such a happy child since she started here. She had struggled with her speech before nursery and now, after a couple of months, her speech has improved so much. You can see that the staff have a lot of time and a good bond with each child in a happy environment.

The Little School is fantastic, the staff are all kind, caring and capable. Our son has a great time, especially in the garden and soft play.
