Both my children attend Fennies and it has been a very positive experience for our family. The staff are exceptional - they go above and beyond to ensure that the children are happy and well cared for. The staff know my children and their personalities very well and will often do unexpected things to make sure they are both happy. My children's speech, social skills, mathematical understanding and confidence have flourished at Fennies. They have a lot of outdoor time in the fantastic garden play area and have over the years learned to care for plants and the nursery pets (a turtle and a goldfish) as well as respect for nature and living things.
The Fennies staff are all very committed to the nursery - this is clear when they host events such as their summer fair, bonfire night trip, Christmas / holiday play etc. Their events are always incredibly well thought out and meticulously run and the staff seem to genuinely enjoy being there. The Beech House manager and deputy have create an atmosphere of mutual cooperation with the parents, they run a parent forum which I have found extremely valuable. As a management team they have worked very hard and you can see this in the fact that the staff turnover rate is now very low (it had previously been high).
What I most value about Fennies is without question the staff. I have noticed that every staff member (whether they work in my children's room or not) knows who my children are and is on good terms with them. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Fennies.
