The Grange Montessori Nursery, located in the charming coastal town of Ramsgate, offers exceptional full and part time childcare in a stunning period property. The setting has four spacious rooms that have been thoughtfully designed, with age-appropriate resources to support children's learning and development.

The nursery offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, inspired by the Montessori approach, fostering meaningful connections between children and the world around them and helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The Seahorses Room is where babies start their journey, with plenty of space to explore and engage with carefully selected toys and resources. As children grow older, they progress to the Turtle Room where they are introduced to the Montessori ethos and participate in planned experiences led by their Key Carer.

The Dolphins Room is for Pre-School children, offering free flow play and independence, as well as a dedicated Montessori teaching area. The nursery also provides a beautiful outdoor space for children to explore and develop their social and physical skills.

Following the Montessori Approach to learning, children are encouraged to make creative choices and learn through hands-on, collaborative play. The team support children as they prepare for their transition from nursery to school, and work closely with local primary schools to ensure is it a smooth process. Alongside the support of a qualified, passionate and child-centred team, children at The Grange Montessori Nursery will grow and develop under the best of care.

We have had children at the nursery since 2019. The nursery has gone through some turbulent times, but the current team, led by the manager, are doing a superb job. The staff teams in each room are settled, daily reports are very good and our daughter enjoys attending.

I'm so happy with the nursery, everyone is super friendly and familiar. It makes the place feel like a home away from home by my son. I always feel calm and at ease leaving my son there as I feel like everyone is so efficient, trustworthy and brilliant with the care they give. I was apprehensive sending
my son to nursery at first but the staff here made me feel calm and worry-free. I know that when he's there, he's looked after to the utmost standard and cared for.

We moved our daughter to this nursery after struggling to get her to settle at the one she was previously in. Best decision we have made. She has been far happier here at the Grange Montessori and settled in very quickly to her new surroundings. The staff are very friendly and approachable and certainly

Great nursery
Good quality healthy meals
Good handover and lots of updates from staff
My son is very happy
He would like to run around more if he could the outside door space is good although they are limited on size. What they have done with it is very good.
He settled very quickly from one
year and he is now 2.5 years old.

I cannot praise this nursery enough. The staff work so hard. We are always kept up-to-date with what our child has been up to both verbally and via the app. My favourite part of the day is receiving snapshots of our child taking part in the huge variety of activities.
My child is so stimulated throughout
the day with the many activities I would not be able to set up at home. Most importantly, I know he is happy there.
The parents evening and 6 weekly mini reports have gone above and beyond my expectations.
I also really appreciate the food being freshly cooked on site with a seasonal menu offering variety day to day. The additional fee for consumables suits me as it means I have less things to worry about packing each day. The long hours also work with my work pattern.
There have been a variety of parent events and celebration of national days and we have been well informed of via the app and news letter.
Management have always been quick to answer queries I have had.

The Grange have such a lovely team and are very supportive of my 1-year-old little boy, he has been there since he was 8 months old and has done nothing but thrive here thanks to the team! He absolutely loves going to nursery he goes in with the biggest grin on his face and gets super excited. He loves
seeing his friends and teachers he is even starting to say their names. When it's home time he will always say goodbye with a wave and a cheesy grin. Seeing him so happy makes me feel at ease and this is thanks to the great team they have there, I couldn't thank them enough for all they do. They have great communication throughout the day on an app that we can see all he does and all the happy photos will be cherished as memories.

I would not recommend The Grange Nursery. My son was overall happy but did not thrive there. The nursery changed a lot and put a lot of pressure on staff when it changed hands to The Old Station group, their staff turnover was insane. In the last few months, we had new management, I hope they can turn
things around but we still had no information about our son's experience on leaving. I always felt that my son was never encouraged to contribute and just got on with it and played with his friends.

My youngest son attended The Grange Montessori 6 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed his time there, so when my grandson came to live with me we decided to arrange a visit and see if he would also be happy there. Thankfully it’s still the same warm and friendly place it was all those years ago. When I

This nursery is absolutely outstanding in every way shape and form. The staff are all so caring, understanding and patient and look after my daughter so well. I feel so relaxed and safe leaving her in their care and she absolutely adores it! The activities they do are amazing and very suitable for the
ages per class. They help guide the children to become more independent and create such a wonderful environment for them to explore and create little friends. I am very happy and lucky that I am able to send my daughter here as it really is excellent! The meals are also super healthy and nutritious, with proper homemade cooking with lots of fruit and options! They also cater for allergies, my little one has allergies and they are brilliant at making she she is attended to!

My son enjoys going to nursery, every time when I collect he has a smile on his face and in the mornings he rushes in to play with toys and new friends. I always am informed what he eats during the day and sleep, nappy changes and other activities during his time in the nursery.

I would always recommend this nursery. My son loves it here and the staff are genuinely caring, and observant, give excellent handovers, and are happy to talk about child development and other child-related matters based on their observations and experience. Our child's key person is very gentle and
reassuring and offers a home away from home connection and a safe place for our son when he needs comfort or extra help. The reception staff and the manager are always helpful and informative and easy to approach or get hold of.

The staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. My granddaughter had a difficult start but now she loves coming in. The staff are quite amazing as my granddaughter is showing signs of autism on a high level, they are so patient with her.

Such an incredible nursery and the biggest appreciation goes to all the staff, they are amazing. My son started at the nursery when he was 3 months and the nursery staff were so caring and affectionate with him and gave him everything he needed at such a young age. He is now almost 8 months old and
absolutely loves going to nursery. He never has any issues going to any of the ladies because they all tag team and support one another and step in where needed and so he has built such special relationships with them all, best of all he has a very special relationship with his key person and that is one thing I've loved about the nursery is that he does have a key person and its so reassuring to see that this individual has made sure she is his key person and my son feels that too. The team are always super friendly and always happy to have a chat, they are quick to let you know of any issues or concerns and when there are any issues with my son they get hold of me as soon as possible.

The nursery continues to provide excellent care for our child, and we have seen their character blossom whilst attending.
The workers have gone above and beyond in supporting our little one, especially as she has additional needs.

I am so pleased with the nursery, the staff are absolutely amazing and considering what they are expected to do for the pay they get (due to the government funding), they’re brilliant! My little boy has been going there since he was six months old, he is now eighteen months. He only goes once a week
and even though he is usually a little bit emotional going in, the girls are always so lovely and caring when taking him. They’re more than happy to answer any queries and happy for you to phone and check in on them. They’re very accommodating and friendly. I honestly couldn’t be happier, my little boy is thriving and is usually full of smiles and laughter when we pick him up. His key worker is truly amazing and just so lovely, and the manager is brilliant too. There is also another lovely staff member from his room who is always there on early mornings, she’s great also! They’ve recently been rated outstanding from Ofsted also, which is a huge achievement so well done to them all!
