The nursery has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with excellent staff who are caring, supportive and professional. My child enjoys attending with engaging activities and extra sports from outsiders. Great communication, regular observations and learning updates on the app.

I am very pleased with Busy Bees Harrow, my daughter is 3 now & she has been attending this nursery since she was 8 months. She has a wide vocabulary, knows a lot about Earth, planets, plants, she can write her own name and numbers 1-10.
The food is excellent (tasted on taster day), chef in the setting
daily. Daughter loves her teachers in preschool. A++.
Reply from Frankie Morris, Centre Director at Busy Bees HarrowThank you for taking time to review our nursery. It is wonderful to hear your amazing feedback and that you are happy with the care we provide for your daughter.

My son joined the nursery just under a year ago. He has settled in well and speak very fondly of staff and new friends. His keyworker has been a godsend in easing the transition from his old nursery to Busy Bees and particularly being attentive to his emotional needs. My son has come on leaps and bounds
since joining the nursery. He is more independent and can express his needs a lot better than before. The nursery staff are very approachable and know each child individually. I would highly recommend Busy Bees at Harrow.

We sent both our daughters to this nursery 5 yr and 3 yr old. Both settled down very well. Our 5 yr old now in year 1 at school has very fond memories of the nursery and is always excited to drop off her little sister for a chance to say hello to her teachers. They both developed very well and were
set up well for school. Two things that really stood out for me are; one, my younger daughter was potty trained really fast because of the help the nursery provided and two, both daughters ate well and enjoyed the food exploring different items. Slight improvements I would like to see is better and more focused preparation for the start of school, more focus on letter formation capital + small plus sounds/phonics which would give them a better start.

My daughter started at this nursery after we moved homes. She had to leave her previous nursery and after not settling at an "in-between" nursery, she started at Busy Bees Harrow and was instantly at home. The nursery have a great balance of child led play and teaching of care skills in a fun way. My
daughter also loves the extra-curricular sports.
For me above, it all, is the comfort of the staff she is with. She is the happiest she's ever been!

The best compliment I can give is that it feels like a second home for my daughter. She's been at this nursery since she was 16 months and at every transition she has been cared for, supported and she has thrived at this nursery. The team care about providing holistic care where children's emotional,
physical and mental wellbeing is paid attention to. Couldn't recommend it more.

All three of my children have attended this nursery over the past 8 years, and I have been extremely happy with the care and support provided.
Even though it is part of a big franchise, Busy Bees Harrow has a real family feel. There is genuine love and care for the children, and good communication
with parents. While some nurseries provide a glorified babysitting service, Busy Bees Harrow also has a varied and effective educational offering. My children love going there, and at home, they talk about all the things they've learned.
The management is excellent, and over the years, I've seen staff members mature and develop into leadership roles. They approach their roles with professionalism and pride. The nursery is clean and well equipped.
Our youngest child will start school this year. While we'll miss hearing about his adventures at Busy Bees, I feel confident he's had the best possible preparation for school. Thank you for everything!

The best nursery which my son absolutely loves attending! Every morning he wakes up asking me whether he can go nursery.we love the environment at the nursery- they are educating, nurturing and genuinely care for the children they look after. We get detailed feedback every day and the app is always
updated with meals and what the
Children are doing that week and what they have eaten. A special thanks to four members of staff, in particular, for all your efforts with our son!

The staff at this nursery display such attentiveness to both my children that attend. They both come out so excited and happy at the end of the day. They are learning so much and are incredibly well-supported and nurtured. I trust this nursery hands down and would (and do) recommend to parents thinking
of sending their precious little ones. It's a fantastic learning facility where their social, emotional and developmental skills are challenged and grow.

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.622)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.622) out of 10 for Busy Bees Harrow is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 15 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.747 for Busy Bees Harrow is calculated as follows: ( (138 Excellents x 5) + (35 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 178 Ratings = 4.747
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.875 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Harrow is based on 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.875
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 56 number of registered child places is 11.2, which has been reached with 15 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
